LouisVanGaal: Truly we Nigerians are BAD student of history! We can be likened to the Israelites of those days...when God decided to take them away from Egypt(captivity), through wilderness to canaan(promise land)..they cried and wailed..claiming to be better off in Egypt..
Same thing is happening now, we have been crying for diversification..now we are in a situation were we can painfully, but slowly diversify..we are crying! We are paying for recklessness in embezzlement and lack of vision on the part of our past leaders.. Longing for a government official that kept giving us an utopia Nigeria on paper..despite the oil bloom, nothing to show for it...

modath: Bros, this story doesn't add up, there are gaps in the narrative, we will know it later...I do not for one moment believe this is the result of a tooth extraction gone bad..... We will know what really went down, sooner rather than later...
I knew from the time the news broke that the hospital in question was Nizamiye (Turkish)... I know the hospital (by chance), i can guess that 90% of Abuja peeps probably don't, it is off the beaten track, it's not a place you "rush" people to, you have to have prior knowledge of that hospital l, the kind of facility there to even set for that direction.
I'm 100% sure there is not one person there that isn't top notch, off all the hospitals in Abuja, i do not know one single individual that uses the place... it looks like a freaking hotel!! It's the kind of place where cards will be procured at 250k...
That's where Uche Chukwuremije died too... Dude was literally brought in "dead" to they Turkish H. So frankly, I don't want to think they have any blames to share here. I blame is squarely on whoever prescribed the meds for him after the tooth removal- I mean, they shouldave done some background checks to know which drugs are most compatible with his system- isn't that why we have variants of drugs that perform the same function in the first place |

StOla: Goodluck was handed a Nigeria that was thriving and set to finally actualise her potentials. By the time his tenure was done, he had balkanized the country and whittled down the country's foreign reserves despite earning more from oil sales in his own tenure, and the federal government was already borrowing to pay salaries.
Those that say Goodluck's regime was the best ever for our economy are yet to tell us a single commodity that was selling cheaper in 2015 when he left office, compared to the prices of commodities in 2010 when we became unfortunate with his badluck.
Goodluck was nothing but badluck to Nigeria. Say it out loud let them hear even in their bedrooms!! I been thinking: since one thing we kept hearing from the children of anger pre-election was; Buhari and northern elites are sponsors of BH because they "hardly condemn" the group's activities.Today, I don't understand why they can't admit the same of Jonathan and the Clerks of the Niger Delta since these guys have never come out to condemn the Niger Delta terrorists.Bunch of inconsolable hypocrites. |

HungerBAD: Rude awakening.
The Rich also cry,was a popular T.V Show when I was growing up.
I also hated that T.V Show, because anytime it came on,the only woman I have ever told I love you, will not come out because she was watching the show and I will be stuck with the mosquitoes behind their house, hiding from her Dad in the darkness.
The program taught us that the Rich have their problems, contrary to what the poor people think.
The story of Emeka Offor, should be a lesson to any sensible man. First, nothing lasts forever and that is why every man should be able to plan at least 20 Years ahead.
The second lesson is,do not tie your personal fortune to any political fortune or party. Do not invest in Politics as you will come out hurt,it is better the political parties spend their money on you,and not the other way round.
Two of my closest friends, invested heavily in Okowa to become the Governor of Delta State.
Today, both got SSA positions in Delta, and both have not recouped their money back, and their salaries is a Joke, and I still laugh at them even until this evening when one called to tell me he was planning on relocating Back to the US.
Both friends, like Emeka Offor invested a lot in PDP thinking Jonathan will win,and the looting will continue, but Buhari my man came to rescue Nigeria.
Do I pity Emeka Offor's financial situation?nah.
You do not invest in criminality, and expect a bumper reward. At a time this Emeka Offor was so Rich,I actually thought he was printing money in his house.
Today, lack of planning, lack of foresight, women, high life, parties, fast life, wrong investments and lack of common sense has turned him to Akin the Drummer boy.
Emeka Offor was one of the problems of Nigeria,in the 16 Years of PDP looting. God is punishing him. Brace yourself- they'd descend in droves. |

Tax evasion is a criminal act and shutting of the premises amounts to nothing more than a mere slap to the wrist...
We need laws to limit/eliminate this kind of nonsense but I don't see the laggards in NASS being on top of this since they are more likely to be the major culprits, na dem and their companies they tiff from public purse go still dodge tax payment....... Honestly, the back and forth is getting nauseating. It is high time we started seeing these men do time! Check Al Capone's story out- dude was a criminal who beat over a thousand raps in his lifetime, from murder to bootlegging, racketeering, prostitution, drugs, etc, but the one crime which he made the mistake of ignoring and which ultimately sealed his fate was tax evasion (very meagre amount sef)!! progress69: I condemn the unnecessary detention but to factual, naming the dog Buhari then going ahead to write on its body is a deliberate attempt to cause trouble. How many dogs have u seen with names written on it?
There is a law that protects people's right on rigion, but does burning the Quran stop anyone from practising his/her religion?
Why is naminga dog Quaran gravier than naming a dog Buhari to u? In the real sense u are actually not breaking any law doing so, but u are doing something that can dirupt public peace. When u kill somebody for preaching his gospel, then you violated his right for to practi his religion at the same time comitted murder. I believe u are a Christian even the bible says we should be wise in all things. U can't say cos u are covered with the blood of Jesus, u go into a mosque with a bible and start preaching.
I have said this repeatedly, this is Africa, we cherish leaders, culture, religion more than precious life. We should try to be as peaceful as we can at all times. Very good analogy, but would they ever heed good counsel. The seed of hatred was sown in their hearts during the 2015 election campaigns and sufficiently nurtured by Kanu and his horde of miscreants. Imagine one of them saying I could go to anywhere in the SE and name my dog Ojukwu and people would simply "laugh because they don't have time to indulge in pettiness"!! These are the same people that lash out at anyone who dares to have an opinion different from theirs in whatever. Okorocha, Igbokwe et al. The Government should not waste Nigeria's manpower investigating this man,he should simply be locked up as an economic saboteur.
This Militancy started from Bayelsa, when Goodluck Jonathan was the Deputy Governor, and he introduced this settlement of these RiffRaffs when he became Governor.
When he became President, him and his militant kinsmen had an open season on Nigeria's treasury.
Goodluck Jonathan had one Key to the Central Bank, and Tompolo had the other one, while Asari Dokubo was the Gateman to the Vault.
Goodluck Jonathan knows these Militants, they have been peppersouping together from his Deputy Governorship days.

As you said yourself, he named his goat Jonathan for a picture that does not reveal his own identity and not done in the midst of Ijaw people. Now you know why one suffered for his stupidity, and the other got internet popularity.
The goat man was not stupid enough to go to Otuoke and name his goat Jonathan while residing with Jonathan's kinsmen. Neither did he go to a community not in Ijaw land but populated by Ijaws, to exhibit this pet naming.
Our bigoted Igbo man, painted his dog Buhari and was always parading it in a community reported to be well populated by Buhari's tribesmen.
I am certain that a lot of Igbos have many unsavoury things named as Buhari in the SE, but it affects no one out of that region. This was a calculated attempt to look for trouble, and trouble came to play with the Igbo man. Dude, you are wasting your time. |
