Hello I am a graduate in English and I have had over five years' experience in teaching, content management and office administration. I have had a few job offers in Abuja, but I could not take them because a can't afford accommodation there at present. Please if you are looking for a teacher, writer, editor, secretary, content manager or an administrator and you have accommodation, kindly reach out to me. I promise you won't regret it. |
Abiababe:This is true. The legal system is part of the reasons we are where we are today. We cannot even hold our leaders accountant. We are forced to accept everything and anything. |
I am usually not enthusiastic about government opportunities, not because I don't desire them, but because I came to the realisation that such opportunities do not exist for people like me, people who know no one that knows someone that is important. But somehow, when the Akwa Ibom state government announced the recruitment of secondary school teachers in the state, I fell for the governors promises and decided to go all out for it. I've always had respect for the governor and this made it easier for me to believe him. He had assured us that the recruitment would be by merit, and when the time for aptitude test came, we were assured that every candidate would get their result immediately after the exam. This made it seem as if they were serious about being transparent. I had job in Abuja, which wasn't so satisfying anyway. I resigned from my job, gathered the little money I had saved and paid my way back home, to Akwa Ibom, hoping for the best. True to their words, when I finished the test, the result came out immediately and I scored 90. I went back home rejoicing. This is the sad part. The final list for interview came out today, and names of people who scored as low as 70 were shortlisted, yet my name is not in the list. I feel really down right now. I feel wronged. I need justice. I've been thinking of legal steps I can take to make sure this injustice is addressed. Please I need your advice. Is there anything I can do? |
The process was not fair. |
lindsay:Everything you said here was true. I went to the same 'interview', or rather, seminar, at Sabin Tasha, Kaduna and everything you've said here repeated itself. They have the same method. The last guy that spoke is the same guy you've mentioned here. He came to tell us about his trips and in the end, requested for 35k. |
I returned to Kaduna state recently and have been looking for a teaching job in the state. But it seems no employer here is willing to pay above 30k. I've had a number of interviews and most times, all I asked for was just 50k but they told me it wasn't possible. And I've been wondering. Is it really impossible to get a teaching job in Kaduna that pays up to 50k? |
nnatobryno:You can send a message on whatsapp |
For the Dangote Cement Promo, I have been collecting the letters and now I have all of them except G. I am just one letter away from 1 million naira. If you have letter G, or you know someone who has it, please indicate so we arrange, collect the money and share it. |
Like the man in the picture, some people are just holding on to time waiting for when they'll expire. They sleep and lazy away their precious time instead of engaging in rewarding ventures. Time ,however does not wait for anyone. |
Cool |

zedegit:Yeah. I started last year. I'm done with my course work at ABU so I now have time to work. |
I need a school in Zaria. I'm a graduate of English with MA English in view. |
Ngasky:Thanks for the explanation. It seems we are getting it right on this one. I just wish we would be able to produce quality rice in a scale that would reach all Nigerians. What we eat here is more of stones than rice. |
Ngasky:If this is true, then it's good. |
allthingsgood:I asked a simple question because I want to know. You can answer my question or simply move on. To the best of my knowledge, there is no news here so I don't understand what you mean by spreading fake news. |
I'm just wondering, after the ban on the importation of foreign rice into the country, what kind of rice do the president and members of his cabinet eat? Foreign or local rice? If they still eat foreign rice, or use any of the items that have been banned, then we are hopeless as a nation. |
I've done it. Success! |

This Akpabio is very very inconclusive. |
That's an inconclusive goat from a conclusive election. We won't take it! |
ojun50: This is a typical example of cow English. |
