Yeah, was asking because of web development. I was thinking you were in Ibadan, and I'd really have wanted us to work together in web development.

Start with networking,if you really want to do others later.
Some of those courses don't need knowledge of networking for the Op to start.

If he could start with front-End web development and then do some networking course before going for the back-end, that would be advantageous. Although, he could still do any of them without networking.

Now this is super amazing. Please go ahead and acquire it. There are many ICT centres wasting away, with so many facilities in them. One of the reasons is that our institutions are not so much interested in breaking barriers. Except for some bodies like Jamb. That’s why private firms need to take control. The robotics lab I’m bringing could easily be set up or financed by govt. if they were keen on it.

Anyway I’ll give kudos to them, I received a Nitda scholarship for UK Masters during GEJ’s era. So I went for Advanced Control and Systems Engineering, Uni of Manchester. Had a distinction, got a UK govt scholarship for PhD with their robotics group. Had to obtain Nitda’s permission anyway. Finished it, spent quality time afterwards supporting a firm and providing solutions to Nuclear related challenges (using robotics). Now I found out something. Many times the UK relies on China for fabrication. Because the Chinese combine two great qualities: 1)they are cheaper, 2) thy never say anything is impossible. They have all the ideas and they make anything you ask for. So I’ve decided, you know what? Nigerians are like that, we can do better than that. What we need are facilities. I know Power Supply remains a challenge, but it is workable.

Please take good care of the solar facilities once you acquire them.

To your second remark, yes there are indeed a range of contributions from robotics and AI to farming. I’m very happy that you are already looking into it. If there are questions you have, if there are sensors you need, rugged semi-autonomous mini-vehicles, semi-autonomous weed control, controlled irrigation, these are areas we could collaborate.
Thumbs up

If you're of the opinion that love doesn't exist, but self interest. I pity you 'cause you may never know what love is with that mentality. On the other hand, It's not your fault. You've just been unfortunate when it comes to love.

Maybe, those poor men and women who end up cohabiting and at some point start giving birth were motivated by 'Self-interest'. If yes, what is it?

Nairaland is the only forum where someone would type something with so much confidence. Whereas, he's not an authority in that field. Anyone who says to you "Love doesn't exist", check his/her antecedent. They're mostly people who were hurt, but haven't gotten over the hurt.
Can you prove love exists?

HealthMy Head/scalp Pains After Haircut by PrinceCEE(op): 4:53pm On May 24, 2019
Hi nairalanders, I've been an Afro kinda guy that keeps hairs.

But, it happened that I'd always see hairs all over my room, after combing. I thought maybe, it's because my hairs are grown and cut during combing.

I decided to be shaving my hair, I started keeping very low cuts, very close to the skin, but I still see hairs in my room and it perturbs me a lot. Well, I've hairs on my legs, hands and at the back of my palms(like, on my fingers), so I think hairs come off from there too. I don't know why it happens.

Now, the major issue is that whenever I have an haircut, my head hurts, like my scalp hurts whenever I touch it, it keeps hurting till my hair grows to some extent. I have searched Google, but I couldn't find any comprehensive detail. I'm planning on going to the hospital soon, but for now, could the doctors here kindly tell me what could be the cause to these. I'd really appreciate, thanks...
FamilyRe: My Younger Sister Disrespects Me Alot - Help A First Born. by PrinceCEE(m): 4:23pm On May 24, 2019
nuelsam:
Well....... It all boils down on how u present yourself to ur siblings...... My elder brother who happens to be the first born of the family commands Respect........ Mehnnn! I respect that Guy forever! He's always there when needed........ He's strict! He's funny! Just name it! He gives us all a level playing field and when shit goes wrong, he always has a way in turning it around........ Op! It depends on how to present ursef to ur siblings tho money commands respect also buh not all times.........my bruv was respected by all even when he had no job.
This happened to be the best piece of advice here.

It all boils down to how you present yourself.

How shîtty is your life?

Maybe, you may want to work on yourself.

Maybe your sister needs help and some pieces of advice, but maybe, she thinks you're not worth advising her. Forget, money ain't everything.

For the fact that your parents were shouting at you, means, that you probably have problems too. Op, please work on yourself.

I'm far from home, I'm a student, I'm the first child, but sometimes, when my younger brother misbehaves at home, my parents always call me, so that I can warn and advise him. I don't beat him, he's 22!, but he respects me because I have earned the respect. Mind you, I'm as broke as anything, he's probably richer than I'm presently, because I lost everything I had to a business. So, work to earn her respect. In all, family is all we got. If I make money in no distant time, my family would enjoy almost everything. I'd give my sisters better education in better schools.

All in all, put your life in order first, before helping her with hers...

Maybe, you've a log of wood in your eyes and you're trying to remove a speck of dust from her eyes.

cos u can't upgrade RAM ooh, and the only option to upgrade the ROM is to get an external Memory Box.

if u wanna upgrade both, just sell the one you have at hand, add money and buy an upgraded one.

stay blessed, bro.
Just walk past a thread if you don't know anything about it.

Op, Ram Can be upgraded, but every architecture has a maximum Ram it can take, to avoid collapse.

Since your laptop is 2gb, and there are two slots, I presume it can take up to 4gb. But it might take more, just check the max online.

i'm learning Coding, plus I have an online business so I will always be online.. And I will love to at least game on it sometimes
Depends on the coding...

Generally, although you can use any laptop for programming, but for maximum operation, you'd need a laptop with more clock speed(≥2.6ghz is good)

You shouldn't be told about the Ram, although this is something you can easily buy and upgrade the laptop, but it tends to be costly depending on the size of the Ram you want to buy. (≥8gb is better, although 4gb is good too)

Some program's efficiency needs to be determined by running it on many child-processes, hence, needs more cores. Dual core systems can be efficient to run the program with two child-porcesses. But, you'd get more output by running it on a quad-core laptop(4 cpus), octacore would be very good...

Then, down to gaming and watching HD videos, you'd need a laptop with a high graphics card, while 1gb is relatively good, 2gb and more is better.

And lastly, as a programmer, one of the most important things I look for in a laptop is the battery's duration while coding. Put this in mind too. You already know how epileptic power is in Nigeria, so you'd need a battery that lasts long. That's where I normally make compromise. I can trade graphics card for longer battery.

So, check these properties in the two laptops, and make a pick yourself, or post these properties here, we can then help you narrow down the picking.
ComputersRe: Laptop Gurus Come And Help Me Make A Choice Please by PrinceCEE(m): 1:32pm On May 22, 2019
Depends on what you want to use it for.

What'd you be using the laptop for, then I'd ask questions pertaining to the required properties needed to give you maximum satisfaction.

Usual fear mongering.

Christianity is like all other 4000+ religions, a lie that only pleases hypocritic and ignorant minds. It will eventually die as it does not belong in a sane person's mind. Let alone he dedicates his whole life to defending it.
Lol...

You seem to channel the premises of your arguments on Christianity. Why not other religions?

I know, you'd say you've mentioned Islam, but, go back through your comments and see that you seem to be attacking Christianity.

Majority of Nigerians ignorantly leave the domain of discussion and prevaricate to another, it's not a must to comment on a thread, if you don't have any thing of relevance to contribute.

You have a strong argument, I'm nonreligious, I'm a deist, I was an atheist, not until I had quite a good number of reasons to be a deist. So I clearly understand your point, but I'd advise you to always know when to bring a discourse to the right place.

Nothing about this thread relates to existence.

Now to the topic, I once respected Freeze, but he's becoming more of a noise these days, probably to remain relevant. Where did he see Christians judge the guy? Or more to say, he seems to know the affiliated religions of all those that commented about the guy, both on twitter and other social networks?
Why'd he bring it up on Christians.

Some people are just slowpokes... That it makes me wonder if they ever uses their brain...!
