Hi Guys, Thanks for saving me from those scammers. Officially began my PR journey by gathering materials for IELTS. I plan to write this by October because I have to prepare well based on what I have seen on this thread. Wish me well and link me up with any tips outside this forum, I have practically read everything about IELTS from Nairaland. |
Thanks guys - justwise, codeworks, et al For the benefit of others, please be careful of people hastening you to submit documents or fees: I was almost scammed mehn because the format was on point, well spoken young man over the phone telling me they don't need my money and it just that their partners abroad need to act fast so I should submit my documents. Let me just focus on my PR jeje, doing it myself. Regards. |
Good day peeps, I really appreciate your effort, and I have read through the pages and still gathering my information. While trying to get documents together to apply for this PR thing: Someone sent me a mail he got from a Canada-based immigration consultants where they claim to have slots for work permits and visas. This package comes with job offers from employers that will sponsor the visa+permit and thereafter collect the fees back from your monthly salaries based on certain percentages ( First 3 - 4 Months). Kindly advise if this is obtainable. Please help me as it involves a processing fee of 50k for the agreement and documentations. zandora, dupyshoo, Ehrnie, MummyJaygirls, justwise, welf99 I count on your experience. Thank you again |
What next? |

Stay Focused! |
Hi mbl321, First of all, don't leave your company during your "bad days", get your focus back and earn back your reputation. Secondly, It is right to say Accounting is your passion or perhaps where your interest lies. If this is true, then getting a good job, or being financially successful should not be your priority because you have got a paying job which is also related to your passion ( that's a great one if you ask me) Trust me many people in this part of the world are doing jobs completely different from they really wanna do just because it's settling the bills. If your current job still relieve you of your financial obligations, remain there, if not, look at joining another firm still in sales. Then please rise in the career ladder, you are closer to the top than the bottom. Do your accounting knowledge journey by the side. Get necessary certifications and stay abreast with the industry. This is the time to go the extra mile, time to multi-task massively. All the knowledge and even cert become handy when you get to senior management positions. I wish you all the best sir. |

lexiconkabir:That is not our headache here. Alfa is not necessary ,Ok, but this particular Alfa was already invited, that's what I am saying. So it is given that he's gonna moderate the session. The topic is not even centered on whether Alfa in Nikkah is necessary or not. The discussion is about Alfa asking the bride to kneel down in front of her husband which she refused. If you say, Yes what the bride did was the right thing with your references, thats fine. But talking about necessity of Alfa is out of scope and signals something else. You will agree me that Nikkah Process is a broad topic on it's own. Salam Alaykum |
To some brothers saying is Alfa necessary? Did he invite himself. Everyone of us including the party of the couple who invited him are aware that he will be the one to conduct that session of the event. So why the hypocritical and vain expression. |
Quitting your job should be the last resort after exploring all available options. Have you talked to anyone about this? Your direct boss -> HOD -> Head of Division -> Director -> Company Head From what you explained, this means you have got extra time for self development and activities. You will be able to run private practice. You can coordinate and manage IT projects outside your firm. This is no issue since your firm is actually into a different industry - telecommunication. If all these do not work, do your research, apply to companies that offer what you want, get the job offer, then move on politely. Regards |
As a matter of fact, currently over 100m Nigerians living below poverty line , this makes up about 46% of Nigerians. The situation has been made worse by current administration. However, there is always a life saver and that is helping ourselves with the little we possess. According to Bill," Demographically, Africa is the world’s youngest continent, and its youth can be the source of a special dynamism". I really do believe in this and explains why I have chosen this path of devoting my time to youth empowerment. I have discovered that many of us really want to own a very big conglomerate emanating from that fantastic idea that we have inside of us. However, at most times, fund is the main reason these dreams are killed. There are many solutions to funding problem such as getting a loan, pitching to venture capitalists, getting sponsors via competitions organized by the Government such as AsoVilla. Most of these methods seem not enough to cater for the large volume of ideas ready to be taken to the next level. This brings us to the next question which is what is the alternative and perhaps a more practical way. The answer to this is the whole essence of this post, continue reading. Small businesses make up over 70% of business that run the economy in Nigeria and most people who own big businesses started with other small businesses completely different from what they are currently operating. This is usually done to raise funds, create awareness, test the ground, and also to develop practical business skills. I have done a few small businesses and still working on some too, I will give straight information about Barbing Salon and Keke Napep with pictures. I also created a new whatsapp group for small businesses for a few real persons who need information on doing real life businesses. Barbing. Barbing is very lucrative, I wont say more than this for now. I have pictures on my blog. I will only entertain your questions here. Please ask all questions about barbing and next will be Keke Napep. Source: http://naijayouthonpoint..com.ng/2016/11/small-businesses-done-successfully.html |
Good, that's fine. The tweeter user could likely be pointing out the essence of passion and how people should not hesitate to switch career no matter how long they've studied or any other societal factor in order to do what they really love to do. |
