Is it the govt or ASUU that is the problem |
spenca: B.A, L.L.B, L.L.M ,SAN ,AGF , 75 years old blessed with childrenAmen |
it is ridiculous that government officials were quoted as saying ASUU’s N1.3 trillion demand is capable of shutting down the country. No. Their insatiable and rapacious greed will. The private jets in the presidential fleet can fly, centenary celebrations is a priority to government, there’s enough money to pay humongous salaries and allowances to federallegislators and other political office holders, enough to forfeit to oil subsidy thieves, enough to pay militants bogus amnesty cheques and phantom contracts while they continue to bunker our crude oil like never before, there’s enough money to beg Boko Haram to accept amnesty but there is no money for law abiding Nigerian students who want to eke out a living using university education as a stepping stone. It is this kind of attitude from the government that provokes the use of brute force by some regional groups to attract government’s attention to their problems..no money my foot |
Nigerian students dont keep quiet, its our future we are talking about here. I don't care about more jumbo pay for lecturers, because I hardly see most of them in lecture halls, my concern is infrastructure and students welfare. I have said it before Jonathan won't mind paying twice what ASUU is asking for just to get back in power come 2015 yet they treat us this way because there children go to harvard. I bet if ngozi okonjo's children where in OAU or Uniben she would be more serious...your fate is in your hands..All ye Nigerian students |
Pause for once all yea jona supporters...and compare the price of garri with previous years, |

Thought I should share.... GIVING COMPLIMENTS More than anything, a woman wants to be appreciated. Whether she is a self assured diva or a shy sweetheart. However be as sincere as possible PHONE CALLS Maybe you just called to say hello or inform her of a change of plans. try not to overdo it though, but trust me it stops her from wondering what you are upto. PRIORITIZE HER Most times its difficult to choose between spending time with your woman and football or playstation or even chilled star with friends but often than not make her your priority..when she notices this you will be the next best thing after point and kill There are two more I will be back with those later....enjoy |
As for me my school RSUst aint part of the strike...but some of my friends have started learning vocational trades some are completing projects while others are, having a field day at clubs.....wanted to know what you guys are up to |
From My Mother… Do choose your battles. Don’t force your spouse to take part in the activities that you enjoy. Sometimes you can go it alone! From My Sisters… Do cut out words like should or ought, as in “You should be a better listener.” That’s parental, not relational. Instead, simply ask for what you need. Don’t have a script for a happy marriage in your head—and don’t expect your spouse to magically follow it. From My Best Friend… Do recognize what your spouse brings to the relationship rather than focusing on what you wish he or she brought. Rejoice in the ways you and your spouse fit together; try to work around the ways you don’t. Don’t compare your relationship with others. From Pop Culture… Do watch reality-TV shows about online dating disasters, such as the MTV show Catfish, instead of acting them out in real life. Don’t forget that while a wedding can seem like a Broadway show with you in the starring role, a marriage is about forging a connection that endures long after the curtain falls. From My Marriage… Do come to some resolution to restore peace after a fight, even if it’s just saying, “I’m sorry.” Don’t lose sight of what attracted you to the other person in the first place. That part might be hidden, but it’s still there |
