plaindealer: Your opinion even though flawed and myopic. Nigeria is doing way way better and we've achieved more and scored better performance in the last 4 years with less.
Where is the sense and sane rational in saying that the administration that earned and spent more money without any meaningful achievement performed better than the one that's achieving more with less?
Where is the sense and sane rational in saying that the administration earned over $100 per barrel and declared austerity measures with $77 per barrel oil earnings with nothing to show is better than the one that survived with $27 per barrel and even achieved more?
I was actually expecting you to show us the so called performance and realities on the ground in 2014 like power, health, roads, bridges and things that really mattered to Nigerians. Seriously, you need a brain change or rather, start using the one you have. Your premises of argument are flawed! |

The deceased who was said to be driving with his wife was intercepted by the VIO and in the cause of their illegal duties, argument ensued which led to one of the VIO agents to push him and he felled and hit his head on the concrete road and die.

Op, well, it's a taboo in Nigeria and more so, maybe your home's culture doesn't support it.
Albert Einstein married his cousin, a first cousin for that matter. To me, there's nothing wrong in your feelings, even if it leads to marriage. I think such is permissible in India, well, judging from some Bollywood movies I've seen.
But, I think you're lusting after her. And maybe, when you guys consummate whatever you guys find in each other, then you'd think right. It may be lust.
Then to stop it, don't feed yourself with the thoughts of it. Maybe, you may want to populate your mind with other girls' pictures and not her's.
Just love her as a sister... |

mhizdebbygold: Honestly I don't know who u are but I am very sure u are a nice person. U lifted my spirit, I actually didn't want to respond to those critics most people just feel throwing insults at others adds money to their account. Thank you for the advice and I'll do well with the punctuations next time. I wasn't paying close attention. Start paying attention. Most times, people assess us by what we write. You've a good command of concord rules, which to me, is a sign of good command of the English language. English language isn't a true test of one's intelligence but it then portrays to some extent the level of our brilliance. You can send me a pm, or you could mention me in any dead thread, and I'll be glad to help you through your punctuation. |

delugajackson: Total waste of brain cells.
Are you sure you are a student of a university? With this nonsense you wrote up there, do you still think there's any need for your parents to keep wasting their hard-earned money on you? And you are not even ashamed of displaying your stupidity in public. Academic Olosho. This is way too harsh... Nobody always get it right all the time. You could've made your point without insults. The truth is that, she writes as if she was talking... When one talks, the listeners don't usually pay close attention to the punctuation. Subconsciously, our brain processes the information and relays the best meanings to us. She only has to work on her punctuation. We could teach others without making a mole outta it. @ mhizdebbygold, I know you could do better, please take the writing criticism constructively. Have a good day. And to the guy in question, I'd advise you not to approach him, or more to say, don't ever consider dating an immature guy like that. Who in his right senses, would be asking you such questions as such. He has no right to probe into your privacy, as such as asking if you had had sex with your bestie or if you had had sex with anyone. He seems like a pervert to me and definitely immature! |

Marriage isn't all about sex. Marriage isn't all about love.
But marriage is all about respect, companionship, understanding and maturity.
From the above, I could posit that you both lack the four basic things in marriage which are the bolded.
The bolded brings about the other two which are sex and love.
Don't go ahead with the marriage, this isn't a coercion but rather, a piece of advice.
To other guys(ladies included) , don't marry any of the following...
1. Someone you don't respect 2. Someone you are not sexually compatible with. 3. Someone you rarely understand. 4. Someone that doesn't make you hörny at a single touch!
Young man, I'd advise you not to go ahead. If these uprisings could start at this early stage, I wonder how much more you'd endure the winter that's coming if you eventually get married to her.
If you guys don't understand each other now, you may never understand each other in marriage. |
Education › Re: Crazy Things You Did While Single On Campus. by PrinceCEE(m): 7:39am On Jan 11, 2019 |
Jonra: Tried my hands on a few failed and partially successful business ventures. They were all fun!
One time, after 500L, I left my laptop in the power electronics lab. Shortly after, the guy with the only key to the lab left before I returned to pick up my PC, sometime around 9pm. Already, I'd purchased a bus ticket back to Lagos from Nsukka for the next day.
Now, as a responsible student and a respectable student ambassador, I trekked all the way to the PG Hostel looking for the man with the lab key. Unfortunately, halfway to Odili hall, my phone died And I didn't know this guy's room number.
But I continued my journey because the incurable optimist in me kept whispering - 'maybe, just maybe when you get to the hall, you'll find your guy sitting in front of the hall or somewhere along the hallway, or watching television in the cafeteria'. Well I must have checked all those locations no less than 3 times. Man was nowhere to be seen!
Then I got desperate!
In my 5 awesome years of UNI. This was the night I embraced the roar of my inner devils. And like a flash from the blue, I heard a voice say, 'Go back and do whatever you must to get your laptop out of that lab'
With each step back to the lab, my desperation grew.
Immediately I reached EE department, standing right in front of Power Electronics lab, I noticed the wide glass partitions above the door of the lab. Now the only way into the lab was to reach above the door, open the glass partition, jump into a lecturer's office and use a door that opened into the Power Electronics lab.
I've never had more adrenaline in my whole life than when I did all of the above that night. Retrieved my PC and went back to my lodge at 11:55pm. Laughed all the way back knowing that I nearly compromised 5 years of hard-work and sufferhead.
One security guard flashing his torchlight in the right place!?
PS: Sexual recklessness and emotional irresponsibility/immaturity is NOT FUN!!! Well, what's fun to people tends to be relative. There's no yardstick used as a reference... The main thing is one being himself and minding the effects of his actions to humanity. |

I'd like to get things straight here. I'm a 300L student, in University of Ibadan. Is application still ongoing as I had applied just few minutes ago and I was directed to make a mandatory payment of 5k. More so, what's the tuition fees for the program?
I applied for maths and comp science and would I be able to apply to 200L considering the fact that I am already in 300L in a federal university with well grounded knowledge in maths.
What's the duration of the program and are attendance in class mandatory? |

Obinnalex: Your comment shows you didn’t consult Daad.de atall. There are many electrical engineering courses taught in English. Try to search well. Lemme give you some Universities to check:
1: TH deggendorf 2: University of Applied sciences Darmstadt 3: KIT 4: Beuth University 5: University of Kassel 6: OTH Regensburg 7: RWTH Aachen University 8: university of Rostock 9: Revensburg weintergen university of Applied sciences 10: Paderborn University
Next time try to search harder. Remember Electrical Engineering can come in different names.
Embedded systems, IT, Power Engineering, Microsystems, Communication Engineering are all under electrical engineering. Even if you study a course named Electrical Engineering, you will be required to specialize in one of these options I mentioned above. Thanks... I'm so happy seeing selfless people who tend take out time to answer questions here... One question For one who wants to start the winter semester from October 1 to March 31, when is the right time to apply? Because I'm trying to see if I could get to B2 with intensive learning and if not, I could go for an English taught program or rather, go for studienkollege as it will give me more time to read up on some courses on my free period. I'll wish to leave here before October 1 if everything goes on well, so when is the safest time to apply, I know I can look up online, but I just need an answer from experienced dudes here that know how German admission works, as to know my level of daily learning of German. |
