Delaria: Thank you. I already suspected, when he said it's 20k, and I don't need to be there... Just my information. I will say dont do it, if u cant wait for German embassy in Nigeria look for some programm or somthing meaningful to do in cotonou, apply for RP urself and stay there sincerely at least 6 months. All this back door deals end up in tears, i dont know how important schooling in germany is for u. We all should stop getting back deal documents or insincere documents from people or agents..this re part of the reasons no one trust nigerians |

RMatthias: No,
My AL is having Nigeria address ooo. hhmmm u can use it still but if i am u, i will prefer my documents and information on it to be consistence i.e primary contact should be in cotonou. Becuase u never know what the VO look at and things u think re not relevant might be key points. But if u have good reason incase u re asked then i will say u re good to go. |

RMatthias: Thank you.
The resident permit has been issued for over 7months. My mother has a business there, and I do visit her as well.
How viable do you think this can be to them at the embassy? In ur case u can apply through cotonou, hopfully ur AL is having ur mum's address. |

RMatthias: It is a crime to go through Cotonou from Nigeria? I needed to get this clear, pls!!!
Because, I have a Cotonou resident permit, and I'm planning to go through that route, although I currently reside in Nigeria.
I need your advises please!! I think it will be safer if u could prove that u have been residing in cotonou for at least 6 months also whats ur purpose of residence in cotonou. cotonou address, bills etc. Dont underestimate the embassy they know everything and they cant be tricked. So things dont get worst for u than it is now. i'm very sure u re not the first nigeria doing this |

And please link me to the person too abeg The amount is not much but what if the document turn out to be fake...without u knowing about it. Make unah dey careful because such might ruin things big time. |

UhnNah: Don’t make excuses for a ‘CONSULATE’! They’re the government, they have people who would think and clear out the nuisance’s wasting the AD’s! They can start requesting for additional infos etc before giving out dates!
My concern is the way they’re neglecting the students without ANY reasonable explanation! If they put it on their website right now say hey,we don’t want you students in germany, some of you get to germany and don’t attend classes bla bla, So we’ve put a peg on student visas for now! Students don’t have a choice but move their study ambitions to another country! But they’re not giving any reasons at all for months even before covid! Just like USA wasn’t giving interview dates to Nigerians some times ago (Trump’s unwritten instructions - let dem africans rot) then they opened up dates then went on a visa denying spray!
There’s nothing wrong if student’s here wants to stage a very non-aggressive,Low crowd, what’s going on,look into our situation kind of protest in front of the embassy! They’d do something! Good luck to you guys! Every protest idea also meant to be peaceful, but it only takes one person and nigeria police to change it from peaceful to Vi..ol..ence....did u guys have any contingency plan for such situation. Do u think media will see it as fault of the embassy. follow the information on the embassy website is it too hard...the way u guys bo...m..b..a..r..d them with emails and calls reflect only negative on u guys. Stop comparing Nigeria to indians, iran, pakistan......try to do better so nigeria can be compared with better countries. |

Ykhgu1: Anyone who is smart will do two things now. 1 relocate to another Country like The Gambia, Cotonu, Ghana, Senegal and apply from there.
2. Apply to schools in other EU countries. Then use Erasmus Program to swap to Germany after first Semester. A smart lady recolated to the Gambia in March and she is applying from there now..
People are making smart moved don't sleep.. Thank me later. They will relocate there and mess up things there also...u know ur people |

Portex: You talk like you are an American citizen, well you don’t need to be in this thread. The way you generalize your statements without any facts shows your level of thinking. All the problems you mentioned are not even a good reason for whatever is happening now. There are ways to check all those fraudulent activities you mentioned and you are wrong by saying that the poor performance of Nigerians Led to the introduction of A and B categories. Germany is not the most popular destination for Nigerian students, it’s not even the second option when compared to US and UK. So don’t say what you don’t know. Reserve your comments if you have nothing positive to contribute. And if you are not in Nigeria currently, you have no right to comment on this thread if you have nothing to contribute. Theres nothing positive to contribute because this issue will continue if u guys dont see that is all ur fault things re this way. before changing the embassy policies first change urselves also stop comparing urselves with other messed up countries just to feel good its shameful Nigerians student re desperate, arrogant and dont take responsibility for their mess up. its only sad that the good ones will suffer from the mess the arrogant ones make |

obibanks: I dey tells you. The way Nigerians want to claim RIGHT on the way a Foreign country does their thing is alarming. Y'all won't Demand better conditions from your Government but want to protest at Walter Carrington, una no well Most of them dont think, they just desperately want to leave nigeria no matter the cause. AD problem was created by ur fellow nigerians and even some of u here contributed in making it even worst. Nigerians have abused the booking system for years, some provide questionable documents like SL and even some provide incomplete documents, poor performance of nigerian students in german lead to cat. A and cat. B, some even tried to manipulate the system by claiming financial aid from private schools as scholarship, someone wanted to flood the embassy system by booking incorrect AD, now some of u want to protest like Visa to germany is ur right because they gave u admission or becuase u fund BA. Studying in germany is a privilege not a right and if the embassy said wait till they re fully functional, the best thing is to obey simple instruction, your school cant help you no matter what type of letter they gave u. Maybe if u guys change ur arrogant attitude maybe things might change for once. |

Joodei: Thank you for your response. If I understand you clearly, are you saying I have to pay for the first semester before I can start processing my study visa? As long as you have AL u can process ur visa without been enrolled. My advice is, get ur visa first before paying ur enrollment fee because it might be none refundable. You can always defer ur admission if u didn’t get AD or Visa. |

Joodei: Hi everyone,
Please I'm trying to apply for MSc for a particular course. However, the tuition per semester is 1500 for the 3-semester progamme. If I get admitted, would I have to pay all 4,500 when I get my admission letter?
If not, what percentage of the total tuition fee is usually requested.
Thanks You pay per semester during your Enrollment, I guess your school is in Baden-Württemberg. So you don’t have to pay all 4500 euros |

Aristotle16: Hi guys. Concerning the block account, a travel consult/agent is giving me a deal of funding my block account (as loan) however I will need to pay 10% of what I am to borrow i.e I will have to pay #400k to get #4m into my block account that they have a link/connect with the bank in Germany bank that will enable them take back their funds when I have arrived Germany. Considering my situation I don’t know how possible this could be. So I need you guys or anyone that has an idea of this help with possibilities of this whole stuff being positive. Psychologically, I cannot make the right decision alone.
Response on this Will be appreciated Danke! One last point, investigate ur agent properly to make sure ur account is not been used for money laundering. One can’t be too careful. Best of luck |

Just wait till they fully resume their consular services before booking an appointment, since last year the site of the German Embassy in Nigeria has not be consistent. So the key is patient |

God gat everything under control U feel bad cuz my comment is true, prove u re really a student by attending lecture online as along as u have enrolled, pending while u get the chance of studing in person at least after this crisis.. not just sit at home complaining. fancyto: Germany is giving Nigerian students admission when we don't know our faith as regards getting a visa and travelling. Currently, international flight resumption is on hold and government isn't saying anything yet. German Embassy and German Universities are both independent body they don’t work together.....getting Admission, Block account etc does not mean u re guaranteed interview or visa. At the moment every universities re offering online studies, some even online exams, how many of u guys who got admission and enrolled attended any of the lectures. Unah go just dey here dey complain anyhow like say nahh Germans fault. Unah matter tire me |

Nigeria our country. Why re u guys complaining about international flights.....AD has nothing to do with corona it's just a convinient excuse......getting AD has been hard even before corona. The only thing u guys can do is to be pacient and occupie yourselves either with online studies provided by ur schools or just stay at home. Nigeria is Nigeria so naming list of countries who re doing things differently is just derailing the value of this thread. |

Like u rightly said, I will drop out of the German race before I go for what I have no interest in to study because I won't even do well in it. I don't always have 2nd choice even here in Nigeria... I don't know why they are still closed. Unahh still dey argue about AD... Long time how the Hustle. |
