Java is easier but I prefer C#. Don't really like it though, but it has a shorter learning curve. C# has too many keywords (some are worthless self what is the difference between const and readonly) and knobs that takes time to understand but at the end it is worth it. For example C# can be used in game development (Unity which is getting better by the day), Web development, application development and many other fields. But Java is much more inclined to application development (not sure about this though heard they have an OpenGL library which C# doesn't have hard support for SharpGL is there though)
Lol, you really think Java is easier than C#. Java is easier until you get to the advance part of it and you’ll almost run away from java lol. I am very proficient at both languages and trust me I wouldn’t advise a beginner to start with java because java is not friendly when you get to the advance part of it. You have to be super good at it to walk through it because you would come to the reality of interswitching platforms even in java because it doesn’t only consist of OOP, you’ll need to learn functional programming, work with data formatted (xml/Json) and many things you never heard of. On the other part, C# is almost similar but everything you need to get thru C# is provided in the .Net framework couple with a big community as well.

And talking about key words, don’t even get me started lol. Java got so many keywords as well and the main difference between const and readonly is the same difference between var and dynamic. They both does similar things except one would be called at compile time(var/constant) while the other would be called at runtime(dynamic/readonly). Difference between compile time and runtime is that:- at compile time, you have explicitly provided the data to work with and for runtime, you don’t know what data to work with (probably something a user would provide). Similar to using dynamic SQL.
Anyways, before I go so deep, the main point is, no keyword is useless at all, you gotta have a good grasp of the technology enough to know when to use which of these keywords.
smiley wink cool

Rubbish. I don't care about technologies of course I am not a software engineer, I am an aspiring computer scientist who believes in independent programming (writing programs without worthless libraries) because I said Microsoft is wash you are vexing ha.
No vex naw. I was just saying you don’t sound like an engineer cuz it’s really not about the language. Java is same thing as C# and can both build whatever. All Server side languages have similar purposes.... to build a back end so it’s really not about languages anymore, it’s about what you can do with it. That was my point tho

You are not a software engineer bro. You don’t know about technologies and I can tell by your response lol.
It’s okay just try to get more Inclined with technologies and any programming language and when you become a pro, you should come back to read this your comment and laugh at yourself lol. smiley

The only best way is if you know anybody coming over.On the other hand you can always get this in compare foods or African stores and they are not that expensive.
Someone was supposed to bring it along, but later dulled and left without packing it along. And to avoid the stuff getting wasted, it has to get sent somehow.

Teedawg:
you can get all these on Amazon
Seriously? Amazon dey sell naija food? I’m hearing this for the first time

hello.

that is why i swore to go the way of sirRiddy et al ever since i stumbled on this thread. However,

I just want to know if this is the best move i can make with the grade i have.
Don’t follow the way of sirriddy. Nigga is just overhyped on Nairaland. We in Kansas State University don’t even recognize him. Nigga can’t even pass an Advanced Java Application Development course. So just follow your own path. Study hard for GRE and as for your GPA, you’ll still exceed the cut off line of 3.0 after evaluation.

PS: I hope ruddy don’t quote me or I’ll rain fire and fury on him like NL has never seen before. angry

Don't get enemies for no reason..
cheesy cheesy Na wa oh! This is so so so not happening! Just tell me you didn’t just type that cheesy

First of all, not everyone can tolerate the excesses of our Naija people which is understandable why the brother is like that. Secondly, you’ll text your family not to vote for him like really? Do you know his real name or personality? What makes you think the vote of your family members is enough to decide for the entire country? shocked I’m sorry, but how old are you?

Matter of fact, I give up. I leave TWoods to deal with his people since dude got time on his hands

Please whoever is going to Kansas State University or University of Central Missouri should let me know jare...
