In addition, it is always common practice for an outgoing administration to give APLs at the end of their tenure. It is ridiculous that they didn't give these jobs since, but sadly that's mostly the trend. Wish everyone success in the APL sharing in the coming weeks before handover.
Letters would sure fly. |

It is a valid question that didn't require mentioning any candidate. There's always the fear of delay in capture or confirmation if a ruling party doesn't retain its seat. It happened after GEJ lost reelection bid, in the FCSC recruitment. It took over 30months before persons got captured in the Civil Service.
Truth is: in most cases, even with delays you'd still get confirmed as long as you have an original letter, but they may try to frustrate the process in a bid to make persons quit out of frustration as experienced. They tend to delay capture or payment for months.
Most important thing is, have your letter. Not sure about agencies, but for the Federal Civil Service, you can't be sacked just like that. Agencies usually do not delay with capture, payment and resumption too... Just be hopeful (and get the job first via a legit means). Let the rest sort itself out. |

Oh certainly...some of us would get letter without...nvm But I agree freddybonz: As long as it's a Nigerian recruitment, they must be some sort of manipulation one way or the other although some would get in on merit, pls lets be realistic and not idealistic |

NCDMB is not the template. NCDMB didn't do interviews and they manipulated the selection process. It may feel strange to you that NERC is following standard recruitment process...lol NCDMB is still planning on taking another batch of persons. Their process started in 2020.
After interviews, documents are uploaded, then verified physically. Congratulations to all who got the job. |
Jobs/Vacancies › Re: The Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission ("NERC") Is Recruiting. by ProIT: 7:48pm On Feb 04, 2023 |
The entire NERC process is weird to say the least. But we can hold on to some hope.
It's commendable that persons here and on whatsapp groups we belong to are getting mails, (means we can say there's merit in the process...for now). However we'd wait for the outcome of interviews and APL issuance to give them (NERC) kudos.
It's still suspicious that scores from the Testmi tests were not visible, I also think an invitation of so many persons, when the aim is to recruit a small number (150) as already speculated is unfair (especially to persons who have to travel a distance to Abuja for this "final test"
Again: the end would justify if the process was an entirely transparent and fair process.
Fingers crossed, new week in a bit, more interviews...hopefully more mails for those of you who did not get mails. Also hope the wrap the process up before elections.
All the best ya'll |

Could you share any particulars about how interview went Heard it's a panel of 7 commissioners and 3 other persons including FCC rep. Amoskadiri: Yes. You will be asked to provide your acct details just before the interview. |

All we can do is wait...speculations, updates etc. Until you get that APL (Letter) in your hand, keep hoping, waiting and pushing. So many factors at play. |

okay Raheeqilmaktoom: What's meant to be will be and what's not meant to, can't be forced.
Besides, if you see people resuming what are you going to do? Prevent them from resuming? Abi cancel the process?
Ours is just to have hope and be prayerful. We came this far, other's didn't make past the first stage.
If it comes, we give thanks and accept, if it does not, we still give thanks and move on. Ciao. |

The NCDMB experience all over... Olowozain: I am not part of the recruitment any more because we have envisaged it outcomes and the processes are bad for us. But where are all the certificates uploaded at the initial stage? Personally I scanned and uploaded 10 original certificates. If this your update is correct which I think it is not... Then there is a big problem more than before!
Though Testmi.ng site has expired at October, 2022. The grace of two months has also been exhausted unless they renewed it then you guys can keep up with the Internet traffic for them! But all documents are still accessible by testmi and nerc in their Microsoft azure cloud computing portal Best of luck in Nigeria! |

lol, some people don't get the sarcasm about missing profile picture. Patience truly is a virtue. Asking every second if there is any update is as good as spamming. Just wait till the end of the month. Just because there is a box for comment, doesn't mean we should fill the thread. If there is any important information, it would be shared, except of course letters are shared and people are told not to tell anyone (like the other agency) . Trying to know when to expect mails, would not stop mails from dropping on the day they drop. When they drop, you would know! Best wishes of the Sunday. |

It's not. It has been visible on the page before the test already written. They just disabled that profile page. Ustec: Seems like that exam card is meant for the next exam, I am only guessing though, I don't have any credible info about it. |

I do not expect them to talk either. Instructions should be followed. We should just wait and hope. Dappa123: Lucky applicants are being called yet they refused to testify here or maybe not a Nairalander, ot they won’t say because they are being worned not to talk to anyone about it. |

Exactly same thing I said. Testmi usually shows you score right after the test. With the way they’ve done this, if you’re not called for another test, interview or APL, you can’t complain or protest. After all, did you pass the test? Even if you think you did well, other people did better (they would say). Since you can’t see your scores. The game is the game. abeyluve: Na so we go dey here arguing, the next thing you will here is people have resumed work. You will ask yourself why is tesmi not showing results? If they are going to be transparent to some extent which I am not convinced. They should show results, then peg cut off marks according to geopolitical zones. If you score low, then you move on. All these things nah wayo joor. |
