Please don't waste your time on immature and foolish comments.

I'm Igbo from IMO state. I considers all Igbos as one, artificial delimitation cannot change that fact. I love and respect all tribes let alone my own people. Please allow the efulefus to make fool of themselves before all and sundry.

I visited Ebonyi state sometimes this years and it was a beautiful experience. Your Governor is doing a great job as he is laying good foundation for others to build on.

Your ladies are beautiful and homily too. Being the youngest Igbo state, I and I believe all well meaning Igbos are proud if how far Ebonyians have come.

Igbo nile bu otu.
Jisi nu ike.
Onelove.

AkeNathan:
I am an Ebonyi man.

Weting concern me concern how you dey rate me?

Ibu Chi m? Are you my god?

I am proudly studying Pharmacy and surely not having inferiority complex over Ebonyi state or my profession.

Its quite disheartening to hear all this about #Brown2Green, I don't usually believe stuffs said about people till I hear from the other end. This same dude helped me privately without asking for a dime. He helps on the thread probably more than anyone else without demanding for any gratification. Then all this allegations, I can't just connect the dots.

#Brown2Green please stay strong.

My cousin and I got fully funded offers without deficits. We both chose "self" as the person paying for trip. We both got our visas approved. Two of my friends got full funded offers too without deficits but chose "the University" as their own options. They too got their Visas approved.
I don't know if that answers your question.
Thanks, however, mine isn't fully funded, I have a deficit of about 40k, so I have to thread with caution before I get misunderstood.

You're not allowed to change your DS 160 3 days before your interview.

You can be denied for misrepresentation

Reschedule and all that is behind you
I can see 25th is Tuesday not Monday, do I stand a chance? Rescheduling would mess my other plans, what do you think sir.
TravelRe: General USA Student Visa Enquiries-part 15 by ProjectKay(m): 3:52pm On Jun 21, 2019
Thank you, but please why would it be a 50 - 50, even after the change? And why is rescheduling the best option?
TravelRe: General USA Student Visa Enquiries-part 15 by ProjectKay(m): 3:29pm On Jun 21, 2019
I need some advise please, I just discovered that my DS - 160 form has an error as I mistakenly click "Self" as the sponsor instead of a company as indicated in my i20.

I'm in a fix right now don't know what to do, my interview is on Monday.

Thanks

Reads good. You certainly know your stuff. I would be more concise though especially the answer on why you chose the school. Other than that... good job!
Thank you, I will summarize adequately. Most grateful.

Nice transcript, but believe me, you won’t have time to even say half of these (they are too lengthy). If I were you, I would try my best to summarize and cut the responses by half.

I wish you all the best.
Thank you, I will do as you say.

VO: Good Morning
Me: Good Morning

VO: pass me your I-20 and What course are you going for in the US
Me: LLM in peace studies and Conflict Resolution at the University of Oregon, Eugene, Oregon.

VO: Why did you choose this course?
Me: firstly, it aligns with my career goal, I want to be an expert in humanitarian law and conflict resolution via ADR and legal settlements other than adversarial litigations.
This program also appeals to my long term career goal as a peace policy expert and diplomatic peace negotiator, so this program will be a huge plus in my career goals of being diplomatic peace negotiator with a conscious bias in legal settlements via ADR mechanisms.

VO: Why did you choose the University of Oregon?

Me: I chose the University of Oregon because
Firstly, I get to acquire an LLM in Peace Studies and Conflict Resolution and not an MA. Uoregon is amongst the few schools that have the whole department in law faculty dedicated to the study of this program, with others, you can only get a certificate, or few electives courses or at most an MA.
I am excited at the opportunity of working with Prof Dianne Baxter and Shaul Cohen, especially the former who is a world-renowned expert on the conflict resolution her treaties on Israeli-Palestinian conflict has always been topnotch. She is the Author of “From refugee to displaced citizen: The Evolving discourse of Palestinian Peace Making”; “Islamization and Westernization, the challenges of Gender traditions.”

Secondly, UOregon curriculum is intimate and intense, cos there is a Dispute Resolution Centre - which is integrated conflict management; mediation; legal settlement and security centre right in the heart of the law faculty.

Thirdly UOregon the program comes with optional internship paths in specialized research in sub-Saharan conflicts; Israeli-Palestinian conflicts; Northern Ireland conflicts; Collaborative governance and public policy studies and family mediation internship.
Also, UOregon offers multiple training in public policy, collaborative negotiations and consensus-building which is very exclusive to them.

VO: when did you graduate
Me: August 2014

VO: what have you been doing since graduation?
Me: immediately after my graduation I headed to the Nigeria Law School for a year’s program upon which after completion I was called to the Nigeria Bar in 2015. Afterwards, I enrolled for the compulsory NYSC scheme where I served with XYX …. A peace and dev NGO, I rounded up the scheme in 2016, after which I joined the law firm of XYZ till date.
In the last few years I have been appointed as a policy advisor to the Honourable minister for ……… to the Nigeria Government; Youth and peace advocate by the African Leadership Institute; Global Peace Ambassador by Global Peace Chain worldwide.
I also consult and volunteer for a number of international NGOs, African law foundation -where I serve as the coordinator for Northern Nigeria and African Centre for conflict..... Which I co-founded and currently serve as the Director.

VO: what do you plan to do after graduating from UOregon
Me: After my graduation, I plan to return back to Nigeria to resume my positions as a Director at African centre for conflict ………. ….. …and also work and apply to be a Partner in xyz law firm where I currently to work, I will also simultaneously seek appointments with AU and other relevant think tanks in Nigeria, Africa and the world at large.

VO: how many schools did you apply too and name them
Me: 4 more schools Upenn, Pennstate, Indiana University and Uni of Birmingham in the UK.

VO: did you write any standardized test
Me: yes, I wrote IELTS, my score was 7.0

VO: Are you married
Me: No

VO: do you have any child
Me: No

VO: how will you be paying for your studies?
Me: I have a 50% LLM tuition scholarship and the remaining tuition plus my living expenses will be taken care of by the study scholarship I got from my uncle and mentors’ company. (I have a SOA with a balance over N70 M and a reference letter from the bank and the award letter from the company.)

VO: pass me the statement of account
He flipped through and returned

VO: Say no more, I will be approving your visa…. (….God willing)
Me: Thank you!!!

@Brown2Green @fairheart @Twoods, @Bracelum, @Lagosismyhome @walspring et cetera, please assist in vetting my proposed transcript.
Please, anyone with a few suggestions for a brother?

Anambra is OK, just don't expect to much , I have noticed that people usually expect too much form NYSC.
my candid advise , get contacts in camp during OP . and work your way to where you wanna be.
cavaet: Anambra pays only N5,800. so if you want extra cash ,innovate on how to earn that by yourself.
don't thank me

For me these guys need help from family, friends and the society to reverse this mental cum social anomaly , a dire a severe anthropological throwback which starts from the mind untill it subdues the poor victim.
Killing or hurting them is not the way out ,but loving and letting them know its not mentally ok to be gay, contrary to what those benighted and mendacious white men try to make them believe...very soon they will say it's ok to practice bestiality! Bloody goons!

Mr I perfectly understand, trust me, am a final year law student in UNN...all my life have always excelled beyond my peers buh ever since i joined law faculty its been down, down ,down now am somewhere behind the top guys in my class of 200+ ..my candid advice to young lads is this, MAKE SURE U APPLY AND STUDY THE COURSE U HAVE PASSION FOR or else you wil leave to regret it. If i was studying Lit-in-English i know it would have been a different ball game. Cos i live ,breath and eat literature, All thesame i can't stop thanking God for his grace cos where times i felt like giving up.
