The educational institutions in Nigeria were NOT designed to solve problems of Nigeria but as 'photocopies of foreign bodies', thus graduates from Nigerian Universities often need to seek validations from UK, USA, Canada, Germany before being considered truly educated.
What you should be talking about is that a local content clause be added to the contract between Nigeria and the companies doing the jobs so that knowledge transfer can happen hence producing a generation of Nigerian engineers that can carry out similar jobs in the future and also maintain these ones. Don't be the ones badmouthing your graduates who end up running abroad and getting celebrated.

Great intervention. Though that fine is too much in my opinion. They can report the officials to EFCC and recommend them to be sacked or suspended from work for 6months without pay. It's when both the individuals and their company are punished that there can be sufficient deterrent.

Individuals committed that infraction so they should be held liable as well. They are not ghosts.

May God bless Nigeria for ever! Check my signature for free stuffs!
So the fine is too much? How is that your business? SMH

Oga, go and learn the difference between “inquiring why” and “compelling” an hypothetical person, before you argue with me.

You clearly don’t know the difference, that is why I did not read past the first 2 lines of your above comment. Waste of time
Oga You don't have the right to enquire about someone's career choice! If you want to remain in Nigeria to continue creating jobs, fine, you can go on and create all the 20 million jobs APC wants to create all by yourself. And lest I forget, go and learn the difference between "inquire" and "enquire".

Where in my comment did I imply that anyone should be compelled to live by my timetable?

I simply asked a question? Why would anyone be planing to do menial jobs in their 50s when they have spent their most productive years? Would you hire a 50 year old to do menial jobs for you when there is a younger more energetic person, that will save you time and money?

Anyway , to each his own. Enjoy your menial job.
If you question someone's choice to do menial jobs in their 50s, then you are implying they should comply with your mental image of an ideal career path which does not exist in real life. People that do menial jobs work for humans who appreciate and pay for it. Many of the people doing it are okay with who they are as it pays their bill. For many, it is not a final bus stop but something they are doing pending when something better comes up. I know a white lady with MSc who told me just a couple of months ago that once she is done paying her mortgage, she will retire and start taking care of people's pet and other jobs like that. She is under 40! There is nothing wrong with doing menial jobs if it is what a person wants to do. Of you find it debasing for you that's fine! Live your life and let others live theirs!

You are even more not serious self. How will you be saying that 99% of travelers aren't going there because of the intention of making money. That is a complete lie. It's completely nonsense jor. Most people want to make money over there and come back here. It's difficult for you to get the best life over there than here that is why you see Africans doing job that they won't do in their country but you see them doing it over there. You will hardly work to buy a care there or build a house over there. You can't own a good property but you can here.
Who told you he wants to build a house there?

Very unfortunate speech, lacking proper research. Is she aware there are people who have second or third homes abroad and still make their day-to-day money from Nigeria? Everyone over 40 years have specific reasons for going abroad. It could be children's education, better quality of life, safety... ...or even money! A 40 year old is NOT OLD! They probably struggled for so long here, believing in Nigeria and have given up on the country, no one should tie them down in a location that is clearly not working for them just because they are 40. They are 40 not 100! She needs to do her research well

But why would anybody be thinking of doing menial jobs at the age of 50+? Why do we have such poor aspirations for our ?

Many people japa ing are driven by fear and not by purpose. And if you lack purpose and expression of your innate talent, then your life will be a life of mediocrity regardless of where you live.
Regarding the bolded, what gives you the right to compel others to live by your life's timetable? Some will do the menial jobs at 50 and live successful lives later on in life, some will be extremely rich in their 50s in Nigeria, but will spend about everything the have paying ransome to kidnappers and finally die of heart attack. We all have different paths in life.

Listened to a few seconds of the video and I can tell she's an IDIIIOT with bad intentions.

First of all, 99% of the People who travel abroad do NOT do it to make money. So the premise of her NONSENSE argument is flawed.

The amount of money that is needed to complete the process of emigration in Nigeria is MIND-BOGGLING! The idea that it's ONLY poor people looking for money that choose to travel to UK, Europe, USA, Canada, etc is just plain DUMB!

It's even dumber when you consider the fact that a 40-year old man is UNLIKELY to receive external support to finance his plans.

People who travel do it to get AWAY from the economic quagmire, political instability, infrastructural collapse and the general LAWLESSNESS that is the hallmark of the Nigerian society.

Put simply, people travel out to get a better quality of life for themselves and their families.

Anyone who thinks people are fleeing Nigeria to make money is just being DELIBERATELY obtuse.

She's advocating for staying in Nigeria and "looking for money in dirty places". She doesn't realize that all the money in Nigeria would make no difference if you fall sick and the hospitals do NOT have ordinary X-ray machine to help with the diagnosis.

For those reading this:

If it enters your body to leave Nigeria and you can afford it, LEAVE! Even if you are 99 years old, LEAVE!
And finally, who is it that said you can't travel abroad and make money?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a04uRm8UDDM?si=mRi2xz1aUqNEDGVe

Keji, the third babymama of controversial singer, Portable, has called out crossdresser, Bobrisky over his beef with the singer.

This whole issue started when Portable made comments about Bobrisky’s choice of outfit for the Ajakaju movie premiere. Portable had stated that Bobrisky should stop referring to himself as the sisterhood, and he also threatened to get him arrested. This clearly did not sit well with Bobrisky, as he responded by calling him a dirty boy and went on to curse his generation.

Keji, who has a son with the singer, took to her Instagram page to slam him. She stated that his rift with Portable doesn’t give him the audacity to be laying curses on his children.

The mother of one vowed that should anything happen to her son, she would hold him responsible and ensure he is hailed for life. She added that when one is fighting, he should ensure he cautions his mouth.

The fulani only succeeded with the hausas and no more...!!

The rest where out of their reach hence you don't see them install Emir....anywhere the fulani take they install Emir..!!

As for the ebira and igala people, they were never shielded by any Royal Niger company, they are warriors in their own right and also good with Black magic and so could not have been able to be conquered...!!

Infact the igalas defeated all the fulani soldiers that came close to their borders upto Abaji area cos they the igalas where controlling those territories...!! The igalas even have watch towers and fobs around koto karfe zone that alerts the kingdom anytime the fulani tries to make any incursion...!!!

Apart from the ebira and igalas the fulani didn't succeed in conquering other minority tribes in the Middle Belt...infact in those days it is suicide for any fulani to step feet around the Plateau area..!!

The only people the fulani succeeded with are the hausas in Nigeria and right now they are beginningto also wake up and take their rightfull place...!!!
Thank you for educating the OP. The jaba, Kagoro, Maroa Tribes of Southern Kaduna were never under Fulani domination. They always had their first class chiefs who were never under the Emir of Zaria. OP the north is broader than you think!

Paternity fraud is not a new trend with today's women, each time I see my friend and his kids I see the odd differences between his son and the rest of the kids... The boy doesn't look like his siblings or parents. Do I tell him to run a paternity check? Or I just mind my business?

What do you think? Suggestions and advice are welcomed, feel free to insult the OP if you can't help it. Thanks
Oga, may thunder fire the mouths of those people telling you to mind your business and if they are men, may their wives sleep around and give birth to bastards for them to raise. Having said that, go and meet your friend immediately. Arrange for an outing between the two of you, tell him "my dear friend, I am sorry for meddling, but as a good friend, I will not see something that may harm you and keep quiet. You see that your first son, unlike your other kids, he doesn't look like you, sorry for questioning the fidelity of your dear wife but run a DNA test". If you observe that your friend is one of those coconut head simps, then give it to him the hard way. Get someone's phone whose contact he doesn't have and send him a WhatsApp message that reads thus: "OGA YOU BE MUMU? SHEBI YOU NO SEE SAY YOUR FIRST PIKIN NO RESEMBU YOU? IF YOU LIKE, NO GO DO DNA TEST, WHEN THE ORIGINAL PAPA COME CLAIM HIM PIKIN 15 YEARS FROM NOW, NA IM YOUR EYE GO CLEAR. OLODOOOO!!!!!"
