Divided the land among the various groups living there so who decided that was the map.
4. By 1947, the land was already 30% Jewish.

5. The land was divided by the UN. Israel wanted it all just like the Palestinians but Israel agreed to the UN resolution. Palestine took a gamble, joint forces with the Arab world and went to war to claim the entire land.
Now they lost their gamble, why should any land be given back to them?

The UN divided it but the Arabs refused because they wanted it all and went to war. They ended up losing all the land. That's how simple it is.
