Why was Nacho removed instantly after that Offside One-on-one Miss? If he was having a stormer he would have continued i think. For him to bring Nacho off for Yaya Toure when you need a goal tells you something.
Nacho Is a great talent but he had a POOR GAME, no manner of twisting can change that. If he Impressed you it means you are easily impressed. |

So to single out Nacho as if he was the cause of the defeat is mischief cause 3 Aguero in that team today would've changed nothing. Nacho in the midst of King & Huth, ha! they for just give our boy 6months injury. If you have been reading what I have been typing, I am not singling out Nacho, But was disagreeing with someone who said he had a good game. |

You can trust the experts who failed to talk about the clear penalty in the box against Iheanacho. The failed to pickup the build up plays or the brilliant passes to the wings.
When you find an expert that points to the Iheanacho penalty call that left him in agony on the field let me know.
Even the EPL studios refused to talk about City penalty calls at half time. That will tell you everything.
Find an expert that talks about the penalty call. Maybe because it wasn't a penalty, I watched the Match on Bt sport, Savage and Dunne(Ex-City Player) would have mentioned it if it was a penalty. |

Iheanacho had a good game. There I no way you can say he had a poor game when he did not have good service. He made the most of the situation. Created a clear scoring opportunity for Gundogan, won a clear penalty that was denied.
The question is, how did you not see any of these and asked for one thing.
What of the clear build-up plays by Nacho when he dropped deep?
So, which if these did you see?
Yara Yara, bring my Bullet proof vest. Someone is shooting point blank. Kelechi Iheanacho 5 - Contributed hardly anything. Missed a glaring opportunity by failing to get his head to the ball six yards out and was hooked soon after. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-4020686/Leicester-4-2-Man-City-PLAYER-RATINGS-Vardy-s-party-Bravo-Stones-suffer.htmlKelechi Iheanacho 4- was a poor replacement for the Argentine, replaced after 58 minutes by Yaya Toure who was an unlikely central striker for the last half an hour of the game --- Telegraph Iheanacho Wasn't given the best of service, but he was simply eaten up by the big centre backs. The one time he escaped, he was marginally offside - and shot straight at the keeper in any case. I hate people defending wrong with Football is a physical game. Did you watch Fernando win the ball clearly and the referee gave him a yellow card?
What of the unfair tackle on Iheanacho? There is no way the referee and lines man did not see that. The tackle was even from behind.
Please, football is a physical game but not full contact like kickboxing or karate. No need Having a conversation with you if you call that a fact I seem to be missing something where was the kickboxing happening? Only Mike dean would give that as a penalty. Why is Aguero’s shoe too big? Because, the midfielders failed to create clear cut chances for Iheanacho?
Remember, we had the same issue with the Chelsea game, where the referee allowed unfair physical defending against Aguero. Aguero lost hi Temper in that game.
Whether Messi, Ronaldo, Robben, Hazard or Aguero, if the Referee does not protect the attacker, they will not perform. If you want to defend a poor performance no problem but trying to lay the blame on the referee is bollocks. Top players don't need protection to perform.2011 against Madrid In the Champions League Messi was kicked about, without the protection of the referee Messi scored an individual goal. Football is a physical game. Nacho,Navas,Bravo,Stones,Sagna,Fernando were poor, Iheanacho was anonimous. If you say otherwise tell me one Exceptional thing he did? |

“At my debut we played in a stadium that holds 30,000 and there was 60,000 – I don’t understand how. People were standing on the floodlights, on the scoreboard," he added. "I was thinking, ‘What? This isn’t even safe!’
"But people there will do anything to watch the match. Sometimes in a Premier League game the fans are a bit quiet but in Nigeria you just hear trumpets, everything. The atmosphere is so different compared to England" This gave me goosebumps |

This was Rakitic in the image below creating a gap in the midfield that caused Messi to drop really deep. He left acres of space which Modric, Isco and Kovacic successfully exploited in the first half. All this, just so Roberto can attack.
You think it's a coincidence we played our best game vs Madrid after he left?
And I'm sure he was out of position because He still thinks Alves is around and needs cover..
Collecting that 50m from Man Utd for him will be the best decision by the club. What that stat actually shows is that Rakitic had to keep width on the Right and Also put a shift in Midfield.Messi free Role in the El-classico cost us the game. Stop trying to blame Rakitic. |

goldfish80: Bellerin was bought as a Right winger(no7) from the Barca U18's but was further developed and converted at Arsenal as the Right back we see today. Pique was at Manchester 3 years prior to his 22nd birthday which makes him eligible to be called English "home grown"
Marcelo played a full season in Brazil before he was bought with cicinho I think.
Teams do not look to Spain and Netherlands when searching for defenders. The ratio of Spanish home grown defenders who have hit the tilt and those who haven't is like 2:10 Bailly Says Hi tho. Pep first choice was Laporte. Most of the best Ball-Playing defenders are either spanish or Learnt their trade there. Lets Agree to disagree as i don't see you caving soon. Pique came to United and flopped couldn't cope. Not all of these central and wing back defenders will be able to hack it in the Premiership. Pique didn't flop at united. He spent his teenage 3 years having to compete with Prime Ferdinand and Vidic, he was even played at Right Back sometimes. His case was like Tiago who had prime Xavi and Iniesta . |

goldfish80: In my post I layed emphasis on the word "home grown"
Some of the names you mentioned do not tick that box. Belerin, Pique were educated in England. Marcelo, Godin and Alves spent their formative years in South America.
There are very few classy defenders who rose through the rank and file of Spanish football, from the academies without being educated else where.
The coaches in Spain spend more time training midfielders and strikers more than they do with defenders. Bellerin spent 8years at Barca before moving to Arsenal in 2013.if that's not home-grown enough? Pique only spent 2-3years at Man u Dani Alves and Marcelo went to Sevilla and Madrid when they were 18. The claim that spain doesn't groom young defenders well is a myth that is false. |

goldfish80: Godwin Ekpolo's case is a curios one. Although not so surprising, injuries have been a major draw back for the guy. Again, La liga is not a famed for producing top quality "home grown" defenders. The best defenders in La liga are mostly imports who got their education else where.
Home grown defenders from La liga usually don't hit the tilt. Osede as promising as he was for Real Madrid B is slugging it out at Bolton in ligue 1.
Am happy Uche Agbo is only on loan at Granda.
Their production line of midfielders and strikers is top notch but when it comes to defenders, its a bit meeeeh Do you watch La-liga or are one of those EPL fans who have single minded zeal. Can you show me where I for one second said Iheanacho should be ahead of Aguero? Did you even read what you quoted?
Please, maybe you are following the development of Nacho. If not, you will not make a statement of Nacho without speed. Nacho off the ball, is now blistering. Watch Manchester City's build-up play before Iheanacho's goal against Bournemouth. Iheanacho kept up with the pace of Sterling.
Watch Iheanacho's run before Ighalo's goal against Luxemburg. The Algerian coach pointed that Iheanacho's running caused them problems. The guy is now fast.
What I want to see is for Iheanacho to pull off those speed with the ball. That is what I mean add to his game. If you read my post well, I was agreeing with you in the First Paragraph of my statement. If you think off the ball speed is the same as Speed on the ball then you should watch MSN closely and see Suarez whose speed on the ball isn't great, keep up with Messi and Neymar in most of Barca's counter attacks. Yes, I follow Kelechi developments keenly at city. |

There are people who analyse by just looking at reports. I doubt he watched that game closely. In the article, the author talked of Nacho missing a glorious chance. He will not talk of the amazing performance of Nacho before that miss.
Nacho dropped deep into midfield, helped in the build up play, then ran at an unbelievable speed to meet the ball ahead of all the players in front of him during the build-up.
They will say what a poor miss but, they will not say what a brilliant play to get to that position.
So no use arguing much with people who view things from one perspective. Is it not funny that your perspective should be the standard perspective of others? I Streamed the game so no need telling me otherwise. If you really think he had a Good game that day then your standard for a Good Match is really Low. |

Five games..... Not even five minutes and you tell me about pressure.
One game.... Just one game. And Nacho wasn't even poor. He was just average and his high-pressing game was excellent.
Even TheGoodJoe himself who you wanna support and join swords with will knock you for using "poor" to define Nacho's performance that day.
Aguero lost form so badly that Pep had to even bench him at a point.
Nacho never lost form. He always delivered during Aguero's absence thru suspension.
So mister.... Bollocks is all you've just said. So Nacho must be at "WORLD CLASS LEVEL" to get games huh?? Na wa for some people sef.... He and Sane were given the lowest according to Dailymail. Leroy Sane - 5 Given a role on the left flank, Sane endured a night to forget at Old Trafford. Showed his ability in the weekend's draw with Southampton but didn't see enough of the ball to test United's defence on Wednesday. Was eventually replaced by Sterling. Kelechi Iheanacho - 5
Proved to be City's hero at the weekend by popping up with the equaliser against Southampton but was ineffective against United. Missed a glorious chance to break the deadlock in the early stages, fluffing his lines when he should have at least tested De Gea.I just Showed You kelechi Minutes compared to other Backup striker in top teams in Europe.

So again I ask, MUST IHEANACHO BE AT MESSI-LEVEL or AGUERO-LEVEL BEFORE HE GET EVEN FIVE MINUTES UNDER GUARDIOLA SEEING THAT HE GOT NONE IN THE LAST FIVE GAMES??
Nacho cant play AM or RWF at some point in a game?? Nacho is suddenly "useless"??
Did Nacho even suffer dip in form?? Aguero did but not Nacho... So what the heck are you saying?? @Bolded Iheanacho does get minutes. Just that Lately pressure has been on City and Pep to win games. Nacho was Poor against Man U(EFL) to say he didn't have a bad game is absoloutely bollocks.

I have stressed that there is more things I feel Iheanacho should add to his game. So, the talk of giving him opportunity to show his skills does not add up. I don't know why guys on this thread are reasoning with "emotionally" clouded minds. Iheanacho is nowhere near the level of Aguero and Wouldn't start for any other Big Team aspiring for European or League Success. Pep prefers his wingers to be Very Fast which is not a strong attribute of Kelechi so he cant start as a winger. Pep doesn't play with a Second/Supporting Striker. Morata doesn't start games when Benzema is Fit and Firing. Munir who i rate didn't start games when suarez was below par last season. Iheanacho would get his chance but to think he is a world beater that deserves to start ahead of Aguero is disturbing. |
