NorthernshoreTS: Hello Pristine664 You don't need to travel down to Lagos to use the courier service, I want to assume there is a DHL or UPS office at your current location. Just go to the one closest to you and mail all documents to the VFS office in Lekki. In-person pick up of your passport will be from the VFS office not the courier company.
Best regards. Thank you very much. So after stamping I can just walk into the vsf office in Lekki without appointment to collect my stamped passport right? What documents do I need to present before collection? |

NorthernshoreTS: Hello Fam I want to provide some insight into passport submission after PPR.
For Lagos and Abuja Residents You may wish to book an appointment at VAC Lekki or Abuja to submit your passport in-person. Alternatively, you can go any nearest UPS or DHL and have them courier your passport to the VAC (this does NOT require an appointment).
For now, I STRONGLY advice against paying VFS to courier your passport back to you after your Visa has been stamped as there have been reports of delays in passport delivery by VFS. Go to the VAC and pick up your passport in-person
For Non Lagos and Abuja Residents I would advice you send your passport and accompanying documents via UPS or DHL to the VAC in either Lagos or Abuja. If you have all the time in the world before you have to travel then you can pay the courier fee to VFS so that your passport can be mailed back to you, however be aware that you may experience significant delay in getting your passport delivered back to you. Alternatively and this is a better option in my opinion, you can either travel down to the VAC location you submitted and pick up in-person or you fill the 3rd page of the consent form with the details of a friend or relation who resides in Lagos or Abuja depending on where u submitted, so that the person can pick up on your behalf.
Note if you wish to submit your passport to the VAC other than where you captured your Biometrics, you are required to pay a transmission fee (it was N9410 as of last week but I dont know if this has changed, so kindly confirm first)
I hope this helps someone and if anyone has a need for any clarification on the above matter, you may contact me directly.
Best regards. Thank you very much for this concise explanation. Just a little personal question... I did my biometrics in Lagos and I have decided to travel down to Lagos without appointment to submit at the UPS office close to vsf office. 1. Will I still address it (i.e send my documents) to Lagos Vsf office or directly to Abuja Vsf office from the UPS office close to Lagos office ? 2. After stamping if I decided to pick it up in person after sending through Courier, where exactly will I pick it up, at the courier office where I submitted or the main vsf office in Lagos? Thank you. |

Gentlesoul3268: Pristine I will advise you to submit in Lagos jejely in-person because Abuja will frustrate you eh Thank you for your concern sir. I really appreciate. I tried to book physical submission for Lagos office and I saw 2nd August. There is no way I can wait that long. Or do you think I should come to Lagos without appointment? |

Xixteen11: I’m asking again. Do I need to book appointment if I’m using UPS courier to send my passport to vfs office? Co-ask plsss In addition, for those of us that did biometrics in Lagos but want to submit passport to Abuja through Courier service, at what stage are we suppose to pay the extra fee? |

Chinnychappy90: Which vfs office did you have your biometrics done and which are you using for submission/collection? For collection , you don't need to book an appointment. I went and collected in person coz at the point of submission, I opted for in person collection. Could it be that your email was started wrongly? Maybe you should gibe them more time. Please I'm about submitting my passport to vsf Abuja and I'm presently in Benin. Is it possible for me to send it via courier and opt to collect it in person at the Abuja office? |

Chechem: Please house, Who has gone through the passport submission and collection by a courier service. Does it take time before the passport gets to one? I was sent a mail on the 22nd of June, that my passport has been sent out but I wasn't sent any tracking ID nor have the courier service contacted me.
I chatted with vfs today and they maintained the passport has been sent out but the Abuja team hasn't sent tracking ID to them to forward to me. Does it mean they sent it without a tracking ID and why haven't it gotten to me after 8 days...?
Please whoever knows how to process works should please help me explain. Thanks Have you gotten your passport yet? Please which courier service did you use? Can I use DHL to send my passport or it must be UPS?? |

Do we have anybody in Canada here?
I will like to know the CEX that is still working well in Canada and allow KYC.
I heard virtually all CEXex have packed up including Binance and Kucoin due to recent government policy.

Please I'm having issues on how to start the SOWP application for my wife.
Can I just add it as new application and choose "Work permit" instead of "study permit" I chose during my own application?
(I'm referring to the new portal that I used for my own application).... |

Many people was disfranchised and wounded on that day. You didn't see it?. Tame your emotions. This is investment thread. Election has been won and lost. Leave those in politics thread to analyze the fairness of the last election. Some people will argue that voters' suppression and intimidation happened in all the candidates' strongholds and the presidential candidate with more strongholds across the country won. And I won't say they are wrong. |

CoinJet: Hw To Identify a Scammer on this Forum:
* He talks alot about price movement, but he's not making money from it.
* He doesn't place stop at entry whenever he enters a position.
* He hate trading futures, but parades himself as a guru that want to mentor us. * He has never & will never show us his win rates, becus they are very low.
The worst thing that can ever happen to a trader or an investor is to be a newbie, but yet he parades himself as a guru ( u are not deceiving newbies, but u are deceiving your ownself).
Newbies lookout for them & ignore them. Another scammer. |
