...so what's your advice for me? Go or wait till next year?
though I wasn't the one answering ur questions but I think it's high time I meddled.
U're not the first to ve failed neither will u be the last. The fact is that it boils down to what u want. u can settle for the less if u're interested to. U can accept the offer for two reasons...
1. So as to ve more time to concentrate on next year's preparation cos U'll be far away from side-tracks from family and others.
2. if u've made up ur mind to go for an educational course which might not be what u've passion for.

But u can also decline the offer and invest all ur time and resources into next year's preparation...

More grace to u bro!

It is not a must u pay this week. Bt it is a must you bring u tender Ur receipt during clearance. i.e if u intend doing Ur clearance on the 18th of Oct, u can pay on/before that day. My little advice is that u should get Ur other documents ready before coming for the clearance and have it at d back of Ur mind that u are spending two days in IB. Day 1 is for payment of acceptance fee @ the stated bank because it won't be easy to be candid, I know d kinda stress I went through before I was able to pay my school fees @ UIM bank, the queue was long even though there were other banks we could use. U can imagine how it will be now that it is the only stipulated bank...if I were u, I would go to d bank as early as 7am or before 7am, get on the queue, pay my money then go back to wherever m staying. ( I won't bother to do clearance that day because it might nt get to my turn before 4pm) day 2. Get to my venue as early as 6am, join/ form a queue and chill till 8am for the clearance.
Please, dnt give anybody money to pay on ur behalf if u don't trust the person, it's better to go through the stress yourself than looking for shortcuts....wishing you all a stress free clearance.
...

and this sums it all...
what they actually mean is that we should pay the acceptance fee before the day for the clearance. Those that're mandated to pay this week re those who will do their clearance on day1(Monday)
So we should get all our docs ready

It's been long I visited here..... Actually I can see another Marc9(Relic of the past) in the person of pstmike but totally opposite to the nature of the former. Am so happy that u're helping peeps here. Once again, BE BLESSED
I watched all the tumultuous and puerile brawls from the sycophant-breeds of far from better but I was quite disappointed that u guys made a fuss over some little brats!
Nonetheless, am overjoyed that u guys ve gotten over it, kudos!

I think it's quite plausible if I share this piece!

A PARABLE TO LEARN FROM.
A lost dog strays into a jungle. A
lion sees this from a distance and
says with caution "this guy looks
edible, never seen his kind before".
So the lion starts rushing towards
the dog with menace.
The dog noticed and starts to panic
but as he's about to run he sees
some bones next to him and gets
an idea and says loudly
"mmm...that was some good lion
meat!".
The lion abruptly stops and says
"woah!
This guy seems tougher than he
looks, I better leave while I can".
Over by the tree top, a monkey
witnessed everything. Evidently, the
monkey realizes that he can benefit
from this situation by telling the lion
and getting something in return. So
the monkey proceeds to tell the lion
what really happened and the lion
says angrily "get on my back, we'll
get him together".
So they start rushing back to the
dog.
The dog sees them and realized
what happened and starts to panic
even more.
He then gets another idea and
shouts "where the hell is that
monkey!? I told him to bring me
another lion an hour ago."
The lion stopped and ate the
monkey for dinner.
This week God will baptize u with
wisdom needed for survival, and
whosoever that plan ur downfall
shall fall in ur place

Goodluck fellas

Analogous to what Francistony has typed, only 23k+ will be sitting for the putme though I don't ve the actual number of applicants for each course. Dunsin tried to do some funny thing but he wasn't successful unless some kinda obstinate kids here try to patronise him. Be careful and also vigilant for sheep in wolf's clothing.

what could be the criteria here, ELDS,jamb comb, ssce grades?, or randomly?, perhaps they will call back those who aren't eligible after the eligible ones have written their post utme and selection done amongst them. i just don't understand, i think its just the grace of God {not of he that willeth, nor he that runneth, but the one who showeth mercy}, to those who got eligible, don't rejoice exceedingly, it doesnt mean you are better than those who are not eligible, besides you haven't gotten the admission yet, despite that most of your rivals were eliminated, the pj will still be competitive cus of high jamb scores, just rejoice alittle and continue your studies.to those who are not yet able to login, i fell your pains, i can imagine how u fell cus i'd felt same {almost got insane when i didnt get admitted last year, cried all day, lol but chukwu di}, just pray ur prayer works, though an added merit to me, lol, but i dont merry over ppls unfortune. my prayer is that i will always be exempted in such case
there's quite some online-ruckus here cos of JAMB's wacky policy.

Christianity EtcRe: Dreams And Their Meanings/ Interpretation by PrinceCEE(m): 8:46am On Jul 15, 2015
someone should help me analyse the meaning of this dream.
I dreamt just in the wee hours of the morning. It was like I lost something and it fell into a big river. I jumped into the river to pick it up but it took me all of my strength trying to pick it up. The river was flowing and too stormy. People whom I could recognise was on the bridge watching the whole scenario. But the fact was that I saw myself struggling to get out of the river without knowing why I was swimming until I found something like a cup and picked it up and started swimming out of the river. I later swam out of the river before waking.

Thanks in advance.

EducationRe: Most Difficult Universities To Make First-Class In Nigeria? by PrinceCEE(m): 8:06am On Nov 04, 2014
KenSaroWiwa:
Don't mind the dude bushdoc9919 and let him keep decieving himself. The MBBS degree is not even classified meaning that there is nothing like first class doctor nor second class doctor .MBBS is MBBS so far you get your 50% pass mark and graduate.. What I noticed about this thread is that people see it as an avenue to advertise their schools. Even a student of the university of boko-haram will come here to brag about the difficulty of bagging a first class in their school. Imagine someone even making noise about the university of abuja, ambrose ali and the likes comm'on, these schools are poorly runned primary like schools with poor facilities. Its very easy to make a first class if you show dedication and hard work but the truth be told, the nigerian educational system is designed to dim the bright future of many students. Imagine lecturers in a department bragging about the total number of first class students they've produced in years and stupïdly boasting that "A" is for God, "B" is for satan and "C" is for the students. Isn't that crazy ? Many intelligent students are in these universities but these schools aren't allowing them to show their potential at all. The nigerian educational system in general has failed
this is well articulated bro.
The fact is that none is exempted from this academic menace. Some tyrant and sadist lecturers ve vowed till the last drop of their blood not to give a 'A' to any student no matter the student's effort.
In addition to the corrupt system, the students in question don't matter good. Most of them won't attend lectures, practicals. They sometimes miss their test owe to their habitual lateness. And after all these, they will blame their failure on lecturers.
For things to be better, all hands should be on deck in other to renascent our educational value.
Worst of all is that most students re just concern about certificate
EducationRe: Most Difficult Universities To Make First-Class In Nigeria? by PrinceCEE(m): 7:20pm On Nov 03, 2014
bushdoc9919:
Yes,you did.

And I wrote it because you Nigerian students think that university is some place to just chill for four years , and then pick up your degree...so that you can sit down in your comfy office and collect N1.5million every month in the oil company (Bank is a good alternative.).Oh, and you think that all the lecturers are out to fail you (that's partly truth in television....but some just make things difficult for you to see if you can surmount their challenges....more later).

But it isn't .

University, my intelligent and witty friend, is where you learn to solve problems. And no problem comes bigger than making the first class. That's where your strategies come in....your time planning strategems, your study strategems , even your prayer and religion strategems.

(And let me tell ya...it is very easy to get a first class...except in my field Medicine...because of negative marking which was deliberately introduced because they want to make us good doctors...not guesswork doctors. It's complicated).

And you cannot learn to solve problems without actual practical experience. Because, that is why University is hard for you....and why all those lecturers are sooooo harsh. Because in the real world, making a mistake can be a very expensive proposition. And in the real world, you will meet challenges that would make your university experience seem like a walk in the park.

Of course...things can be made better...hence my write up.

So, you can get a first class. But since you respond to my problem solving idea with such disdain....not with a reasoned rebuttal or better ideas of your own, I doubt that you are ready to be a problem solver. Maybe your attitude to education needs some change....urgently.
oh my! What a lovely and captivating write-up but after this u only got 1 like....

The bolded part got me sneering @u. As per say that mbbs is more sophistacated and complex than other courses. And that bolded part made ur write-up facetious!
