Debroslink: THE dude is not a defender. He needs to be put in his natural position Agreed. Remembered him having a very good game there against Madrid during the 4-0 win. seems its either Ivanovic or Moses in january. |

BascoVanVeli: I feel sorry for Iwobi i wish Wenger would have given him a chance to make amends. Also this Iheanacho thing is getting out of hand it was clear Aguero was struggling why not try the kid? Didn't watch the match, but it seemed pep was playing for a draw. Think he will start against burnley though. I personally will love him to go on Loan at any Premier League club, Bournemouth to be precise they play attacking football and dont have a definite striker. |

Tottenham midfielder Dele Alli has decided to change his name on the reverse of his match shirt from 'Alli' to 'Dele', due to feeling "no connection" to the Alli surname.
Tottenham explained on their website that, while Alli will retain the number 20 shirt, he had elected to have the name 'DELE' displayed on the reverse of his match shirts.
The 20-year-old revealed the reason for the change was a personal one.
He said: "I wanted a name on my shirt that represented who I am and I feel I have no connection with the Alli surname.
"This is not a decision I have taken without a lot of thought and discussion with family close to me."
Think this should clear any more misconceptions. Now let's continue talking about Nigerians who play or will play for the Super Eagles in the future. |

So, I just had time to go through the match again. Iheanacho's first touch was really average against Algeria, think that part of his game will improve as he gets more game time at his club side. 6Moses was my MOTM, His Energy won us the match IMO. 10Mikel Played really well In the first half but the game passed him by in the second half. 8Etebo looked out of place in the team for the first 25mins but marshalled the game from there On. 8Akpeyi wasn't to blame for their goal but looked shaky at times. The save he made from the free kick was a turning point in the match. 7Iwobi few glimpse of the player we know but wasn't his day 7Balogun was caught out of position a few times but was the difference between a win and a draw. 9Onazi, the one time he was drawn out of position by mahrez we conceded that goal. His positioning was excellent prior that goal. 8Omeruo made the RB position his own despite being a makeshift his interplay with Moses in the early part of the first half was like watching Alves and Messi play. 8Ekong was caught ball watching in second half when Algeria should have gone ahead. All in All, it was a great game of football. |
