Didn't watch the Match was asleep, After watching the Match and some comments on here ya will think we should have lost 3-0. The truth is Enrique cannot be blamed for this defeat when you have Iniesta and Busquets missing. Most People will not say it but Arda should have Played on the LW, Neymar was wasteful(According to what the Highlights says) The Midfield is our Only Problem Now. Hopefully Vidal starts again Atm . |

TheGoodJoe: I am not ready to start digging articles now. I will just give a recent excerpt about Messi’s sleeping habit that improved him.
Nasri told French TV show L’Equipe du soir: “For him, his players’ sexual activity must take place before midnight in order to get a good night sleep – even if they are free tomorrow.
“He [Guardiola] said that he placed this rule on Messi and his muscles improved since.”

Please, I did not say I started watching Manchester City In 2010. Before you run around saying you are quoting rubbish. If it is too controversial for your understanding, ask.
I watched Shaun Wright Phillips a young boy at City. I was watching City in the time of Darius Vassel. Watched City when Keegan was coaching them in lower divisions.
I watched almost every game of Nigeria '99. I watched almost every game of France' 98. Watched David Beckham, Gérard, Owen as young boys.
I watched Kanu, Overmars, Finidi George, Seedorf, De Boer twins, Edgar Davids as young boys. Before you think it is today I started following football.
I was analysing football deeply in the 90s. Thought Guardiola Already declared that He didn't do any of those? https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/2219712/manchester-city-news-pep-guardiola-laughs-off-samir-nasri-sex-ban-claim-insisting-football-is-impossible-without-sex/ Was not questioning when you started Watching Football, I believe Most people here are Adults, Just questioning the fact that You said you were a United Supporter before Joining City. Can't even Phantom how you could watch City in the Lower's division In 2001 when Most People Struggled to Watch MOST United Live 2001. |

I Have been resisting the Urge to Quote the Rubbish you have been Spurning Out Since ,What's even More Surprising is the Fact that Other Dominant Member In this thread Have failed to Put You in your Place in this Guardiola Non-sense. You Claimed to have Started Watching European Football during Mancini's Era in Man city. Yet You Lecture People Who watched Messi Before Pep's tenure in Barca. Would Take You Serious if you can Provide a Link or Reliable Quote of the Statement You made Above. |

TheGoodJoe: In defence, Mikel pressed up field against Barcelona midfielder Xavi, who was eventually unable to pull the strings due to Mikel’s constant harassing.
http://backpagefootball.com/the-curious-case-of-john-obi-mikel/59804/
Taken from this chapter.
In the contentious second leg of the Barcelona semifinal encounter, on the back of a solid performance in their 1-0 win earlier, Mikel single handedly shut down the Barcelona midfield. For 90 minutes, the Nigerian showed determination, stamina and speed that were once thought to have been nonexistent in his game. In defence, Mikel pressed up field against Barcelona midfielder Xavi, who was eventually unable to pull the strings due to Mikel’s constant harassing. Furthermore, the Nigerian was tireless in double marking Lionel Messi, while breaking down through balls from the Barcelona midfield. In attack, Mikel kept things simple as ever, laying of the ball to midfielders like Ramires and Lampard before man marking Lionel Messi, denying the Argentinian space to ply his skill as a false nine from deeper midfield. Chelsea emerged with a 2-2 draw and winners on aggregate, moving to a much stronger challenge against Bayern Munich. You Provide a link paying tribute to Mikel? |

Yes. Iheanacho presses better than Nolito. Nolito outclasses Iheanacho in tracking back.
Go and read reviews of how Chelsea neutralised Barcelona in th Champions League in the season Chelsea won the Champions League. Check out Mikel's role before coming back. How does Nacho Presses better than Nolito when he doesn't track back, Cover-More Distance Per Game? Got any Links? Very Sure Xavi wasn't Man Marked Or Pressed My Xavi in the 2-2 draw. |

goldfish80: If you're playing in a heavy possession team, distance covered will have to be mostly from keeping possession like Barcelona. In a counter attacking team, distance covered will mostly come from chasing after the ball. You are very Patient. Just Move On or you guys will keep coming back in circles. |

I have seen it all. Which Season did Mikel Press Xavi? Sure as hell wasn't in 2012 or In 2009 , You Guys here will start churning out rubbish and start stating it as facts. You Even said Iheancho is a better Presser than Nolito? |

Not price tag. Iheanacho is now fast, on and off the ball. I agree now, we do not need to spend big. With Iheanacho, Sane, Gabriel we can build a formidable attack line. You are delusional of you think that attack will be formidable. |

ElDeeVee: Funny you mehn...we both know Ini was just a young peripheral figure for Barca prior to 2007 with more established midfielders like Van Bommel, Deco, Xavi, Motta and Edmilson ahead of him in the pecking order. Also, after 2013, his performance dropped drastically and it was a big surprise for the whole world to see him in 2014 FIF Pro XI. However, I for one, will not forget the great Ini that played some mad soccer for Barca and Spain between 2007 & 2013.
Bottom line - Iniesta and Lampard are football greats Iniesta Played 37 out of 38 games In 2005, Played 11 Matches in 2006 champions League win, I think he even gave the assists for Eto's Equalizer. He was a key Figure In 2006. Iniesta Performance has been consistent till date, don't know where "his Performance dropping drastically" is coming from. Bottom Line - It's a general Consensus that Iniesta would be regarded as One of the Best In his Position, same can't be said of Lampard. |

I do not think it is a why. It was meant to be. I was a big fan of Carlos Tevez as a young teenager (16) and I was a Manchester United fan when Tevez put up a brilliant performance. Alex Ferguson refused to sign Tevez before the end of the season. Tevez left to City at the beginning of the season. I still held on until City announced Roberto Mancini as the coach of the Club. That was the sign.
I am a big Mancini fan. From his days as a player of Lazio, to his days coaching Lazio and Inter Milan. As soon as he became a Cityzen, I became one. From then, in 2010, my undying loyalty remains with City.

From real. I doubt you followed the discussion. His reply was in response to safarigirl saying I am not a Manchester City fan because of Iheanacho or Guardiola. The discussion originated from her writing that I was one of the few who believed Manchester City was the best option for Iheanacho to grow in.
So, how was the discussion not about Iheanacho? Sorry to Ask, why do you support city again? |
