Contraceptive?? See me see truble oh.......i just googled it.all dis Doctors sef....God help me. I think I'm going to chnge my Doctor, if she's askin me to tke it from cd14 which is suposd to b during ovulation den,she obviously doesn't know what she's doing. All diis confusion....ders too much at stake.do i have to go all d way to abuja to gt a good doctor?

D lord will continue to strengthn you till d end of dis journey.....lyk mamatriplets said....don't loose focus yet, dnt be discouraged. Be strong...its always darkest jst befre d break of dawn.
I have Pcos so my Dr puts me on progesterone (Duphaston) he said it'l help d uterus receive d baby and make it stick..help implantation..his precise words. Usually use it from CD14 twice a day for 10 days......maybe dats what u need? U cn discuss it wit ur Dr.

@all i am with you.....even tho I'm sort of a silent reader.....i tke comfort in all say and pray along as well. I dint ovulate last circle even tho i had so much pain....so I'm using fertilaid now.....instead of clomid, hopefully it works. God bless us all and grant us our heart desires. Amen

My doctor asked me to increase the dosage......*sigh i hope so, i pray so....4? Loll 3 is just fine, it'l b good to hav more dan 1 mamatriplet .

No I'm nt temping.....the truth is i haven't really paid much attention to this circle just concentrated mor on d prayers....dint want to see or hear anythin negative.
I'm goin to be reasonably hopefull don't want to be disapointed. I'm letting God.
I will test in a couple of days.

Hi evry1, its been a while. Even though i haven't said much, I've been readin, laffing, crying and praying with you all.

I thank God for each aand evry1 of u, ur prayers, encouragements and words of wisdom are just precious.

I want to ask.....is it possible to feel ovulation pain for a prolonged period of time cos i don't understand my body. Used 150mg of clomid dis cycle....been havin menstrual lyk cramps since cd16....today is cd20.....and increase in temp. Sometyms it'l b sharp...den subside...Is it posible, should i b concerned. Actually I'm nt sure of wen i ovulate my two previous scans after 100mg of clomid showed i dint ovulate. I decided not to scan dis tym around i was too scared of wat d result myt be. My crcle is usually about 29 to 33 days.

Pls let me knw ur thuts.

@all scanned cd12 n cd14 n cd16..... Still Wasn't ovulating. Dis is my 2nd circle on clomid both 100mg...doctor says to increase it to 150mg next circle.my circle is 28 days so.........yea dats it.I really don't know wat I shuld b doing differently. Metformin,clomid,pregnacare and preseed. Dis is my 4th month on metformin already, I shuld b ovulating on my own by now. I just don't get why I'm not ovulating.I dnt want to b sad or depressed bt it is really hard.....*sigh .I still hav faith

@pink22 all is well maybe u shuld increase d clomid to 100mg instead.....last circle I used 100mg it dint work. Dis circle I used 100mg again....waiting to check on d follicles on monday.

My sisters I don't know what is up with my body o.......I've been having heartburn, indigestion, sore breast....n cramps dat come and go...my abdomen has been itching including my breast......I'm 5days late, dis is CD33......I did both blood and urine test...both came out negative. I'm confused......I'm due to see my doctor on wednesday........*sigh all d anxiety and tension is gettin to me

Dnt let fear replace faith....for God will only work according to your faith.

Ask and you will receive......it myt not b immediately....but trust in his plans for you and eventually.....it WILL happen, dat problem simply has no choice.
For those of us expecting and those pregnant..our prayers are already answered in Jesus name

@Echala, try not to worry too much, I know its hard but it is possible.....God did it for champs, Hebrew woman, Arlington, and so many other people here in this forum, God is still in the business of doing miracles so keep at it.
Maybe you can try fertilaid too...I've heard so much about it from people on this forum and evn people around me.

@all for those who want to try something new...instead of clomid, maybe fertilaid should be considered. Went on to thier website, the reviews/testimonials are veery convincing to say the least. Also learnt u can't take it with clomid... U have to use it alone and b ready to try fr 3 months..minimum... Some said it worked after trying it fr 3 weeks. Got their bfp

Why do u think its not working? What's the sieZe of the follicles now? For me I usually don't start growing follice with clomid until cd14 and it grows to maturity and ovulation on CD19. I think there's still hope. Your shd be running scan every 2days to monitor d growth.

@all just read somewhere its advisable to tke fertilaid only till ovulation, meaning one should stop during ovulation..den continue once you find you not pregnant..or there could be risk of a miscarraige.I don't know how tru, just read it on d net

I'm thinking of stopping pregnacare and starting fertilaid, to see if it'l help with ovulation.
Does anyone know Duphaston(dydrogesterone) I'm supposed to start taking dat on cd14 its supposed to replace the cyclo-progynova.....its meant to help in regulating my period.
Is the combination okay?...metformin, fertilade and duphaston?

So.......I jst left my doctor.I'm so depressed.....d scan I did showed the clomid is working but not 100% my eggs are still too small......so ll need to try clomid gain for d next circle. Today is cd12... *sigh

@profeseur, welcme dear. I too hve PCOS and am on Metformin but d highest dosage I've been on is 1500mg. Is thr any particular reason y ur Dr has u on such a high dose of Metformin? I wuld also suggest doin another HSG, jst to confirm if d flushing worked. The drug ur taking to regulate ur period, is it actually working? I knw Fertilaid is very gud wit regulating periods esp for women wit PCOS.
I can't comment on d high prolactin, dnt knw anythng abt dat. I guess smeone else can comment or suggest smethng to u.

@Hebrew woman. Thanks for your response, my doctor said 2000mg of metformin will make the process faster. Yes the drugs for my period worked became a 28days circle.
About The HSG .my doctor assured me it worked....she said wen the liquid doesn't come back out during the procedure den it worked? I don't knw how tru......hmmnnn...I'l try to do the HSG again if this circle doesn't work. So fingers crossed. I've also decided to try preseed this circle to help with the CM.

Here is my story.
I was diagnosed with PCOS 3 months ago. I've been married 8months now.I stay in Kaduna so it was a lil hard to find a good and reputable Doctr...

So far...I've used
Metformin 2000mg for 2 months,

Dostinex for high prolactin,

I've been using pregnacare for two months now,

I was also given cyclo-progynova to help regularize my period,

for this cycle I used clomid, today is cd10 so I should see my doctor in two days to check if the clomid is working and I'm suposed to start taking progesteron from Cd14.

And inbetween all that, I had an HSG done which showed both tubes were blocked....I did Hydrotubation to flush em out.I haven't done another to confirm if they opened or not, too painful an experience.
That's how far I've come so far
This is just to say what I've done so far for some of the ladies with PCOS lyk me.
I'm hoping this month I'l ovulate and the BD can make something happen.I pray God grants us all our heart desires.
