How else do I need to shout to let u know that it seems as if I just moved into 2015 from 2014. By 2017, I'll feel as if I had moved from 2015 to 2016 and that's how time flies.

It seemed like an easy thing through His redundant GRACE but only the dead and those hospitalised will tell of how hapless they were to be victims of the bad side of last year. Many scaled through 2014 into 2015 but couldn't scale through 2015.

What more can I say. Life is the main requisite and criterion. We've gotten lots of reasons to curse last year so do we've lots of reasons to bless and be grateful for last year. I can't certainly forget October 1st of last year as I saw my name in the merit list under mechanical engineering department. I also had bad moments last year but in all there's always equilibrium evenly distributed between our bad and good moments last year. But the gift of life supersedes all other things we've witnessed last year.

It's not definitely easy seeing this year. Even at this second I posted this, many just died now. Many just died at the second bridging this year and last year. But here we are, in a new year full of grace, greater exploits, lots of accomplishable visions and goals, divine favours and uplifting.
I could go on and on but the epistle will not end.

And in preparation for ur resumption nd as well as my end of the year package to you, i would like to state some few tinz which might be jokingly hlpful.

To the incoming freshers, do not forget ur mortar nd pestle at home when resuming(especially if u like iyan). Pondo yam is nt an option.lol.

Your grinding stone too must not b left at home, package am come there's space. Don't come nd form i prefer blender ooo... *shines teeth*

You don't need to come with refrigerator, nah,nah... the last tym i checked,the water in zik river is very cold (around 1 degree Celsius).


Don't be too big to ask for directions nd what you're supposed to do especially during medical clearance (Dnt b like somebody wey waka from jaja to PG school like 5tymz before i sabi wetin i supoz do).


Try to be friendly. It ll hlp. They ll come to woo u with campaigns, dnt be harsh. Fellowship reps ll also try to woo u to come to their denominations. Abeg think before you join. Your choice though.



If you sabi say ur papa na thousandnaire for house, don't come nd form billionaire in school coz no one give a fvck. In short just be yourself nd never be intimidated. If na garri u fit drink per day, drink it nd be happy... no go borrow money or do something crazy just to feel among.


Your roommates re gonna be different set of people with different characters. Just pray you don't ve the worse type nd if you do, dnt b scared everything ll be alright.



Also, be nice to the stalites you ll meet in your room. Nazo one fresher go call him papa come make e come chase us out. yeye boy. him papa too go report to the school security. smh... Abeg dnt b like dah. Drop those secondary school characters at home. buh if them allocate u to mellanby hall, room A53, abeg hlp me repay dah boy back. lool.

Today is 31/12/2015.

Resolution, being remorseful or turning over a new leaf can happen anytime but it's more effective on this day being 31st December.

Change, as has been known, is always constant. We can change at any slimmest opportunity.

All through the years, I've heard lotta 'new year resolutions' from different people posing and acclaiming on a new possible life style, thinking and personal disposition. I've gone through this as a matter of fact. When I assume my possible new ways, all I can see is my old self crawling in insidiously into my assumed-lifestyle. Also, when I look into the lifestyles of those that made new year's resolution, I can't find a piece distinguishing their old and new self. I wonder if the new year's resolution is really real or effective.

I've come to affirm rigidly that one can't do the right thing in the wrong way. Our yearly predicament can be attributed to our decision on the 31st December's eve. I can recall a statement made by a young lady some years back on 31st December. She said...." I'll sleep with all my boyfriends today because from 1st January being the next day, I'll be a changed person".
And actually, this attitude and thinking has become dominant in us. We want to be better tomorrow but can't start paying the prize of tomorrow from today. We've failed to understand that the future is bright on account of how we make our today to be. There's no such an ideal world where all we wanted just happen at the thought of the heart and mind. Because wishes were not horses, beggars couldn't ride on it!

I've made new year's resolution but at the end, I could only see that I had made nothing. I only achieve infinitesimal out of the myriads. I can't thank my mum enough for her words this morning during our morning devotion. She slipped in that for us to make an effective new year resolution, that we should start implementing the resolution from today so that by tomorrow, it'll be used to us and thereby not become new to us again.

Some want their new year to start off with new personalities but plan on ending this year on a bad ground. Today is the most evil out of other days. Robbers will plan on going for their last operation, girls will like to sleep with their boyfriends for the last time, guys will try to rape girls for the last time, paedophiles will like to get their victims for the last time today. All these are in preparation for a new year that's void of evil and corrupt mindset. We think that magic like that happens. But the bad news is that there's no such an ideal world like that.

For us to be better tomorrow, we need to start being good today being the 31st. The bad immoral lifestyles we've been up to in the past, let them all be memories. Let's start getting better today by being good. Let's use today to reflect on our new year's resolution and start implementing them today. We can't be better tomorrow if we fail to be good today.


In all, I implore all and sundry to be of good disposition worthy of emulation today.
