Dr young: This is the type of utterances that every well meaning medical professional should not use at all. With this mindset I wonder the type of job satisfaction you will have when you eventually work with these co-workers. Remember they can make or mar you.
I thought every brilliant science student wants to be a doctor or engineer until I saw my younger sister's school brochure. The number applying for pharmacy, nursing far exceeded those who wants to be doctors. People wants to be what they want not because they didn't pass JAMB, check the cut off marks for these courses. And let's not forget that they choose their careers because of Passion and the impact it has on people. Most candidate that didn't reach the cut off mark to study medicine is sent to physiology,anat,zoology .........name them but not pharmacy or nursing likewise these courses too.
Please try to analyse and research properly before posting, let us not sound arrogant and uncultured while debating issues.

95% of med lab and nurse johesuans today wanted to read medicine n due to jamb or 2nd mbbs failure didn't make it. Then mayb '3%' really wanted to genuinely read their courses. Dese 3% knw their place in d health sector. U can't one day wake up agitate to head a hospital because u hv been assisting us for a long time. Until u get it into ur thick skull dat u r jst an assitant, the beta workin relationship we wud hv wit u. A dr cannot head nnpc because he hs been managin their clinic for a no. Of yrs. A househelp cannot assume head of family havin served for many yrs. We hv been trained to do all u do, its jst because of patient overload we created officers for u guys to assist us nw u wnt to take over Bullshit!!!!!!! There is no whr in d world dat there is a residency program for medlab, rehab, nursung, porters and cleaners anywhr in d world. If u wnt to head hospital, go and read medicine fulltime. Also u guys said u can do all we do 'save' surgery. Dnt wori, by friday we wud go on our own strike. Cme and take over let's seee wat u can do. #bloodywannabes
