That's to show you how stupid the journalist is. Instead of saying Buhari/Osinbajo campaign fund, the idiot said Osinbajo campaign fund. Did Osinbajo contest for the position of President in 2015?

This is the part that blows my mind. Who was on the ballot? Smear Campaign has started, nothing has changed. How low won’t you people go? 2015 elections Come and tell us what your plan is for the nation. I also heard about a billion van in someone’s personal residence. Are they going to furnish us with the details?

What is happening before that is not happening now? Every plan of the North is being acted on the south, with Osinbajo as the face of reason in the centre of a murderous government.

They are still stealing public funds
They are still taking bribes and offering changes on the highways
They are still murdering minority tribesmen in the North
The castles are still destroying southern crops
Sunday Igboho and Nnamdi Kanu are still locked up
Their worst killers are being rehabilitated in the North

In fact, Osinbajo is politically useless to the south, the North seems to have bought his conscience.

You're right but what blows the mind is giving the same opportunities, other would do worse. Most people complain because they don't have the same opportunity. A mental reorientation is most critical, second is credentials/successes of aspirants in businesses/ventures/careers and third is grassroot support and acceptance. For how long do we keep a system where if you don't have billions stashed somewhere you won't be opportune to represent your people.

His resignation would have saved the situation, it would have stopped the open genocide going on, sometimes you have to admit that losing political offices in favor of saving lives is a much better option, especially for the top Christian in the government.

Fair point but let me play out a scenario. Another christian will come to replace him and will be made to say he had to resign because they found something on him. That will be the caveat to get the job and trust our people, they will jump at it. The same man who resigned now will begin the walk of shame with no one to believe his side of the story. History remembers him as the false man of God who had to be dishonorably discharged and the cycle goes on and on. The back stabbing in that business is epic, look at Kemi Adeosun. NYSC they said.

I want someone who can engage other world leaders at Economic Summits and the likes. A President who gets treated here, the medical tourism is enough, if they can get treatment in our hospitals, lets all die here. A President who doesn't need prepared speeches. A President with decent credentials at the least. Do you know the kinds of intel foreign entities have on our people and then you elect someone who they already flagged for several misdeeds? Some nations are reluctant to even sell us equipments and machinery to combat terrorism because they don't trust our leaders.

I wish Nigeria the best and us all.

No, the best performers remove themselves from situations where people are being murdered openly foe political reasons.

How does Osinbajo sleep at night?

This then opens the door for full fledged mayhem. The system would have helped eliminate the few people who can at least stand for something. The infraction at the National Assembly would have gone as business as usual, if those kind of actions were not taken. Times and seasons, I once considered this notion of resignation but what good would that bring? The people you resign for would be the first to call you a weakling. Success isn't for those who jump ship at the first sight of trouble.

Wait until he becomes President then you will see the stuff Osibanjo is made of. For now, a VP by your constitution is nothing but a spare tyre only used when the main tyre is faulty. But in 4 months Osibanjo acted as President keen observers noticed fundamental difference in governance in Nigeria. Osibanjo sold himself as a sound leader that understands how to fix the problem within that period. How his interim government got $1 USD that was hovering around #570 to around #370 showed some of us that he is just under rated spare tyre that ought to be the main tyre. He is sound on how to grow this nation and reclaim it from criminals I have no single doubt about .

Flesh and blood has not revealed this to you. It beats me how people forget what happened when he was in charge. Life has shown that some are talkers, not performers. Osinbajo is a performer and thats all that matters. Great respect to Asiwaju any day for being a pioneer for several of those we call performers today.

Since quitting is the way to resolve problems. Won't you be the same to say he is a coward and can't stand persecutions. The best performers are those who take time to understudy situations or people and when the opportunity presents itself they're able to perform better. Wike and Amaechi case study.

Instead of cheap publicity, just sell yourself to Nigerians without pointing accusing fingers. What have you got to offer? Where is your family domiciled? At least we know the VP and his family lives here. The last big news about you was being disgraced while trying to hijack the ENDSARS protest. How about the herbalist that accompanied you the other day? Is he your running mate? They need to lay leg on you not hand.

We all know Osinbajo meant well. A media aide(s) obviously made that video. His media aides/team should also be held accountable, since they are expected to know better. A good media aide wouldn't create such video with copyright infringement and present it to his boss, without first clearing such video of intending lawsuits. The VP will probably fire or sanction the media team responsible for such video.
I trust Osinbajo to handle this case with maturity. Even Beyoncé will be so impressed with how osinbajo will handle it that she might not even file a lawsuit, but simply appreciate that her music was used in commemoration of Women's day.

Sheybi my good lord will keep blessing you with more gig of common sense

It is Karma that is dealing with the PDP.
Although that does not mean that the APC won't implode at certain time before 2023.

So i sense a strong 3rd force that will emerge from the disgruntled APC/PDP coming together.
Their grievances will be occasion by perceive injustice and zoning brouhaha.

Verdict : Many smaller parties champion by some youth movement will make in-road within the state legislative and NASS elections but lack of financial muscle will hamper them in the top executive positions.

The 3rd force at the national level will be approach by the PDP to go into an alliance to wrestle power from the APC but the deal will collapse along the way.

In the end, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo (SAN) of the APC will emerge as the Nigeria President 2023!

Sound judgement on this matter

Well said, with adequate facts to back it up.

LandMann:
I'm not surprised... Most southern leaders stink of corruption due to over civilization... They never put the country and it's people first in what they do... They are always after their own illegal gains once they occupy public office... And once they are caught, the foolish southern people and it's media arm start playing ethnicity card and organising paid protests. Funny enough, you hardly hear of northerns coming to defend any northerner accused and being tried for corruption..

Look at the roads in the south and compare to the north... Just compare the infrastructural development in the north to the south... We are acting intelligent in the south while our political leaders rob us blind and turn us against the north... We produced presidents for 16 years out of the last 21 years... But go and look at Ore Abeokuta road where Obasanjo is from...the one who likes to write letters...

Go and look at Benin Warri road with all the oil revenue being received there and countless billions approved for them and siphoned by southern politicians while our people keep dying like flies in road accidents, while looking to the north as their source of problem.

Only Yar Adua, a Northerner pursued Nigeria's interest with zeal... But death cut him short... Buhari would have done greater things for Nigeria if not for the fall in revenue arising from crude oil price crash, together with the crowd of thieves surrounding him.

Sanusi too, a northerner occupied that CBN seat and made life easier for Nigerians with different monetary policies... He eliminated nonsensical ATM charges and many other fraudulent bank charges used by banks to legally steal from customers...

But our southern man Emiefele has climbed that seat now and he reintroduced bank charges, atm charges and so many others... because he's a capitalist and capitalism is fueled by greed and corruption in underdeveloped country like Nigeria where institutions are weak and checkmates can be easily maneuvered....

We will be ready to move forward when we start hanging looters in this country.

Thank you.

He could have declined the Akwa Ibom invitation since the governor is from PDP but no he went there. Was there 2 years ago too for commissioning. That's what true leadership is, seeing beyond party affiliations. May GOD use this man and other well meaning people seeking public service to shame all those that don't want Nigeria to work. Rewrite the constitution so each region knows when to rule.

It's worthy of note to know that he's also in Akwa Ibom at the moment to commission projects by a futuristic PDP governor. Leadership transcends beyond parties and those are the kind of leadership traits we should seek in those we elect into public offices. Let's leave ethnic, religious or tribal sentiments out of real issues and commend whoever does a good job. We're better than that and we should all come together and fight the people who are doing the real damage.
