When am talking about having a snake as a pet, am not talking about papa or mama snakes lolz. I need at least, a few days old snake. Through there, i can create a bond with the snake and we will become great friends. Some of my friends on Facebook has snakes as pet and is very huge and old, like 8 years old. All u need is gain the trust of the noble animal and you are good to go. I know of a Facebook page where i can order snake and it will be ship here in Nigeria but i have problem with trust. Still waiting for the God sent...

You don't get it, snakes are aggressive towards us because we don't care for them, the only thoughts that comes to our mind when we see snake is to kill it. Snakes are wonderful creatures that can be tamed. It depends on your commitment and the type of snake, snakes can be your companion and friend. All you need is care, and feed them. Snakes are also playful. They are fun to play with.

i dont deny that people dont have obsession for snakes, i do too. i once monitored a snake in my area. took snapshots, made sure neighbours didnt kill it...called a friend that has a snake to know what i can do...but that wont make me adopt a snake in my home.

the bottomline is, if youre not a zoologist, or know everything about them, just kill d fvcker and move on!

@legsup, jethro isnt the first person that has questioned your figures , i dont know why you took hers personal. Soladel, the cassava technology transfer expert from iita once did. I recall she told you post sales figures takes up to 30% of cassava production. Another cassava farmer also did and your argument then.was that the cost varies from location to location . Jethro's point was that we should look b4 we leap and that if you want to go into cassava, you should think processing along wit it cos of the occasional gluts. It isnt as if she didnt sign agreement with a processor but they changed their minds and were pricing it ridiculously low and hence she decided to wait before she sells. Though i dont know jethro nor even heard her voice, but i have followed her posts and know she has farmed a wide range of crops and from her experience, cassava wasnt as good as the others she tried and she sounded warning to others.

Ive have spoken to legsup on phone b4 now and he sounds good but i must say here dt u gave the first blow by quoting her and attacking her goods (Except there has been an issue b4 now btw you two) .

Actually i disagree with you. The vet saved this Lhasa's life by prescribing atropine- which in is an antidote to poisonous substances and chemicals, in case you did not know.

The problem with most dog owners in Nigeria is that they buy dog products without consulting their vets. That's not advisable and it isn't practiced in civilized societies.

As a responsible dog owner you should always ask for your vet's input before buying or changing to a new product. Dogs like humans have allergies depending on their idiosyncrasies, a vet that has been handling your dogs for a while should/would be familiar with each dog's peculiarity and might just be able to help you make an informed decision thereby saving your pet's life.
