Food › Re: See The Bread I Bought For N1400 by Procashtips(m):
GentleLaw:
Since bread became a problem to eat due to high price, I withdrew myself from it but this morning because I had some visitors I decided to buy bread so we could take tea together.

Guess what? 3 of us couldn't even cut it twice and the nylon was empty.

This size of loaf of bread was never more than N200 became APC came to power and 9 years on, it's now N1400. You can now calculate how many percentage APC governments have added hardship to Nigerians.

Well, let's continue to advocate based on tribal and religious lines. We are all suffering it.

Bye bye again to bread till further notice.
Next time, enter a mail or a big supermarket with bakery, you'd get freshly baked bread with full nutrients at a lesser amount.

The thickness of the one I bought on my way from Church on Sunday at ShopRite can make 2 of what the OP posted.

⚡Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko said last month via Belarusian Telegraph Agency, BelTA., that World Bank and IMF offered him a bribe of $940 million USD in the form of “Covid Relief Aid.” In exchange for $940 million USD, the World Bank and IMF demanded that the President of Belarus:

• imposed “extreme lockdown on his people”
• force them to wear face masks
• impose very strict curfews
• impose a police state
• crash the economy
Still wondering what they achieved with the COVID debacle all over the world.

China began to flood the world with its products again, which could trigger a new "Chinese shock" in the international market - WSJ

In the late 1990s and early 2000s, the US and the global economy already experienced a "Chinese shock," a boom in the import of cheap, often low-quality Chinese-made goods, which helped keep inflation low but at the expense of domestic production.

Beijing is actively increasing the production of automobiles, machinery, and household appliances. Now, goods from China are not only comparable in quality but often superior to those made in the USA. For instance, Tesla experiences the lowest rate of defects at its factory in China, and this wave of imports could trigger a new "Chinese shock."

This is still a gov coin.

IMO, nigeria isnt economically developed for $26 billion transaction through one crypto agency. Dont forget china banned btc in 2021 or so.

Decentralized crypto currency is a threat to governments arround world cus it means that governments can no longer control the money. I dont think any government would want that not to speak of a country whose currency is on a nose dive against the dollar.
So it's crypto that made your currency fall from ₦1 to $1.5 in the 60s to ₦1600+ to $1 now?

Make Una dey run in circles grin grin grin grin.

It's not a threat to countries around the world (some already adopted it as official legal tender).

It's only a threat to countries that do not condole what they can't control. Countries against financial freedom.

China banned crypto not because it will make their currency fall (They by themselves devalues their own currency for economic reasons). They did so because China loves to control what their citizens consume.

Do you want communism the Chinese style?

That's what a federated system should be but it won't work here. Too much power at the centre, reason a state commissioner of police is more loyal to his IG who is loyal to the president. No president would want to relinquish such power.
My post is talking about removing that "too much power" from the centre.

The president have no say in this constitution wise but then we have paper legislators mostly handpicked by him.

"Are we really going to put someone who likes to eat Russians for breakfast in such a position?"

Politico writes about discussions about the possibility of appointing Kaja Kallas as head of European diplomacy following the resignation of Josep Borrell. Her chances are slim.

Brussels has been discussing the candidacy of the Estonian prime minister, known for her anti-Russian stance, for months. An EU official, speaking on condition of anonymity, told the newspaper that France and Germany were unlikely to agree "for the same reasons she [Kallas] was not suitable for the NATO job".

Kallas was previously put on a wanted list in Russia over the destruction of monuments to Soviet soldiers in Estonia.

lol. That one go cause up to 80% loss in (laundered and stolen) revenue for the men on top, they will never agree to that. I think it was one of the tenents of the ABURI accord. But the north rejected it because, they believed that they could not compete economically with the better educated SW, SE and SS regions. So they used violence to scatter everything... Today they still are the least economically competetive region and they are the worst victims of the corruption and insecurity due to the incompetence of the Fedral government.
The North or whoever rejected such aren't the main people but the elites from various regions.

The real masses want to be closer to their leadership/government.

I wish Nigeria can also break into regions with the centre acting like an umpire to the regions, we'll surely develop very fast.

Nigerians are very competitive and with the tribal hatred we sometimes witness, it's even for each region to want to outperform each other just to boast or mock the others

With the above, development is going to be extremely fast!

We can see how an ethnic group love to use Lagos to "pepper" another tribe when talking about development grin

1. NATO is led by USA. NATO's top-level actions and activities are decided in Washington. Criticizing the actions and decisions of NATO is akin to criticizing USA government decisions.

2. BRICS is totally different from NATO. Economic alliance does not function and operate the same way as military alliance. BRICS is more like EU than NATO.

3. Again, to my main point. Citizens are free to criticize their governments in USA, but they dare not in Russia and China. USA might get some things wrong but freedom of speech is something they should be praised for. That's my point.

4. My other point is that we can only have a character like Elon Musk in America, not USA or China or anywhere else in the world. Check the billionaires who rose too high in Russia and China and see how Putin and Xi dealt with them. Jack Ma comes to mind. Hate them (USA) or love them, their citizens are free to rise as high as they could and enjoy freedom of speech. That's why Elon could rise that high and could criticize his government decisions without fear of repercussions.
Yea, you know this that citizens can't criticize govt freely in Russia because the western Media told you so right?

The so called opposition in Russia in which the US sponsor doesn't count as an opposition, more like a mole with a Russian ancestry.

We can see the cancel culture going on in the US and the west + how they shut and totally blacklist whoever goes against their preplanned narratives all over the west. (not just in the US).

Jack Ma still talk up till today, but a serious country won't let anyone with a western interest come brainwash people with some silly narratives.

Majority in the West (especially the US) live in a bubble, so most don't know jack about the true picture of things.

There's no freedom anywhere on earth, you can deceive yourself if you want to.

Lastly, Musk is not a politician and he's also a billionaire, the dead American mole with a Russian ancestry you compared him with isn't any of the two.

Musk is not known to incite the public against the US govt nor is he known to want to start a rebellion backed by enemy states.

So why compare mangoes with African star peas?

Isn't America great!

A citizen can criticize the government openly without fear of imprisonment, torture and death.

Dem no born any Navalny to say what Musk says freely!

If Elon Musk had been born a Russian, he would never be the Elon Musk we know today.

Freedom is taken for granted till you lose it. Then you will appreciate it very much above anything.
So NATO = US?

It's like saying talking against BRICS in Russia, China or India will land you in jail.

It's just an organisation in which the US is a member or am I wrong?

🇫🇷French European Affairs Minister Jean-Noël Barrot - that the "bedbug psychosis" spreading in France in the autumn of 2023 was "artificially intensified" by Russia:

[You said that] there is, I don't know what to call it, a destabilisation campaign led by Russia, by Vladimir Putin, against our interests and also against our country. First of all, can you tell us, is it proven that this operation exists, that it is initiated by the Kremlin and directly directed against us]? This is exactly what has been happening since the beginning of the war in Ukraine. The bedbug controversy was artificially inflated on social media by accounts that turned out to be of Russian origin or inspired by Russia, even creating a false link between the arrival of Ukrainian refugees and the spread of bedbugs. [You're telling us about the bedbug psychosis, did the Kremlin organise that?] Yes, it's largely amplified by Kremlin-linked accounts....
So Russia can now control bedbugs and insects?

Wow.. Russia the almighty....

What won't they blame on Russia?
