SportsNigeria Lineup Harry Redknapp As Contingency Plan For Rohr by princesuko(op): 12:37pm On May 27, 2020
The last time we saw Harry Redknapp in the news in a big way was in 2018 when he was the winner of reality show I’m A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here (along with untold interviews through his car window), but there’s a new rumor floating around that’s as tantalizing and juicy as Harry himself.

According to ESPN, the former Tottenham Hotspur manager has been linked with a return to management for the first time since he left Birmingham in 2017 — and it’s with the Nigerian national team. Good old ‘Arry is reportedly wanted by the Nigerian Federal Ministry of Youth and Sports to take over for current manager Gernot Rohr, who is the middle of a disputed process to extend his contract which expires in June.

There’s an expectation that Rohr will receive and possibly sign an extension within the next week, but if things were to fall through, Redknapp is apparently being lined up to take over the Super Eagles as they head into a rescheduled African Cup of Nations year, as well as World Cup 2022 qualifying.

If appointed, this wouldn’t be the first time he’s managed a national team. Back in 2016, he was named interim manager of Jordan and managed them in two 2018 World Cup qualifiers — an 8-0 win over Bangladesh and a 5-1 defeat to Australia.

The source article makes it sound as though Redknapp is only a contingency plan in the event that things with Rohr really go south, and all parties expect Rohr to agree to a new deal within the next couple of days. But come on — who among us wouldn’t love to see Harry Redknapp wearing a Nigeria tracksuit and telling players such as Victor Osimhen, Wilfrid Ndidi, and Alex Iwobi to “fackin’ run around a bit”? I enthusiastically raise my hand.

you want Barcelona to start Benching the greatest player of the world ever just because of an early season injury? He's just 32 years and he still has like 5-7 years to go. It's not like his stats has dropped.

The problem is Suarez and his laziness, he has been constantly flopping and his performance has been going down ever since.

We need griezman, messi and dembele(ansu) as our forward
Where in my comments did i say he should be relegated to the bench? I would implore you to go through the message again.

Let me break it down for you, Messi is currently a Key player in the squad and the team has quite rightly been built around him, but we are entering a new phase and need someone that would take us to the next glory days, we need to effectively ease him out of the team doesn't mean benching him. It means reducing the amount of play and passage that goes through him, Our over reliance on him will not end well like we have seen.

I stopped reading your post when you said he has 5-7 years more, if you really do believe that then you're in delusion and i have nothing else to say.

European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Fc Barcelona Fan Thread: "més Que Un Club" by princesuko(m): 12:12am On Oct 01, 2019
I know this wouldn't be a popular opinion here, but people who know me know i absolutely don't care. I really do think we need to start easing Messi out of the team and need to relegate Suarez to a super sub option.

Arthur and De jong are the future of this team and should be built around them, we've absolutely no business starting Suarez when it means hampering the productivity of Greizmann by shifting him to the LW.

Defensively, Pique and Busquets are not what we need against top teams as we have seen over the past two years. We need to swiftly move on from them and utilize the potentials in our youngsters. Those two might seem capable in games where there are little to no pressure, but are quite a liability when we face the real deals.

Yeye dey smell, Is she worth celebrating? undecided undecided

We should sell this whole country to the highest foreign bidder, divide the money equally among ourselves (obviously some morons will still cheat us) . So we can find our square root individually. That is the only way forward!!!! We aren't independent!!!! I have not the slightest of hope for this country!!!
TV/MoviesRe: Game Of Thrones Season 7 Episode 6 Discussion (Terrible Spoilers!) by princesuko(m): 1:28am On Aug 17, 2017
TheKingIsHere:
Okay, so i watched the episode several times and i came up with Big flops in episode 6 that i noticed so far

Here we go;

1. When Jon killed one of the general during the fight at the mountain, we saw that all the other walkers die immediately except one? How come? Why didnt he just die like the rest? Or is it just a poor plot to hand jon a walker? what was a small army of walkers doing there away from the rest in the first place?

Most Suitable Explanation is that the General that got killed by Jon wasn't the one that Turned the Undead one they took captive.(If that Makes any sense)

2. Why exactly did dany carry 3 dragons to save Jon and his men when she took only 1 to war? If drogon was the only dragon she took, perharps we wont be mourning a dead dragon.

According to the tales Jon told her, she might have figured that was the best possible Solution. If she took only Drogon, NK would have killed him and we would have been mourning all our Characters.

3. Gendry running back to winterfell on foot within a short time shows that he is either faster than usian bolt or better still the flash or this is just clear bullsh*t. How come he ran so fast within that short period? was the distance not so far off?

He Ran off to the Wall not Winterfell, and there was clearly some time jump going on in that scene.

4. Why was the hound actually stoning the walkers? What was his aim or intentions? Did he intend to kill them with a rock or what?

He was being a cunt grin grin

5. For the NK to be able to throw the spear that high and far to hit vaeserion is just amazing.....definitely his hands and throw must be stronger than the big arrow bow bronn used against drogon dont you think?

The children of the forest created him using Magic and dragonglass, so there is a slight possibility he has Superhuman Powers, at the very least he is Stronger than Humans.

6. Uncle benjen's sudden appearance out of nowhere. Am still wondering where the heck did uncle benjen come out from? Where has he been all these while? Comm'on lets be realistic here.....Uncle benjen came from the exact same direction the white walkers came...How on earth did he survive out there in all those snow and no food? Where did he stay all these while and how did he know jon was in trouble....This is one of the biggest flop of this episodes..So many loop holes attached to uncle benjen's miraculous appearance.

7. Tormund survives despite the walkers were all on top of him but the other guy who nobody knows dies within an instant when the walkers were on top him....

8. The biggest floop of this episode was when the white walkers magically brought about 4-5 huge chains that are several miles long out of nowhere....Haba? What does the producers take us for biko? The annoying thing was that the dead walkers were able to pull out a huge dragon without any of them breaking while pulling the dragon out. this is the biggest flop of the episode...I was highly pissed when i saw this part.

The Chains were quite strong, they might have gotten them when they invaded the wildings Camp back in Season 6, Remember the wildlings had Chains when they intended to breach the walls

But overall the show was good but the producers should take it easy with the hog wash they are feeding us with...we aint dumb like sansa. tongue

Piss poor management of the club, who managed to convince fans of the club that all was well.

No one in this thread except me consistently saw this shït coming....but Princesuko,Barcablood and Jpmoriarti always argued with me that all was well.(Hope you three get hit by a summersaulting truck)

Goodluck with all the EPL fans/Madrid fans(especially Nihilist) who are gonna have a feast with you lots.Because if we are being honest,I was the only one who wasn't a slowpoke here.(Yes,majority of you are quite stupid)

It's being your boy Byke.

And I'm out.
How Nice of You to start Changing Ringtone, I don't remember you singing this song back in 2015 about Rakitic. When I said Paulinho is better than What we currently have, You argued otherwise(Which Says a lot actually). Rakitic kept Misplacing passes and he is damn slow at least with Paulinho we have someone who is a ball winner and quite a Technical Player.

You foresaw nothing of note, You were part of the bandwagon calling for the head of Enrique, now that he is gone we are actually worse off.

Valverde takes the blame here, how can you try a new tactic against the best team in the World, it felt like the Players were Sulking.

What was it You Foresaw again? You Seem to Change Prophecies quite a lot. You were in the Sell Neymar team, then you changed it to You only said we should Sell Neymar then get a Controlling Midfielder.(Which controlling midfielder is available now? factor that with Suarez decline) You are Everything in this thread but a seer, You are tactically Blind actually and a glory hunter too.

Oh sure...29year old Rakitic has lost his legs...Let us replace him with a 29year old Tottenham flop Paulinho...makes perfect sense.

A controlling midfielder would win us the league.

The only reputation I have here is the reputation of being always right.

If anyone is reasoning illogically..It's you.

I advocated for Neymar's sale with the hopes of us getting a controlling midfielder.

Yesterday we saw a team without MSN and without a controlling midfielder.

The individual quality upfront is not there anymore to fix that hole, and Paulinho certainly isn't a fix.
Matic, Vidal, and Messi are around the same age as Paulinho, they haven't declined rapidly like Rakitic is currently doing, so your first point is gibberish at best since players don't decline physically at the same Age. Last time I checked Paulinho has been very Good for the Brazil NT.

Selling Neymar and Getting a Controlling Midfielder of Barca's quality? Tell me which Controlling Midfielder Suits that Narrative and is Currently on the Market.

Stop jumping to Conclusions, No one is trying to Justify Paulinho's signing, Hell even the Board can't unveil him until they complete the signing of Coutinho and Dembele. The only Consolation is he is better than what we have presently.

Rakitic is what?..Sergi Roberto is what?

Did last season teach you nothing at all...Jesus Christ. lipsrsealed

The same idiot who was defending Luis Enrique last season is the same person trying to justify Paulinho's signing...Why can't you be normal for once?I pray for Allah to give me five minutes in the octagon with you...Cünt.
Like we saw yesterday, Rakitic has lost his legs, Sergi Roberto and Paulinho aren't in the same league and they aren't even identical Player.

You are quite deluded if you think a Midfield of Rakitic and Roberto will win us the League.

If I Remember Clearly you were one of those Glory Hunters(Self Acclaimed Saints) that were championing for Neymar to be Shipped out because he was a snake grin, you do have a disgusting reputation for illogical Reasoning.

Shameful. One of the most pivotal points in Barca history where the team is aged up and you decide to buy another old player. Makes 0 sense
Or we Could look at it this way At 29, we are getting a player at his Peak.

since you brought it up which Attainable Young Ball winning midfielder would you suggest?
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Fc Barcelona Fan Thread: "més Que Un Club" by princesuko(m): 1:41pm On Aug 14, 2017
I miss the days when this thread had mature discussions, Not even one person has given a reason why they think Paulinho is a bad buy. So many glory hunters here.

Now whenever I come to this thread I either see Someone Rubbishing Barca and Worshiping Messi or Calling Neymar a Snake, Learn to View from Other peoples POV, it really Helps.

We need a Box to Box Mf in this team someone in the vein of Vidal and Kante, if any of Brazil's qualifiers are to go by then Paulinho is quite okay although the quoted price is gibberish.

Hoping to see something like this when the Season starts proper.

Ter Stegen
Vidal Pique Umtiti Alba
Busquets
Paulinho Countinho
Dembele Messi
Suarez.

What has Sampaoli achieved in Club football to make him the Ideal Coach for Barça?

This is not a Minor setback it's a dent on his CV that would take another year to repair, remains to be seen if it will be at Barça.
