Can Nothing create Something?

What many people, atheist and theist alike, don’t know, is that nothing is something - nothing is a universal energy called Zero Point Energy, the lowest of energies in the universe. It has been proved true by science that ZPE exists. Our concept of nothing is flawed, because we tend to believe that nothing does not contains anything, but the truth is that nothing contains everything, and assuming that in wherever there is void there is ZPE, there is something, and that something have lead to the creation and to the expansion of the universe.

Like many others have stated in their answers - gods need to come from something as well, leading to an infinite regression of gods and super gods and super-ultra gods and so forth. If gods are to create themselves, how can something create itself before it exists? It’s like being a mother that is the same as the baby she gives birth to. ZPE is an exception because ZPE fluctuates in and out of existence, unlike gods which are absolute, eternal and never changing.

I still tend to believe that spirituality and supernaturality is a product of a historical human ignorance, set loose by a great lack of scientific methods. Science, even if flawed, is still the best way to explain things, based on experimentation, research, learning from past mistakes and past inaccuracies, and coherent logical methodology.

The religious people argue, is it possible for the Earth to create itself? We atheists argue, is it possible for a force (God) to create itself? There is no definite way to answer this question except using the big bang theory, it has its flaws but we all know that religion always tells you to believe without questions which is a huge flaw in itself.

The one will 91 will be picked does that mean those with 90 failed? And their family will always be like NDA failed my son etc whereas someone who was picked just used one slim mark to pass me by. Thats the way it works and I do tell people just make 180 in jamb but in that NDA cram the compendium and make sure u blast it. A friend of mine used to be efikko. All this guru who will even correct teachers. We both sat for NDA exam the 4th time I tried. He had 302 in jamb and I had 189. But I had all the compendium on my brain. Well afsb list came out and I was topping my state in my faculty that year. Till today my friend won't believe I didnt know anyone to make that list coz he believed he was way pass me academically

Everyone as a time. Sure some as father's to push for them but for those who don't have n influential father or uncle, its bout u working hard. You see that NDA compendium? Any intending cadet who can lay his hands on it mater it intoto will make Afsb list. Thats the bitter truth. During my time, I took form October by December I hv finished the compendium 3-4 times. By the following year April when the exam was scheduled, once u ask me a question from the compendium, I can tell u all the years the question surfaced and gv u the answer offhand. That God by saying that little act was my dash away that year....


MY point is this, not everyone is born with a silver spoon but for those who aint having influential folks if you can pay the price with ur time, sleep etc and go that extra mile my dear academy is not just sure its over sure. And academy is merit to a good degree

Wow, didn't know all these earlier, although the guy I spoke about earlier always averaged 280 in his jamb and was a wizard at mathematics. He was the one who made me misjudge the whole process.

So coz the boys dream was shattered 5 times means everyone is designed to be that way. Well for that one boy u know I know as many as 20 coursemates and seniors of mine who at all all cost made it through. Wont expantiate. And for every time I get to speak to intending cadets here I dnt act the fact that it was the 4th time i tried NDA that I got it. An most officers and cadets you see in that academy didn't get it the first 2nd r even third time. Some even went to rewrite another Waec just to pursue that dream and truth is they achieved it later on.

Highly commendable, I was just pointing out how tedious it is to make it in.

12 people are taken yearly 6 army, 3 Navy and 3 airforce although this fluctuates, the number never changes. Now girls are taken which makes the competition extremely fierce. Do you know that over 100,000 students from each state write this exam and only 12 people are selected? Generals, ministers, senators, the president, governors, etc all have candidates

No, GNSS stands for global navigation satellite system and was developed by the US which is simply a constellation of 24+ satellites in orbit trying to give accurate location of the Earth using a GPS. The one for Russia is Glonass. The navigation satellite system is different from Earth observation satellite system such as landsat, Aster, Modis etc.

Geology is a good field. Remote sensing makes exploration easier for you guys and most geologists are doing their masters degree in this field.
Without going to the field, you can easily use landsat, ikonos, quickbird satellite imageries to tell the geospatial location and extent of minerals based on special hyperspectral band combinations. I also happen to be a remote sensing expert and I'm currently handling a research that uses landsat 8 data to extract land surface temperature to analyse the urban heat island phenomenon in Keffi, Nasarawa state.
