Preye21: Yeah I took the test. Got the result today Nice one! Please tell me more about the test? How can I register for it? How can I prepare very well for it. I just need a 100 score. |
Education › Re: Duolingo For International Students by Princekenuk: 6:05pm On Nov 23, 2020 |
tarantino1: 1 week is enough to prepare. As long as you have an average understanding of the English Language, getting over 100 shouldn't be difficult.
You just need to familiarize yourself with how they set their questions that's all.
And for the practice test, you have to create an account with your email to take it. You can take as much as you want to https://englishtest.duolingo.com Thank you very much for your prompt response. How do I register for the test? It seems only visa cards are allowed for the online payment? I have a ZENITH visa card. |

tarantino1: I couldn't take it again that day. I did it yesterday, got my result today and made 125. Way above the school's cut off. I know I'm safe.
I initially wanted to take the TOEFL, but after seeing the cost, I had to look for a cheaper alternative which was Duolingo and the school accepts it.
When are you taking the TOEFL? Please which website can I get DuoLingo practice tests? I need to practise seriously. What is the level of difficulty? Is one week okay for a good preparation to get a little above 100, which is the benchmark of my proposed school? |

What if someone that has a background in Ms Biochemistry/Chemistry in USA and wants to switch over to Pharmacy, what will be your advice? Will enrolling into Pharm.D. be a good entry point? Obinoscopy: Your first step is to write FPGEE. But to write FPGEE, you'll need to write TOEFL and also send in your transcript and license to NABP for evaluation. Hopefully you can get all that done before the end of the 3rd quarter so that you can write the FPGEE Exam. The pass mark for TOEFL is usually very high, especially for the Speaking section, so you need to seriously prepare for it.
Concerning job, I'll recommend you apply for sales job with chain pharmacy stores like CVS, Walgreens and then work your way up. You can start as just a sales clerk in the Stores section and then request to be transferred to the Pharmacy section. You can also become a certified pharmacy technician as well.
After passing the FPGEE, the next step is to write both NAPLEX and MPJE in the State you intend to practice as a pharmacist. You'll also be required to be an Intern for close to a year. After internship and passing the NAPLEX and MPJE exams, you then become a pharmacist.
All these takes nothing less than 2 years |

Please I will advise you to continue with Chemistry for now. The field is hot cake, you can easily get admission and funding. It'll pay you. Consider the hurdles of funding and visa interview on career switch. Go for Ms Chemistry for now. When you get to the states, you make the switch by going for a second Ms program in data science. Fabuloski: Thank God I saw you. I am also a graduate of Chemistry currently undergoing my NYSC, batch20A.
The problem is I don't desire to further in Chemistry anymore but rather in data analysis. I have started trying myself in this field but I have no real field experience.
My concerns is will I be admitted in the US or won't that be a problem for me in the embassy and won't it affect my chances of getting full fully scholarship? Thank you |

Be properly guided. MTSU needs WES evaluation. University of Alabama and Houston are high schools to break in, unless you've got a good profile. BGSU has gotten lots of applications for Fall 2020. Most departments don't need more applications because they are full. Mail before you apply there. Also look at University of New Haven, some departments waive GRE.............. Also.............University of Texas Rio Grande Valley............ Illinois Institute of Technology...........University of North Texas etc. obajoey: Thanks boss |

Someone who has OND & HND will request her polytechnic send both to WES? Since it is the school that usually delays, if she has an insider that can speed up the process in her school, that would be fine? Then how much does WES cost presently and the process? I want to advise someone properly on how to go about it. BOA2020: With WES, a higher GPA compared to ECE. WES doesn't waste time, it is your school that does. I completed my WES in one month |

Hmmmmm. I get what you're saying. Trump might not be the best now but they should find a way to return him to power. Trump is fighting off enemies! If Dem come in, these same Americans will wail greatly for Rep to come back. Some persons are not seeing behind the scenes, that's why you see allegations keep moving up and down everyday just to distract people from the real issues. Biden's deputy might be Hillary Clinton instead of Michelle Obama by powers that be within the Dem inner party circle. She still has her eyes on that number one seat. She wants to break that record by all means. If she has her way, she can dislodge the number one man in the long run. November is around the corner, let's see how it goes. Pray for America! TheNoble007: Trump is not the best choice for America, however he is better than his strong opponents in many terms that I choose not to explain. They say, the devil you know, is better than the angel you do not know. The coming election will determine the future of America and the destination of the world. Trump is bound to lose in the coming election... I saw him control power for a short time. He will definitely not win the election and will give the reign of power to a man whose deputy will be a woman. Feel free to quote this prophecy when it happens... |

Keep the one you have now by the side. Go and pursue the Canada own first and get it. How will you decline USA when you have not gotten Canada offer? Please use wisdom. People are also making it big time in USA too. USA has more opportunities than Canada. U can USA first, then go over to Canada to secure citizenship later please. ByeByeMan: I got an admission in the US, I just got the email. But now I'm having second thoughts. Based on the strict immigration laws and limited job choices due to type of Visa. I hear Canada doesn't have all these. Is it wise for me decline the admission in the US and apply to a school in Canada instead ? |

I have an existing ETS account with which I used to register my last GRE; the score was too encouraging. It was registered by the DUBIOUS AFFORDABLE TEST GUY, who left me with an outstanding balance of $240. That debt is very huge for me. I want to retake another GRE test.
Can I go ahead to create another new ETS account to register the GRE? The outstanding balance is equal to registering another GRE. I need your advice. Will ETS dictate it with my passport photo page details? |
