Farooq Kperogi PhD, the man that makes PhD holders proud. Abacha was a northerner and it's normal for his people to defend him, afterall, Nigeria is "our own". Abacha did well in governance anyway, if he was alive, nobody would have discovered all these loots, even if you discovered it, can you look Abacha in the eyes and tell him he's a thief? Every sane mind knows that there would be a sudden change in Nigeria pretty soon which may come in the form of Balkanization or restructuring. |

I am pointing out the reason why someone will have the effontery to publicly ask a government aide to intervene. Something is fundamentally wrong with the entire structure. Having a Criminal and Penal Code that run contrary in a single country is absurd. Exactly what I wanna hear, have you worked in any government establishment before? You would see that this is the typical behavior of northerners. They always feel way superior to others and feel that with their numerous connection, no amount of crime committed by them should be questioned. I'm not being emotional in my response in any way, I'm just putting myself in the shoes of the girl's family. |

PeacenLove2: As much as I frown at pedophilia, let's not forget that for Yunusa to be punished, he should have committed a crime. Is it a crime in the North where Yunusa is from? It looks like Yunusa is a victim of media trial because he is being punished for what his counterparts do all the time. You can see from the twit between the aid and the good Samaritan asking for his intervention, it looks like they don't recognize the act as a crime.
Now we can overlook this and say as long as Ese and his family gets justice, what about the other Eses especially the future ones? Will Yunusa's punishment be loud enough to send a message and deter others or is this just to pacify the media? How can we get the entire country to recognize pedophilia as a crime? We have a criminal and penal code in this country, it does not care about being a northerner or southerner but Nigerian. In Sharia law, it may not be a crime but why again the double standard in this country? Why can't Christian states or atheist governors infuse their own laws? As far as I'm concerned, Yunusa is guilty for kidnapping and raping a small girl. Is this how people marry in the North? I have many northern friends and they go to bride's family to seek for her hand in marriage even if she's 12 yrs old. Don't support Yunusa in any way, this is not a media trial because it has been handled by a competent court. Or are you now wiser than the judge that pronounced the sentence? |

Yenefer: will u piss on your mummies bed or couch. U never liked any Muslims that's a fact from Qur'an
Allaah has stated in His Book that the kuffaar bear enmity towards us and they would not spare any effort to cause us harm, and they wish us ill, and they will not be pleased until we follow their way. Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning):
“O you who believe! Take not as (your) Bitaanah (advisors, consultants, protectors, helpers, friends) those outside your religion (pagans, Jews, Christians, and hypocrites) since they will not fail to do their best to corrupt you. They desire to harm you severely. Hatred has already appeared from their mouths, but what their breasts conceal is far worse. Indeed We have made plain to you the Ayaat (proofs, evidences, verses) if you understand.
119. Lo! You are the ones who love them but they love you not, and you believe in all the Scriptures [i.e. you believe in the Tawraat (Torah) and the Injeel (Gospel), while they disbelieve in your Book, the Qur’aan]. And when they meet you, they say, ‘We believe.’ But when they are alone, they bite the tips of their fingers at you in rage. Say: ‘Perish in your rage. Certainly, Allaah knows what is in the breasts (all the secrets).’
120. If a good befalls you, it grieves them, but if some evil overtakes you, they rejoice at it. But if you remain patient and become Al-Muttaqoon (the pious — See V.2:2), not the least harm will their cunning do to you. Surely, Allaah surrounds all that they do”
[Aal ‘Imraan 3:118-120]
“Never will the Jews nor the Christians be pleased with you (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) till you follow their religion. Say: ‘Verily, the Guidance of Allaah (i.e. Islamic Monotheism) that is the (only) Guidance.’ And if you (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) were to follow their (Jews and Christians) desires after what you have received of Knowledge (i.e. the Qur’aan), then you would have against Allaah neither any Wali (protector or guardian) nor any helper”
[al-Baqarah 2:120]
Ibn Katheer (may Allaah have mercy on him) said: The words of Allaah, “Take not as (your) Bitaanah (advisors, consultants, protectors, helpers, friends) those outside your religion” mean people other than you, the followers of other religions. A man’s bitaanah (advisors, friends, etc) are his closest friends who know about his private affairs. Then he narrated the report of Ibn Abi Haatim with his isnaad from Ibn Abi’l-Dahqaanah, who said: It was said to ‘Umar ibn al-Khattaab (may Allaah be pleased with him): There is a slave from the people of Heerah who is literate; why don’t you employ him as a scribe? He said: Then I would have taken a bitaanah from people other than the believers. Ibn Katheer said: This report, along with this verse, indicates that it is not permissible to employ ahl al-dhimmah as scribes in a position of authority over the Muslims where they can become acquainted with their private affairs, where there is the fear that they may disclose them to enemies among ahl al-harb. Hence Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning): “since they will not fail to do their best to corrupt you. They desire to harm you severely”. All these moslems when would you learn that things are very different from the times of Mohammad? This is a very stupid assumption from Mohammad or anyone that wrote it, people are different and not everything should be tied to religion. |

It's okay, I worked with the federal ministry of labour and employment and resigned as an administrative officer level 09 to do better things with my life. I happened to work in the office of the honourable minister and I can tell you first hand that some ministers truly mean well for the country. The SGF no doubt supercedes the ministers but I think there's a good reason why the ministers are put in charge of ministries. The SGF throughout my stay in the ministry never set foot in my ministry so how can he then get first hand information about things than the minister? |

Hmmmm, this is a terrible way to run a country. The ministers were put there to get quick results in relatively short duration and most of them just want that. If they can't fire or threaten to fire those under them, then you've removed all the powers from them. I'm not saying that a free and fair trial shouldn't be observed but I'm sure that no minister would fire any CEO without extremely concrete evidence. Trials and hearings can take several months and these criminals would keep looting and enjoying our Common wealth |

Then going to your Bible
And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent. John:17:3
For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; 1 Timothy:2:5
And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord: And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment. Mark:12:29-30
Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD: Deuteronomy:6:4
May God give you guidance. If you die while not believing in ONE through GOD, you won't smell heaven! That's the first commandment... So go and read of Allah in Wikipedia of religion so that u won't continue to swim in ignorance. May God guide you! You talk like an extremist because you feel that only your views are valid. |
