PoliticsRe: National Assembly Elections, Saturday 9th April, 2011 by prodam(m): 10:33pm On Apr 10, 2011
now we have a president that is human, he sometimes shivers when he is tense, we see him like one of us, he is a full civilian, he is from a humble background, he takes time to explain everything he does, some people might say he is week- but i think it is a good thing as well, because he can be challenged when he tries to go astray. I wonder while some people are still clamouring for a retired general, that has no heart, that is wicked, pretending, whom once given the mandate will become a dictator, who no one can challenge, whose descision alone will be final, who will single handedly pick his succesor. Remember, Once a thief is also a thief, once a general is also a general, it is in the blood and in the psycology.BUhari is pretending to be soft to gain sympathy. Do not becasue of change vote for the wrong person, look at the UK today, they are crying and wishing they had left the labour party, becasue of change they went for the torres. I need change myself, but is Buhari the change we need? I willl say no, he belongs to the gang we want out, The change Is GEJ, we have it in front of us and we do not know what we have, if for any reason GEJ fails to win, then we will be back to square 1 in Nigeria. Think properly my fellow Nigerians, and Vote wisely. Vote for anybody but certainly not BUhari.
no concrete basis found, pls be more realistic or better still political instead of being emotional or personal
PoliticsRe: Reactions After Nass Election, Expectations And Consequences by prodam(op): 10:28pm On Apr 10, 2011
Observations:
ACN has shown that a strategic approach to politics is more effective than the "anywhere-belle-face" approach of the CPC. Grin
PDP has a strong voice in every nook and cranny of the country and it seems to have tightened its hold everywhere apart from the SW.
CPC is riding on the name "Buhari".
ANPP is losing some of its significance to CPC

Effect:
ACN will show very strong presence in the governorship/state elections.
PDP will have sure victory at the first ballot.
When CPC loses the presidential election, they run the risk of collapsing and ANPP may likely fight back hard during the governorship election.

ACN seems to be the hope of opposition in 2015. If opposition parties can come together and look for "near flawless" candidates, they will have a chance. However, PDP will definitely come back strong with a candidate that is easy to sell.
tru yarn

additionally, the action congress is on the road to replacing PDP in Nigeria, wins all senatorial seats in osun
PoliticsRe: National Assembly Elections, Saturday 9th April, 2011 by prodam(m): 10:20pm On Apr 10, 2011
according to punch online today:
He asked the corps members not to be deterred by the incident but rather to consider it as one of the hazards of rendering service to the country.

The President said security officials and journalists face similar kind of risks, while serving their country appealing to the youth corps members not to pull out of the exercise because of the incident.
that was the president of Nigeria, an aspirant and a person leading about 150 million people with mostly the youths

this is wrong, instead of them to be ashamed of low security and try to secure other corps,
for we preparing to be corpers  so we should see serving the nation as an uncertain return,

what are we saying and where are we going, vote for credibility, we need new people

despite fact that PDP has been meeting their waterloo after the last elections, imo state returns a PDP rep for the third time

IMO is the worst state so far, i dont think they are ready for change

i think we should cut this thread as its topic or tittle can no more accommodate the present issues
we have gotten a considerable amount of results, the next is what? what will happen in these states where a change in power has occures
visit this thread  https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria/topic-643547.0.html#msg8096856to discuss consequences and expectations after the election
PoliticsReactions After Nass Election, Expectations And Consequences by prodam(op): 10:07pm On Apr 10, 2011
what has happened has happened, we need to move forward and look forward to the next election
while we chill for the next election, lets examine the consequences of the new reps, the political consequences, ranging from the peoples welfares, to instability in the areas.
we also need to chart a way for a progressive means of achieving their goals

many changes and shift of power has eventually happened and this is a great topic to be discussed

If you read the post I was responding to and compare it with your post especially the part in bold, you would realise that it is your brain that is faulty except of course you just woke up from sleep. How can you take a post responding to another post out of the context of the post it was responding to and think you can make sense. I suggest you go back to the kaikai you were drinking.
I don't want to go into a tango with you for the sake of my sanity but I don't know why you can't let us rest with your PDP victory celebration in an election they have lost many seats but did not gain any from anybody I heard so far but managed to keep few among something they alredy got, in a election they hve the spending power of 9-1 against others.
When you have 100 Naira and someone took 1 from you, let alone 25+ Naira from you,  how does that translate as a victory?
STOP THESE TUSSLE, AND LETS TALK WAYFORWARD AND ELECTIONS MATTER,
acn traps OYO state: a pleasant and auspicious event

ANPP wins zamfara central senatorial district followed by PDP, CPC was invisible, so much 4 NW strong hold. PDP wins zamfara north senatorial district, while the Zamfara west is yet 2 be declared. The CPC did not have a good showing.
it is  normal, CPC is a newbie in the business, they have really tried, more to come for them

i believe strongly in INEC, infact the election is credible enough for the likes of oyinlola, bankole to accept defeat,
they have not seen anything yet, it is when pdp has only less than 5 states that is when they will know that the time for revolution has come

we are the cause of our problems, if we were to make a research about this killings it will definitely be that:
they are done by Nigerians
by young ones, the youth and other support groups who are decieved by the agenda of a candidate
PoliticsRe: Buhari To Jonathan: I Have Never Stolen Public Funds by prodam(m): 12:46pm On Apr 09, 2011
my opinion goes thus: Buhari as a person has a good personality but the people sorrounding him has however made him to be a political object.
his party is also another problematic factor because in some states the aspirants of this parties are corrupt people, example is in kwara state here where sen. gbemisola saraki is also running for governor on the platform of cpc,
ALL THE SAME, AMONG THE CANDIDATES BUHARI IS BEST,

RomanceRe: Does Toasting Still Work These Days? by prodam(m): 1:32pm On Jul 27, 2010
"Toasting" is mere lip service without cash.

Money for hand, back for ground.

When you talk to a babe, talk with "toasting enhancement treatment" methods.
You must have the gift of gab.

Again, you need to know the most psychological moment to chat a babe.

In Lagos, Anthony Village babes are the most recommended.
They are down to earth and sweet too.

The cool environment of Genesis Deluxe Cinemas is also conducive to "toasting" babes.
Just have some cash in your pocket for pop corn and a romantic movie like Jim Field's She's Out of My League.
lol

I MAY BE ABLE TO HELP YOU BUT FIRST YOU MUST HELP YOURSELF BY ANSWERING THESE. . .

WHY DO YOU WANT TO LEARN PROGRAMMING?

WHY MUST YOU USE JAVA( ANY SPECIAL REASON OR IMMPRESSION ABOUT THE LANGUAGE?)

WHICH IS HEAVIER? A POUND OF FEATHERS OR A POUND OF GOLD AND WHY(THINK ABOUT IT BEFORE YOU ANSWER!)

WHAT LANGUAGE DOES THE PC UNDERSTAND?

FORGIVE ME IF THE QUESTIONS SOUND UNRELATED TO YOU, BUT AS I SAID, IF YOU NEED MY HELP, I WILL NEED THESE ANSWERS!
1. want to learn because hav got that predilection for programming after being taken through c, java, BASIC, fortran90 and assembly language
and fealt i was outstanding and could create new things on my own
2. yea, cos of the packages built in it, so make application easier, for large programming projects its better since it is object oriented
and more of friendly lang
3. pound of gold, definitely a pound is about 200kg, obviously pounds are not used to measure non-metals, feathers?
4. machine language
