PoliticsRe: CAN To Intervene In Jonathan-amaechi Face-off by prologue: 3:36pm On Apr 19, 2013
Nuzo':
We can continue to chun out series of propaganda against CAN in order to downplay its role on Nigerian christians.

First off, CAN is not an evangelical, christ, war or peace movement as some will want us to believe.

Just like OPC, Massop, mosop, AYC, Ohaneze, Afenifere, ansr-udin, OIC, Arab league, EU, AU etc are created to protect the interests of her members...CAN is simply a pressure group created to protect the interest of Christians in Nigeria.

It has absolutely nothing to do with evangelism but the protection of interests of Nigerian Christians in anyway the association deems fit of which the president and Amechi are of.

Given, CAN could be lousy and laid back sometime, but just like any other pressure group...it has to involve politics in order to achieve her aims.

So, calling CAN a PDP faction is simly moronic!

This is so remarkable. Coming from CAN, it would be better you focus on children n youth evangelism than this charade with intentions skewed towards monetary and political face-lift n take ur face off the face-off of these hideous minds with abysmal criminal inclinations. Better still focus on the thanksgiving service of alams... Just do something sha... Something else
PoliticsRe: Inflation Drops To 8.6 Percent, Lowest In 5 Years by prologue: 6:32pm On Apr 18, 2013
boron10: I don't really know, but the prices of most goods and services have remained stable for a long time now. You obviously do not understand what the 8.6% stands for.

It means on the average, the prices of all goods and services in the country have increased by just 8.6%.

Google inflation to get yourself more educated cool.
Food inflation eased to 9.5 percent from 11 percent.... Do I need to google this too?
PoliticsRe: Inflation Drops To 8.6 Percent, Lowest In 5 Years by prologue: 6:20pm On Apr 18, 2013
mrjingles: When inflation drops it DOES NOT mean prices drop. It means prices increase at a SLOWER RATE, as a rough example, 10% inflation rate means the GENERAL PRICE LEVEL increases from say 100 to 110 (this is calculated for a representative GROUP of commodities) some individual goods may experience higher than or lower than 10% so if the rate drops to 8% it does not mean prices drop from 110 but it means the level INCREASES by 8% instead of 10%. The benefit is that interest rates generally drop and this encourages demand for credit, boosts investment and creates jobs, it also helps stabilize the exchange rate. Its generally a dynamic balancing act. Prices APPEAR to remain static in some economies because they have very low rates of inflation of about 1.5-3%

What most of us are wishing for is DEFLATION which is a deadly thing to any economy, Japan had long period of deflation and that has almost crippled the export industry and the economy has stagnated with interest rates at 0% demand refused to increase. They Bank of Japan is now trying to devalue the yen in order to make Japanese exports cheaper to jumpstart the economy. Lets not lose sight of the fundamental issues please.
Has naira improved in value with this news? Prices are shooting higher generally n lower denominations of the currency are going extinct. Plz educate me
PoliticsRe: Inflation Drops To 8.6 Percent, Lowest In 5 Years by prologue: 6:07pm On Apr 18, 2013
greaterlove: I think inflation has been in check, i was having a discussion with one of my client on how stable the economy has been under Goodluck Jonathan unlike the unpredictable nature of it during the OBJ era. Anybody in the building industry knows he or she once bought cement for N1900 in this country but now i bought cement for N1600 and between N1500-N1560 if i am buying wholesale depending on the quantity. Though we want more to be done, but we cant deny the fact that the economy is improving.
Was it the dynamics of an improving economy that brought doWn d price?
PoliticsRe: Inflation Drops To 8.6 Percent, Lowest In 5 Years by prologue: 5:58pm On Apr 18, 2013
boron10: It is folly to use the increase in price of just two commodities to debunk the overall claim. Have you tried to observe the prices of goods and services in other sectors?

We should atleast be happy that Good news is coming from Nigeria.
What has really dropped in prices? Services and goods. Plz, specify.

morufoye: this is sheer jealousy and envy. What do you need his phd thesis for? remember he did not award it to himself. I have come across many phd holders and they all proved to be good in their field. the commander does not claim to have a phd in English.

Presently, he is our driver and we are his passengers. The best we can do for him is support him and pray for him. he ascended that throne with the intention of serving despite his seeming inadequacies and that what I call courage. Actions shall be judged according to intention. He can do without your mad.ness. Go to he.ll with your perfectionism. kiresi people wey sabi english pass queen elizabeth.
And the beat goes on. intentions? actions? and you are seeing the reaction. Point out these actions with "good" intentions? even a mad man has gotten intentions.
I voted for jona. Stood in d sun for hours and defied intimidations. Am from SS too. Its better to be a thief than to be irredeemably stupid. checkout obj. In one of his chat, he started by defining deregulation. New word... we became confused. thief but smart. what is free grains to farmers, cassava bread, energy saving bulbs, my plane cannot land in maiduguri, subsidy not attainable, if you dont rule well, we will stone u, birth-control, jumbo foreign trip, we are on top of the situation, maulag, 2500 buses, we know cabals but cannot name them. BH has infiltrated my govt, i-dont-give-a-damn... and the list goes on. while the smart criminals were playing draughts, he was playing dumb hide n seek with fishing canoes on open waters with pepe n omokri

I believe if somebody tries to ridicule you or your father's name, you would be happy. RomanceI Scammed Her! But Does She Really Loves Me? by prologue(op): 2:00pm On Jun 24, 2012
she was a girl of my dreams but her class and beauty were too much for me. After turning me down on several occasions, I devised a means.
since she was a banker, I knew she would always have access to internet. Begged her to accept me a casual friend, and knowing am jobless, will be able to learn one or two things from her. Then, I sent an email from a new email as my uncle in U.S, detailing how he was gonna help me, and how my father lent him some money before traveling to the State 10 yrs ago and he promised to reciprocate the gesture by investing fully in me. He also asked, in the mail, if I had a good girl to marry, cos in the states, most kids there are very spoilt. He said I should reply in a week time, with my name and with my would be wife's name, so he can start making papers for us. also, he had sent some money for my family's upkeep. He ended by adding he would send his new numbers so I can reach him, then recommended and read " the richest man in babylon" "and think and grow rich"

So, I called her three but she didnt pick my calls then I sent her a text to plz help check my mail, and if there is a mail she should help print it, as I was in a remote area for 2 weeks, trying to get agro- products for a client.

then she sent a text later that I had a mail one "John Doe" but she does not have the time. She promised to give me money to go to the cafe and advised I come back before weekend.
I knew she has read it. The mechanism was set in motion and to cut a long story short, we started dating and she financed everything.
Now I have a job, and am loving her, but I think she is scamming me, following the illusion of the initial scam. Should I tell her the truth? The date, according to my "uncle" is just a month away.
