We apologise for all the terrorists killed so far, and all the executive crooks serving time in Kuje. We also apologise for the incarceration of the bleached ipod lizard. Good! We can't be throwing monies at their repairs only to have them lie redundant due to the activities of some terrorists in the Niger Delta.

The refineries must function for the good of all genuine Nigerians and if that means bringing in crude from our neighbors, so be it- after all, it is better than importing gasoline since we would be the ones producing the value added products.

It isn't any secret the people who've been "disgracing" Nigeria the most.

Some people on this forum are fantastically dumb though.

Wish a friend of theirs can tell them how intelligent they sound when they keep their fingers mouths shut.
Politics › Re: Police Begins Budget Padding Probe, Gets Three Versions Of Budget by Progressive01(m): 7:54am On Aug 09, 2016
Yet some idiot who calls himself Dogara tries to defend this, insisting padding budgets amount to no wrongdoing.

I think there is something critically wrong with the politicians in this country- their knack for turning logic on its head, validating their crookedness with the most inane arguments is just downright appalling.

I hope all those involved in this daylight robbery get to do time without parole someday.

And Baba, we are still awaiting your action on interior minister Danbarawo oo. Do not disappoint us by keeping mum and doing absolutely nothing over that perverted criminal. It would do your image and support base no good.

Whether Niger Delta terrorist or Boko Haram, he supports and sponsors.

Should this be true, it will counter some of the effects of the economic woes as more money is pumped into the economy.

This will underscore the fact that this government, if given the chance and the needed support, will turn things around for good.

Just look how sad they are already.

I pray their misery never depart from them, amen.

Politics › Re: Insecurity In Niger Delta: Dispute Over N8 Billion Holds Up Negotiations by Progressive01(m): 7:23am On Aug 08, 2016
Sources at the Presidency told SaharaReporters
that a number of “elders”
from the Niger Delta area,
who have
been represented in the talks as “major

stakeholders,”
demanded N8 billion
from the Buhari
administration as a
condition for continuing with negotiations.

“The elders also demanded that the money
should be given
directly by the Federal Government to them
because they
said they don’t trust the governors of the
Niger
Delta States
to handle the funds,”
Yet some people come here to blame the government for whatever the region is seen to be going through. Even they themselves think each other as thieves.

It is a shame honestly, but as long as oil remains the mainstay of our economy, this vicious cycle of creating violence and "negotiations/settlements" will continue! It has burgeoned into a lucrative industry and everyone in that region would cash in and cash out today, tomorrow, the day after, or in the nearest future.

There is no better indicator of the shameful failure of successive governments in Nigeria than our continuous dependence on crude exports for upkeep.

Too bad.

This post just brought be back to something unusual which has been going on unnoticed- rarely do we read news about bomb blasts by BH.

Hear the Ineffectual Buffoon October 2nd 2010:

“I am from the Niger Delta. My father’s house is a few metres from an oil-well, so nobody can claim to be a Niger Delta than myself.

“It is erroneous to think that my people who
have been agitating for good living will
deliberately blow up the opportunity they have
now”.

“We know the persons behind the terrorist attacks on the nation. We know they used an organisation that operates in the Niger
Delta called MEND as a front, but we are aware
that MEND is not a terrorist organisation.”
How come this same group has suddenly become interested in his death?? Or isn't he "more Niger-Deltan than anyone else" anymore??
