naijapikin2:What manner of Wisdom is this? That was the theme several years ago |
Kaiser20:Reno Omokri is very sound. Osinbajo has no integrity. If he (Osinbajo) were to ride horse on Ojude Oba day at Ijebu Ode he will have no followers |
fergie001:When I was using my account (babaolofin) to post on nairaland I have spoken so deep both spiritually and physically about lack of integrity and foolishness and spirit of traitor and backstabbing that are the hallmarks of Osinbajo personality . We are from the same sub-ethnic group and the same area within the Ijebu of Ogun State. Unfortunately, it is not in our characters. It is only Egbas that have such personality. Osinbajo is an Idol to the IBOs because they are looking for support. Osinbajo was a nobody to the North. Sule Lamido, an elder statesman and political strategist few weeks ago said Buhari never wanted to handover to Osinbajo. He said Buhari choice was Lawan the former Senate President. Even without Sule Lamido's statement and without Lawan emergency as the consensus candidate, the North knows Osinbajo was never Buhari choice. The Ijebu Elites know Osinbajo was never Buhari choice. He was only being used to backstab Tinubu . I once told a nairaland member eriokanmi when I was using my account (babaolofin) that in the Spirit realm, APC logo is being represented by ACN logo and the hand that holds APC BROOM is Tinubu's hand. I saw a lot of people in the Presidency dragging the BROOM with Tinubu , I was trying to identify them. I was surprised to see Osinbajo on the side against Tinubu, I screamed and woke up from that dream. That was before Primary election in 2022. In that revelation, Osinbajo was the last person I can never imagined would be on the side against Tinubu, it was the shock that woke me up. A lot of people read it when I posted it. Where is Senator Ojudu today? He lost relevance both in Ekiti and at Abuja. All of them that have lost relevance are praying against Tinubu but they will be disappointed. In our place despite being a former Vice President, Osinbajo cannot win Local Government election not to talk of House of Reps. Soname (Betnaija) would beat him in any election. He has no integrity. |
nothingspoil70:Forget about Chinese investors when talking about conducive business environment. The Chinese are only in Ogun State to waste our time and dupe us . Since the Military era up till this Democracy, Chinese investors have been coming to Ogun State without achieving anything good. |
ChiefOloye:You are very correct. It seems Herbert's wife and Herbert's siblings are not in good term. I had an uncle, though still alive I can never forget his First wife. She never allowed us to see our uncle. While in the University I went to VI to see my uncle but the Security denied me entrance thrice. I stopped. As at this time, no Lekki, no Abuja , VI was only residential and only for the VIPs. Most members of the family received this treatment including my late mother that was the immediate younger sister to this man. Later, our uncle retired as Director of Oil company and one of his mistresses had pregnant which was unknown to him. My mother and other sisters took her to their mother in the Village and planned she keep the pregnancy until later stage. It was a tough battle between the man and the wife. It was later I realized the family took the decision to have access to their brother and his wealth. Our uncle bought house at Parkview for the young wife. My grandmother was brought from Village to live at Parkview. Family meeting was held at Parkview where every member in Lagos attended . At VI and VGC houses where the main wife controls such can never happen. The Public should not take side with the Wife's family using the children to take over all the wealth not considering the father. |
lexy2014:It is either you don't understand economics or you just want to start unnecessary blind argument as usual. |
skywalker240:I am not an idiot. Using my account ( babaolofin) beginning from 2017, I supported him fanatically . It was few months ago I became confused. From Kemi Adeosun period FGN supported him till the end of Buhari Government. He said he didn't receive any incentive from FGN. |
MrGerald:Who is 58 years? |
OldBeer:You don't know much about Living Faith by saying DO Junior even preaches in one of the Sunday Services at Ota . That is not news. He has been preaching there for a long time. There was a time he was the Resident Pastor. David Oyedepo Junior has his calling. The HOLY SPIRIT was telling me few days ago up till yesterday morning that just like Isaac his younger brother, David Oyedepo Junior was chatting course for ministry outside Living Faith Church with the various Crusades he had held and various invitations from other Churches and ministries where he had ministered. Those who know me when I was using my account (babaolofin) should understand that I don't just talk about HOLY SPIRIT without revelation. In that meditation few days ago, I was thinking about all those postings that brought David Abioye to Lagos and back to Abuja. I was thinking about posting of Bishop Aremu to Abuja at his age when mummy (his wife) is already thinking about Grandma ministry, the same is applicable to Bishop David Abioye's wife after 44 years of knowing Bishop Oyedepo. It is very important to note that Bishop Oyedepo was 26 years when Bishop Abioye met him. Both Bishop Abioye and Bishop Aremu families need to have a permanent place of settlement . They can travel on invitations for ministerial assignments but not on posting or transfer. From what is happening, David Oyedepo Junior under the Covenant will take over the Ministry. Only the person that carries the Covenant that established the Ministry can move the Ministry forward. Celestial Church case should be a lesson to all. |
AngelicBeing:That is your propaganda. That is why you are a Social Media miscreant. During the infamous cashless and naira redesign era before the Presidential election, on Social Media and particularly Nairaland, there were useless propaganda against FCMB, Sterling Bank and GT Bank about violation. I asked the questions why must the violation propaganda be against FCMB, Sterling and GT Bank? Emefiele didn't see any Bank? The greatest crisis in the Banking Sector have been the upgrade in Zenith Bank that caused hardship for almost 7 days with many casualties, yet, nothing heard or no information on Social Media because the victim mentality people are ready to defend them. |
datola:They don't need to tell us. It is very clear that it is about propaganda, misinformation and disinformation against GTCO or GT Bank. We know the people that can do this . On October 1st when WEMA Bank was doing anniversary celebration and giving out gifts. On nairaland, somebody said a Bank that had bad network since morning. I complained that why must they always complain about WEMA, FCMB, Sterling and GT Bank. Zenith Bank had no network that day and had been having issues but no information or complaints on Social Media. Few minutes later, nairaland frontpage posted message about Zenith Bank message about maintenance. Up till now, a lot has happened in Zenith Bank. We are forced to transfer funds only from Zenith Bank to Zenith Bank. Some of us transferred money to 3rd party with Zenith Bank acting as proxy to the real owner of funds but without Zenith Bank account. For the real owner to collect the fund in full now becomes problem. Despite crisis at the Banking Hall of Zenith Bank for several days, no crisis or complaints or misinformation or disinformation on Social Media. I do tell people in all the Zenith Bank branches I have visited that if it has happened in GT Bank those people would have brought down Social Media with propaganda against GT Bank but now they kept quiet because it is Zenith. |
olatade:You are 100% correct. I am happy that Tinubu is in power and we have Cardoso in CBN, Wale Edun in Finance Ministry, Mele Kyari in NNPC and Farouk as the Regulator of Midstream and Downstream Sector. Though PENGASSAN a very strong body in the oil Sector told Nigerians few days ago why NNPC was the sole offtaker of PMS from Dangote, I observed that information was deserted by Social Media miscreants. I am very happy that marketers wanted to buy directly from Dangote. I know Dangote will not want that. It is not that Dangote doesn't want to sell directly to them but Dangote doesn't want the marketers to tell Nigerians how much they are buying PMS from him. Dangote prefers NNPC to continue to be paying Subsidy on PMS procured from him. I think Professor Akintola of MURIC and South West elites can now see what is happening. Contrary to the media propaganda of the Head of Media of DANGOTE Refinery which was channeled to his kinsmen that NNPC prevented the marketers from buying PMS directly from Dangote Refinery because Dangote wanted to crash the price which prompted Professor Akintola of MURIC to complain the last time, we can now see what is happening. |
ufotunang:All of you are very unintelligent. The comments here are very crude and shallow. It shows the level of primitivity of uncivilized social media miscreants. Psychologically, the fear of tomorrow is a silent killer. The difference between Animals Kingdom and Humans is the rule of law. It is timidity and conscience that mainly create fear of tomorrow. The righteous is as bold as a lion. FUBARA relied on the presence of Bala Mohammed the Bauchi Governor who is a Frontline warrior of the Fulani under Buhari regime to carry out the violation of the Court Judgement and to quickly swear in the selected and appointed Chairmen on Sunday less than 24 hours after the election before Bala Mohammed returns to Bauchi late today except he has changed his departure till tomorrow. Let us look how it goes. |
blowjohn:I believe you and the other person are in the same room or might even be the same person. The analysis he gave you is for kindergarten pupils. The Interpretation of Laws is done by Judiciary and not Social Media miscreants. The duty of Law Enforcement agencies is to enforce Laws delivered by the Judiciary. If the judgement is not fair to any party it can only be challenged in Law Court anything contrary is against the law as delivered by the last Court of competent jurisdiction. |
helinues:NBA is talking nonsense. I agreed with you 100%. NBA became fractionalized, political and irrelevant to national politics beginning from Jonathan era. All the human rights lawyers along their axis, very popular SAN Lawyers defended Jonathan government ridiculously. One of them defended Yahaya Bello against EFCC on print and electronic media recently. The election of Paul Usoro, Olumide Akpata and this present Osigwe are purely political. When Afe Babalola and his kinsman Wole Olanipekun from Ekiti both very experienced Lawyers were fined for challenging Supreme Court judgement in Bayelsa few years ago I know something happened in the background. People said Mary Odili acted against IMO Supreme Court judgement. It is not surprising that NBA can ask Police to provide security for an election the Court had restricted INEC from participating . Is there no difference between maintenance of order and security as encapsulated in the constitution and defending illegality. In 2015, Presidential election was postponed on Security Reason. Events have been suspended or postponed based on Security report . It is the duty of Police and DSS to determine the security situation of an environment. It is the duty of the Court to give judgement and the duty of Law Enforcement agencies to enforce court judgement. |
naptu2:Thanks for the CNG tutorial series you have been delivering on nairaland. I will repeat my earlier plea posted few days ago below. Please, I have an information for Bayo Onanuga and the Chairman of PCNGInitiative and also the Management of NIPCO. At the heat of disagreement between DANGOTE Refinery and NNPC, I brought the news of new DANGOTE trucks on CNG queueing for CNG at NIPCO CNG station opposite Mountain Of Fire Prayer City, IBAFO, Ogun State. I said other fleet of trucks from other companies also patronize this CNG station. Since, the traffic has increased with Kaduna State Government Transport Buses sighted on the queue few days ago and the station working overnight to clear the queue. Trust Nigerians, they have started complaining that with extremely few people using CNG, vehicles have started sleeping at CNG station, what will then happen when more trucks and buses are converted to CNG. To exploit the situation, an abandoned petrol station (AYOLOLADE Petrol Station) that has been inactive and abandoned for more than 10 years beside the NIPCO CNG station that is being used by some trucks on queue for CNG is now preventing trucks from parking in the abandoned petrol station while waiting for their turn to receive CNG. I personally spoke to one tout/miscreant who sealed the entrance with tape. He was adamant. My plea to Bayo Onanuga, PCNGINITIATIVE and NIPCO board is to expand the IBAFO CNG station by the acquisition of the abandoned/moribund AYOLOLADE Petrol Station immediately beside the NIPCO CNG station. It is just to expand, it doesn't require serious piping work. 2. Also, on the other side going to Lagos, at MAGBORO, at Chinese bus stop. There is a direct CNG supply to the Chinese company which they used for several years to power the factory before they shutdown business. Federal Government can take part of the huge land to build another CNG station. It requires less piping work. FG can revisit the unwholesome acquisition of that land from the community and the CNG the company used for years. Building these stations will cater for expected surge in CNG demand along the ever busy Lagos Ibadan expressway. Thanks. |
abba190:ZENITH BANK also have no Network since morning. It is very frustrating. You went for shopping but you cannot pay with your Zenith Bank ATM card. You cannot withdraw from POS since morning. You don't have anything to say. Your problem is Wema, FCMB, Sterling. I don't want to mention GTB because that is your frustration. |
NwaliE01:You are not celebrating, you are lying. I have greeted 23 IBOs today, they told me they are not celebrating. |
CyrusVI:His celebration doesn't stop Nigeria celebration. The Sun, the Moon and Stars in their courses know Nigeria is celebrating. The Heavens and Seas know Nigeria is celebrating. The Earth, the Air and spirits therein are aware. The plants and Planets are aware. The Marine Kingdoms are aware. The Court of Angels and Saints is aware. All our fathers in the faith that have left this physical world like St Moses Orimolade of Cherubim and Seraphim, Captain Abiodun Akinsowon, Baba SBJ Oshoffa, Apostle Babalola, Prophet TB Joshua and hundreds of others are aware of this celebration. That boy may not benefit from the prosperity of NIGERIA. Those who wish Jerusalem well benefit from the prosperity of Jerusalem according to the scripture. China was a developing nation few decades ago and not too long. Malaysia and Singapore were also not strong nations economically few decades ago. China passed through Fire before it becomes a great nation. Religion and Social information regulations and censorship which violation carried death sentence . In China during that period, there were so much censorship and regulations . We were never allowed to know what happened. We only saw the results but not the sacrifice. In the WILDERNESS, while the Red Sea was at the front and Pharaoh Chariots were at the back, the Israelites in the middle cried to Moses asking him is it because there are no graves in Egypt that he brought them to die in the Wilderness? They said they preferred Slavery in Egypt to the imaginary freedom. Those who complained never entered the promised land. Tinubu is a man of Courage. With a budget of 96% committed to servicing debt on assumption of power, it takes ingenuity and Grace of God to get to where we are today. Once Nigerians accept total deregulation of the petroleum sector as our fate, things will start to happen. 7 billion dollars forex backlog cleared, 30 trillion naira ways and means debt cleared less than 15 months , no government in Africa can do that. |

Bamss1:Don't mind them. Most of the information you see on social media especially nairaland regarding protest in Lagos is mainly propaganda, misinformation and disinformation to incite protest in Northern States of Nigeria. They are mostly not the true state of things. They want to provoke other groups which might lead to violence. It is better to keep to their protest and propaganda and not disturb other groups going about their daily businesses. |
OkCornel:The government has performed creditably well considering situation on ground. As at April 30th, 2023, I bought 5,000 Naira cash with 7,500 or 8,000 Naira depending on the location of the POS operator . I know about two multinational corporations that have problems with remittances of foreign money back to their parent companies abroad. Today, the situations have changed. A lot of fleet of trucks are now using CNG including DANGOTE new trucks. The implications is that millions of litres of Diesel is now being substituted for CNG monthly. In future, millions of litres of PMS will now be substituted for CNG. This is a great achievement which have impacts on all the areas you mentioned. Payment of $7 billion forex backlog within a year is a feat no country in Africa has done. There is a lot of ongoing economic and social reforms. At the Stock Exchange (NGX), we have companies declaring huge profits. In the Oil Sector and Manufacturing sector where few multinationals divested their investment, we have vibrant local and International companies taking over . It is only Obasanjo and Tinubu Government that have carried out economic and social reforms. |

fasho01:Yes but they should not disturb the fundamental human rights of those who chose to live reasonably. They should not create nuisances |
Lastlive:PENGASSAN, that name reminded me of Ovie KOKORI. The Social Media Youths may not know him. There is no too many issues surrounding the Refinery. PENGASSAN is the final authority on the intricacies in the Petroleum Sector. They have said it as it is in very simple and clear language |
Anither563:It makes no sense to fools. Yes, it makes no sense to fools. IPMAN National Welfare Officer, John Kekeocha was speaking for himself and not IPMAN. He was speaking for his brothers the new DANGOTE Refinery Public Relations head is one of them. They are propaganda expert. Everybody knows imported petrol is sold at Subsized price. Since 2016, the hope was that DANGOTE Refinery wiould end subsidy. Nobody expected subsidy to continue under Dangote Refinery. Nobody expected subsidy to be moved from imported PMS to locally refined pms. In all their weekly Association meeting, Autonomous Communities / Village meetings and Villages /Town meetings they said Dangote be wan sell petrol for 300 naira but na Tinubu no gree. Tinubu na wicked yeye man. They mainly listen to WAZOBIA radio station. Propaganda. So, they expected NNPC to buy petrol at almost 900 naira or 800 naira from Dangote and sell to Nigerians at 300 naira so they can continue smuggling to other countries at Loans to be paid by Nigeria. Fools. |
Lavor234:Nigerians are too dull. The elites know what is happening. It is just very painful to me that Senator Ifeanyi Ubah died at this crucial period. Death why? He is supposed to be at the Senate at this crucial period. |
fortunejum:All of you are part of DANGOTE propaganda. Dangote family own MRS oil. Sayyu Dantata is Dangote younger brother, Mariya Dantata is Dangote mother. Let MRS oil sell to Nigerians at Dangote Refinery price. MRS filling stations are in many states. |
Heffalump:Where did the statement from Dangote actually specifies =N=898 per litre? What is misleading about what NNPC said and what you typed? Is English language your problem or its comprehension? |
kole22k:You are all part of DANGOTE Refinery propaganda. What stopped Dangote from telling the whole world the PMS price the way he did for Diesel? He addressed press conference to announce Diesel price even before marketers started loading. He did that because there is no subsidy on Diesel. When you asked somebody "What is your name and he started telling you my mother and my father met each other in the University, they were in courtship for 5 years etc, just know there is an issue". |
ALTERNATEID:DANGOTE can never tell the truth because of the man he recently hired to lead the Public Relations battle of DANGOTE Refinery. The Indian VP of the group would have told Nigerians the truth but the PR Man (Nigerian) is doing a propaganda job his people are well known for. When DANGOTE Refinery started Diesel we were told the price even before marketers started loading. There was press conference on Diesel price by Dangote. He did that because Diesel is not covered by SUBSIDY. It pained me that Senator Ifeanyi Ubah died when he was needed most. He was the Chairman of Senate Committee on Petroleum Downstream Sector. He would have blown opened everything. Dangote avoided Senate because of Senator Ifeanyi Ubah and penetrated House of Reps. Senator Ifeanyi Ubah is the Owner of Capital Oil. They know DANGOTE is after SUBSIDY. NNPC decided to frustrate DANGOTE from collecting SUBSIDY indirectly. It is a Battle of SUBSIDY and a Battle for Subsidy. I as a person, I prefer Nigerians buy the PMS at high price without Subsidy to NNPC buying PMS at high price from Dangote and selling to Marketers at Subsized price. Already, the new PR Man and those frustrated people are setting people against Tinubu because of hatred and because they lost election. In all their weekly Association meeting, Autonomous Communities / Village meetings and Villages /Town meetings they said Dangote be wan sell petrol for 300 naira but Tinubu no gree. Tinubu na wicked yeye man. They mainly listen to WAZOBIA radio station. Propaganda. Because of this propaganda of Dangote be wan sell petrol for 300 naira but Tinubu no gree, Dangote Refinery can never tell the true price as he did for Diesel. NNPC has told us the price. |
StJasper:Dangote never wanted to sell his PMS cheap. He wanted to make money from Nigeria. He wanted the Subsidy to continue why the subsidy is indirectly channeled to him. That is why he wanted NNPC to be the sole offtaker. He played on Nigerians emotions because of hatred of frustrated people against Tinubu because they lost election. Dangote brought one of them to lead the Public Relations battle. |
