Bros, the major responsibilities of centre government in a sane clime is making is making fiscal policies, control of military, control of import and export etc. The are contained in exclusive list.

We really need to devolve more power and responsibilities to the state governments.

Their should not be anything like federal road. The state should be responsible for fixing any road that pass through it.

Federal road is really one of the mediocre concept that should be scraped in this country.

You will be surprised other hospitals might have responded to your issue more friendly. Most of these issues are caused by individuals, their characters and sentiments. The problem is that we have good people and bad people roaming on the same land called Nigeria.

The work of the government is to make and execute laws and policies that are favourable to the masses. That is governance. Without the execution of laws a society becomes lawless. Leaving individuals to behave the way they want.
This is where we blame the system. The police and most hospitals should not be allowed to behave the way the wish. Their should be consequences for any action that doesn't grow the society.

The rule is simple. In any accident case take along two people from the scene. The voice of a. Multitude can't be easily overlooked. That's why people always say you and you help me carry him and follow me. Let's not allow fear paralyse us from being proactive. Il do this again and again. my brother, two people followed me to the hospital. I didn't go alone. The whole thing was a surprise and a nightmare to me. Even those guys where literally detained till morning. Their reason. We can't bring an accident victim and leave the person without any of the relatives of the accident victim coming around.
My brother the problem is the system. These things need to be addressed.

You are even lucky she didn't die, it would have been a different case.
I doubt our police goes for trainings and orientations.

My sister I was lucky. Even as d lady bore witness that was not the culprit. I was treated like a criminal. I doubt if I can do such again.

Honestly I think so. God help me rethink.

Our problem is our faulty system. People avoid helping accident victims because of how the police and most times the hospital turn the case against them.

I once helped took an accident victim to the hospital with my vehicle. When we got to the hospital I was detained by the hospital. The funny thing was that this lady was alive and was even telling the doctors that I was not the one that hit her. That I stopped to help get her to the hospital.

I was threaten with the police. In the end I had to find a way to sneak out of d hospital in morning after being kept all night.

Our system is our problem.

I need to find a way to restore the little respect I have for this lady.

Honestly since she started showing below per behaviours, making unbecoming utterances. I have lost so much respect to her.

Not all.

Is still like going toasting ten ladies a day and getting one or two out of ten.
