Romance / Re: How Can I Reduce The Love I Have For This Lady? by Priceless200(f): 6:20am On Aug 26, 2019
Gosh...

Nairaland is too toxic. With these kind of comments, shows its really kids all over here.

Op, live your life and forget unnecessary worries, what matters in any relationship is peace of mind and happiness. If you get that with her. Then you have nothing to beat your head over for.

See how everybody is shaking the lady for accepting her kids and raising them, no single person on this thread said anything about the useless men that abandoned those kids with her, now even you wants to end the beautiful thing you both share just because she is responsible enough to keep her kids and not abort them, and also raise the kids. What a world.

You'd appreciate it if she aborted those kids right.? It's okay.

If only you know what it takes to find true happiness in relationships, how hard it is to find that better half out there.. You'd behave and have sense.

If it will be it will be. If not it won't.. Enjoy your life pls

Politics / Re: Flashback: You And Atiku Will End Up In Shame — Mbaka Tells Peter Obi by Priceless200(f): 8:06am On Feb 28, 2019
Watching this is quite nauseating, it is wrong on all levels. Giving should come from the heart for it to carry blessings. No man of God have the right to publicly do this kind of shit to anyone. He could have written him, or called him up later so as to discuss this., Peter is principled man when it comes to money, he probably came just for prayers and didn't prepare to give that day... This is wrong please. .

Anyways, You people should not make loosing election a sour case. Cause from the beginning its only one person that will eventually win. You guys and people like Mbaka are the reason election in this part of the world is a do or die affair.. After all, how many times did Buhari loose elections in Nigeria.

Health / Strabismus, Squint (4.30 Eye) Is Treatable. by Priceless200(f): 1:01pm On Feb 20, 2019
Squint, medically know as Strabismus as shown in the pictures below is actually not a permanent condition. It can be treated.

This eye condition mainly arises due to an incorrect balance of muscles, refractive error, childhood illnesses, nerve palsy etc..

At the Indians owned 'Thelish eye center' in Kaduna, the best eye clinic in Nigeria I must say, especially when it comes to surgery. It costs about 500,000 (five hundred) thousand naira to carry out a squint surgery on a child.

Have you or any one you know had a squint surgery before? Outside or within Nigeria.

How much did it cost?

How is the result afterwards?

Any recommendations?

Read more on this eye condition here.

If you're anywhere around kaduna, check out Thelish eye center. It's an Indian managed eye clinic and the best in the country I heard.

Dunno how much it costs there though

Crime / Re: How I Was Scammed In A Broad Day Light In Abuja. by Priceless200(f): 1:11am On Feb 08, 2019
geek4k:
Hey guys!

This is quite a long read, yet an insightful piece. I have made it succinct as possible while making sure it engulfs wholly the key points. So make sure to grab a cup of popcorn or a bottle of water as you read through.

It all started on an early-sunny Saturday afternoon while I was walking my way home.

With a slight feeling of ecstasy depicted with a light-warm smile on my face, garnished by the symphonious rhythm of “Doing it wrong” by Drake wink YEH! I just withdrew little cash which I planned to give myself a little treat later that evening.

While I was still deliberating whether to have roasted fish or chicken with a chilled bottle of Origin “Brother please excuse me” so I heard as I turned behind to see who called my attention.

He was a black tall man in his late 30s. Please, I’m looking for so so… hotel, he said. Having been living in Kubwa, Abuja since the past 20years I’ve never heard such name as a hotel before. Sorry, sir I don’t know, maybe you should ask those people over there, I said pointing at a direction of seated people why I made haste to go.

Immediately some 2guys walked past us. He quickly threw the same question at them and one of them pointed at a direction he should follow to get to where he’s going to.

Quick note: It was at this point the play actually began, just to avoid confusion I’d assign quick names to the accomplices. x and y will be the two folks that walked past us while Mr. A will be the man who stopped me.

Mr A then thanked us gratefully for trying to help out. He made a fuss of the moment by saying to the x guy “You plan on travelling, make sure to pray about it”. He immediately turned to the y guy saying “You give your clothes out; your enemies are using it to plan against you”. He then turned to me. he said, “You walk barefooted, it’s too dangerous”. What tha..?!! I think his proverb to me translate how spiritually vulnerable I am. My mom had always said that too.

While we stood there astonished, I went totally numbed given what he just said. He introduced himself as a man of God… , gave me a scripture to read in the Bible (Psalm 23) as he did to x and y. He also said he works with Father Mbaka and that he came down to Abuja for a ministration assigned to him. He thanked us again, turned and crossed the main road and went towards where he was directed to.

Guy do you know this man? The y guy asked me. No, I don’t! he just stopped me as he did to y’al. “How he take know say I dey travel” – asked the x guy with confusion boldly written all over his face. I need to have his number, this man is no ordinary – said the y guy talking to his pal. They walked towards Mr. A. Just out of curiosity, I followed them.

We outwalked Mr. A, met him and politely asked for his number. He refused, saying he only minister to people when directed by his god, he doesn’t give out his personal number. He also said since we’ve made effort to meet him he was going to tell us more about the revelations he had about us.

At that moment in time, the whole experience seemed very light and somewhat significant moment of my life.

Mr. A started by asking our names, which we responded. Summarily, the way he talked, he made us felt comfy, easy to confined in and communicate with.

Mr. A went on preaching to us about forgiveness and helping the less fortunate. He talked about forgiveness for a while and made me promised him to help the less privileged. While all these were happening, we were walking down the road heading to the so-called hotel.

Metaphorically, Mr. A spat fire as he spoke. There was this aura of authority and confidence when he said things.

He further revealed to me that I’d have long been a graduate, that I was supposed to have gained a scholarship to school abroad over 6 years ago. He also said I was born to be a very successful person, well recognized and respected. Hearing that my heart beat in affirmation, I had already seen the writings on the wall. He asked about my current state, I answered with full honesty.

He continued by telling me about a mystery woman who has always been marking my footprint because she had issues with my mom and swore to her grave never to forgive her nor her children. which according to him is the reason I haven’t yet manifested.

He made me recite some prayers after him (actual prayers) to God that I’d forgive if he mentioned the name of the woman while he performed an actual trick on me which I was made to understand it was a miracle. The trick was my saliva appeared at the back of my hand while he made me put it on my palm. Sounds funny? He actually did it, it left me stunned.

He also made me rub the same saliva all over my palm and on my forehead.

Amidst all these, Mr. A seemed to be more interested in me as he always talked about the vision he had about me. “Maybe I’m just the most blessed” - I couldn’t help but had this thinking.

All these experiences took quite some time, because x, y guys and I took turns in his ministration.

At a point, he switched topic and started telling us about the number 666 and how the devil has come to destroy the world. He advised us to change any of our personal stuffs that have to do with number 6, be it our phone PW, debit card PW or anything. He made us wrote down our passwords including debit cards on a sheet of paper.

It was time to reveal the mystery woman to me who has been marking down my footprints, my heart beat skipped in dismay and outright anger filled my head.

We had to take turns in hearing the biggest revelation of our lives because we all had unknown evil persons working their a$se$ out day and night just to make sure we don’t attain any successful endeavor.

Mr. A told the x guy to move ahead of us while counting till the 7th electric pole at the right, he also asked him to drop everything behind not to cause himself any distraction and while he moves he shouldn’t look left, right or back. Lastly, he should pick sand from the 7th pole and wait for us there. The x nigga GAVE ME his phone, wallet and that piece of ml

Lastly, if any stranger asks you to count – READ MY LIPS – E-L-E-C-T-R-I-C P-O-L-E…

Stay blessed!

Exact this was used on my sister in Dutse Alhaji Abuja like two months back. She Wan craze.

Yes, verve is very useless.

Verve is not useless

Some local sites don't accept payment with visa. Verve hardly fails for local transactions whereas visa may foam or be rejected. Even Quickteller sometimes rejects visa. But with verve. Never.

Visa and master are mainly for international online transactions or for ease of use outside the country. So of you don't transact on foreign sites or travel out I suggest you go for verve. Or get the two.

What I do is I usually hve both verve and visa cards for my most used account.

Non is useless

In fact if as a reigning chief, it is confirmed that you bring anything cultism near your kegite activities, or condone any form of it, you will be dekeged (that is suspended from even being a member) . Now talk more of ordinary kegite member.

That said, I won't tell you that there are no cultist in kegite, naaahhhhh..
Just like we have cultists all around us, we worship with them in our churches, mosques, departments, schools, other social clubs etc. We welcome everyone in kegites so long as you keep your cult activities outside.

Reason why kegites are allowed in all schools, their activities are open, in my school those days, some lecturers openly gyrate with us.

My suggestions.

Always get a school for your kids close to the house, place of work etc or pay for school bus(for pick up and dropping off after school) especially for kids old enough to stay on their own after school till you come back from work. For the younger ones after school programs will do.

Then at the home front, get help that comes and goes even if it's once a week for some hard chores like washing/ironing, grocery shopping, exclusive house cleaning or weekend cooking.

Invest in kitchen machines, freezer, microwave, dishwasher etc and of course a washing machine if you can.

Please by all means get an external help no matter how little. Plssss. Don't be ashamed or scared, Stress is real. And it caused more harm than good.

You must not get a live in maid.

I remener your odeal in the hands of the military that invaded ANSU and by extention Amaka hostel then in school. Even anti cult and Mpiawaazu..
In all of these, you survived. You passed, graduated and left like every other successful student.

You were such a kind hearted soul, too sociable and caring, a real definition of a party starter...

I was so glad one day you chatted me on Facebook and told me you're in Ghana and when I checked you out, you were doing well for yourself. You even have a woman and kids by your side. And I learnt you were preparing to legalize your union this time and that was why you came back. Oh if only you knew.

Yes, you might be a cultist in ANSU then. But you never hurt anyone, you are one of the best souls I ever came across, you were rugged at the same time highly gentle.. In short my dear Lion. I am dumbfounded.. Just jebe, laa nkeoma.
You are too young to go but then, I guess such was your destiny. In your next world, may the word 'cult' never be found in your dictionary.

Such a promising young man. Nwa afor Igbo aga eji jee mba. Laa nke oma.

I pray your parents and most especially your wife and most importantly your kids, I pray they find the fortutide, the grace and strength to bear your passing away to eternity.

Events / Re: Igbo Union In Finland Celebrates New Yam Festival In Grand Style by Priceless200(f): 6:48pm On Aug 27, 2018
United4greatnes:

The Igbo Union in Finland, the umbrella body of all the Igbo speaking people of Nigeria resident in Finland  celebrated their annual new yam festival "Emume Iwa Ji" on Saturday 25th, August 2018.

The union which is a registered Non Governmental Cultural Organization comprises of Nzuko Umunna Ndi-Igbo in Finland (Imo & Abia), Enugu Progressive Union in Finland and the Anambra State Association, Finland.

In Nigeria, the annual cultural festival by the Igbo people held at the end of the rainy season in early August symbolizes the conclusion of a harvest and the beginning of the next farming season. The celebration is a very culturally based occasion, tying individual Igbo communities together as essentially agrarian and dependent on yam.

This year's festival was attended by a large number of Ndigbo from all parts of Finland. The opening prayer was done by the chairman of the occassion, HRH Prince Idiagboff  who also spoke extensively on the agricultural growth and exploits in the eastern part of Nigeria, most especially in the area of yam production. The "iri ji"( New yam eating" festival which was filled with pomp and pageantry was anchored by veteran journalist, Chief Ike Chime.

The incumbent chairman of Igbo Union in Finland, Chief Barrister Simon Ekpa, in his speech, emphasized the importance of culture in nation building. He said " culture is the total way of life, through culture we are govern by norms and customs which are the pillars of any society.

According to the Igbo Union chairman, this year's festival is targeted at promoting multiculturalism within the Finnish society. He also sent a strong message to the Federal Government of Nigeria over the killings and continuous marginalization of Ndigbo in Nigeria. In conclusion, he urged Igbo governors and leaders to speak up against the marginalization of the Igbos and the genocide that is been perpetrated by the present government.

The climax of the event was the cultural dance display by various member associations that make up the Igbo Union in Finland. Also, the traditional chief's and elders danced majestically to the Igbo cultural music while the ladies added added icing on the cake with their glamourous dancing steps.
