Aroma File Manager
Anyone heard of Aroma File Manager?, wait for it, I’m so excited about this app.
Let me speak for myself, many times I like to tinker with my android phone, trying out one app or the other, be it sideloading an apk, flashing a script, or changing some file system attributes, sometimes the phone just hangs and I have to do a battery pull, then power on again, most of the times I end up with a bootloop which prompts me

to do CWM backup

wipe data / factory reset

do a data restore from the backup and I am up and running again

This solves the problem for me 99% of the time, but its time consuming, now this is where Aroma File manager comes in, some days back I sideloaded an apk, and the phone stopped responding , 5 mins gone still not responding , all I had to do

is pull the battery
copy Aroma file manager to my SD Card(it’s a zipped app) via the PC
boot into Recovery, go to mounts and storage
mount all the mountables, go back to install zip from SD card
navigate to Aroma FM, and flash the zip, instantly the file manager comes up

I already knew the name of the app I tried to install, so I navigated to my system/app folder and deleted the apk, exited the file manager and rebooted my phone and VOILA!!! it came up.

BENEFITS OF AROMA

It allows you to browse your file system when in recovery mode, with priviledges to
1. Set permission for apps
2. Delete/cut/copy n paste app in system folder
3. Unlock your android phone if you forgot the password or pattern lock without loosing data, even with usb
debugging off,or doing a factory reset (if you’re interested I can tell you how “but strictly for educational
purposes oh)
4. Take Screenshot with Power and volume Down button
5. If you encounter a bootloop and you know what app/file change/permission settings caused it you can undo it via Aroma
6. It has Terminal Emulator to run commands

Don’t forget all these is done in recovery mode……
(it doesn’t matter if you’re rooted or not, have custom recovery or stock,) NOTE: IT WILL ONLY WORK ON DEVICE WITH ARM NEON SUPPORT)

After hearing you out, you sound reasonable than the other dumb-as dude without a point of direction. I decided todo a search on this Pliris, this so called people do not manufacture this phones! They only rebrand or develop the device OS! I cant see anywhere that says they develop the mobile device or made/manufactured by Nigerians, if so please where on the website?

Am pretty sure the phones are imported probably from China or somewhere, but still its good to know Nigerians are developing Apps to run on this devices. Its a good start.

I'd wanted to sit on the sidelines and watch/listen on and on about pliris, Seriously i ownn and use a pliris blaze + , my initial worry was that it was made by a nigerian and dual sim, i just dismissed it and said chinko, but on a 2nd thought i decided to give it a try, and trust me, it's by far better than the Samsung s duos and the other duos, except for the new grand duos which is a 5 inch.

Need i say this, most of the phones (Anroid >> HTC, Samsung and the likes are either made in china or korea, likewise the parts too) But you need to handle this Pliris blaze+ to know what i am talking about, though you can get the whole specs on the pliris website, just to mention a few, its a dual core, dual sim (you can use H+ on both sims by changing, 4gig internal storage ,2.7gig available, HDMI etc, the only downside is the ram 512MB, But it goes without saying , its still one of the best dual sim android phone.(I dont like carrying two phones). Less than a month to the first anniversary of the  tragic death of rapper Dagrin, another very bright and promising star has passed on, in very shocking circumstances.

Multiple sources are confirming to us, that fan-favourite CD John, who emerged last year as one of the most promising acts in Nigeria’s stand-up comedy industry, is dead.

The young cracker, who became a regular performer at almost every gig/concert since late 2010 when major promoters and critics first noticed him, was on his way back from Industry Nite when he crashed his car and ended up at St Nicholas Hospital, in Lagos Island.

as funny as it sounds i checked for my mum and it corresponds accurately, am still (wow)ed, all of us turned out to be accurate with the year and month.

even when the system gives options of pressing the various funtion keys, it has no effect on it.

i've 4llowed this thread for a while now, and i noticed how u guys help people, so pls helpppppppppppppp
i have a prob with my system, hp compaq dc 7700 small form factor, all of a sudden when i put on the system, it does not boot at all, it just reads the ram size on the board then goes off, i removed the had disk and powered it, same thing happened again, i have changed the processor the ram but it wont come up still , just counting up to the ram size and then it goes off, sometimes it counts to (420, 560, 920) before going off.
i would appreciate any help i can get. thanks
