kaz4sure2015:meet a competent AC technician to vacuum check and use Leak test ink to find out the exact location of the leak and fix accordingly. Please always vacuum before applying refrigerant. Vacuuming removes all the air in the system. Compressed air forms moisture which can corrode the internal parts of your AC system. |

What if I told you that I am willing to pay you $1 tomorrow and all you need to do is get up and meet me at 4AM. What will you do? You wont bother to set an alarm for the next morning; you will probably pull the blanket over your head and enjoy a blissful sleep. What if I raised the ante and offered to pay $20? You may set an alarm now, but you may still hit that snooze button and go back to sleep. When you wake up, you will probably blame your actions on lack of self discipline. What if the money offered was $3Mn. Would you still keep on sleeping? Well depending on how rich you are and how lazy you are, you still might! However, the fact that I am trying to put across is that as the money offered increases your propensity towards laziness or your lack of self discipline decreases. The crux of the matter is that your lack of self discipline is actually lack of motivation and your lack of motivation is primarily due to one of the three things the lack of a tangible, achievable goal lack of a routine Hopelessness that results from the realisation that the goals you set for yourself are too big to achieve Now that we have diagnosed the problem, lets work on the solution. Here is what you need to do. Put out all the lights in your room and close your eyes. Take 5 deep breaths and with every breath relax your body. Imagine that you are dead and all the important people in your life have gathered over supper to celebrate your life. Who are these people? They are the ones that matter the most. Maybe its your wife, or your siblings or friends or relatives or stock holders of the firm that you wanted to create when you were young, or maybe there is no one there, and all you have are the echoes of the dreams that you once dreamed, the voices that you stifled, the ghost of the person that you could have been… Now, go around the table and imagine what each of these guests will say to you. What kind of a man were you? What kind of life did you live? Did you manage to become what you thought you could be? Looking at life with a birds’ eye view, will give you a much needed perspective on life. Warren Buffet once said “ask how you will want to feel when your are 70 and then reverse engineer your life”. This exercise may seem ridiculous to you or maybe just cheesy, but it gives you an idea about your life goals. You will keep refining these goals as you progress in your life. Your life will meander through situations that the world throws at you but these goals will give you a vector that defines the overall direction of your life and as long as you don't lose a sight of these you can be certain that you are moving in the general right direction. Now, in order to achieve your life goals, it makes a lot of sense to keep the meanderings that I mentioned in the earlier paragraph at a minimum. So, how do you do it? You define your yearly, monthly and daily goals which are in sync with your life goals. These goals need to be challenging and they need to be something that you care about. You make them specific, measurable, attainable, realistic and time bound. You write them down on a piece of paper and whisper them to yourself before going to sleep. Every day you review them and give yourself feedback. Constant feedback and subsequent error correction are the most important in your life. As for the lack of routine, you need to keep a few things in mind. It usually takes about 66 days to form a habit. After this, it becomes easier to do the task than to not do it. So, your perseverance is only needed for the 1st 66 days. In military, cadets are asked to make their beds as soon as they wake up in the morning. This small habit, builds a little confidence. This confidence is then used to perform a slightly more difficult task, which in turn builds up more confidence and this continues all throughout the day. You too need to start by doing a small task and then build on it. Lastly, whenever you feel hopeless or scared by the sheer magnitude of your goals, remember this person’s golden words. “That is how you devour a whale—one bit at a time” [House of Cards] Break your big hairy goals down, and as you begin to do that, you will realise that they will stop looking scary and will start looking more achievable. And most of all remember, “ Happiness can be found, even in the darkest of times, if one only remembers to turn on the light." — Albus Dumbledore [Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, movie copied and pasted from https://www.quora.com/?digest_story=30729736 |
