This thing you posted is nonsense. Nigeria isn't China. We produce close to nothing. It is a producing economy that can confidently crash it's currency. When you import almost everything, you don't want your currency to be weak. Simple!

What they do is simple. They will marry their victim, give birth to a couple of kids and start making trouble. They will get a divorce. Well, even in times of economic robustness, there is a certain class of people that UK do not tax, because of how low they earn, and a certain group they tax up to 50% because of how high they earn. In Nigeria, the poor man is the one that bears the brunt. Nigeria has killed many upcoming businesses with multiple taxation while rich people litter the city of Abuja with houses that are empty. UK take care of their vulnerable citizens unlike motherland.

You got it. SAP! Babangida may be forgiven for that blunder but after seeing what happened to us then, you will expect our leaders to always use it as a case study of what that silly IMF policy can do to a poor developing country, but for where! They just foolishly allow IMF do the thinking for them.

Lol We may call the IMF evil, mean, inhumane etc but one thing I know they aren't is hypocritical. The IMF through out all times have never failed to give our leaders the same old wicked advice; remove subsidy, increase tax. The western countries that run the IMF don't follow that advice. Whenever there is a recession in Europe, the governments give unemployment benefits to their people, and council houses to their citizens who can't pay for accomodation. But to us, they advice us to withdraw such things, and in the midst of massive job losses, they always advice that we increase taxes. Quite strangely, our leaders never ever fail to follow that advice.

This is a very foolish man. We manufacture close to nothing and import everything. When we complain about the naira's free fall, it is because when you go to import, you have to convert your naira to dollars and if the exchange rate is bad, then when business men want to sell their imported goods to Nigerian customers, the price will have to go up to accommodate the high cost of purchase due to a falling naira. This will not be an issue if there is a commensurate increase in minimum wage or earnings of the citizens (which in itself is not superb as it will only lead to inflation on the long run if it keeps happening repeatedly) but the FG has not been able to do that in spite of removing fuel subsidy. This thing I stated is elementary, but this clown of a leader who never thinks beyond a bowl of Eba and ewedu soup seems to be completely ignorant of it.

I was with my close friend yesterday evening. While we were chilling together, a call came in on his phone. it was his cousin that called telling what had happened and also seeking his advice. Now this is what happened, this his cousin has been dating this lady for about a year I think and he has already proposed to her and even took her to his parents and siblings. He also visited the lady family and did some introduction. Now April this year has been chosen for the wedding ceremony proper and a date has been fixed. This is where trouble started.

My friend cousin created a WhatsApp group for his wedding ceremony, he added all his friends and some of his classmates to this group so they can join hands and make his wedding day memorable. He posted his wedding IV to the group and some pictures of him and the lady, one of his old time classmate recognized her and immediately called him for a private meeting for urgent discussions.


He visited him the next day and this guy told him everything about his fiancée. How she used to be a stripper in Lagos clubs years back and how he and his friends had wild 3some with her. She used to base in Lagos as a call girl but relocated to Abuja and that’s where she met my friend cousin. After all these revelation this guy was in deep pain as he had already gone far with the weeding preparations. Of course his old time classmate advised him not to marry her, but this guy loves her so much and he is in a big dilemma of what to do next. As he thinking of leaving the country and go start life with her elsewhere.

Can such past truly be overlooked?

After my friend explained everything to me, I was just short of words but of course I advised he shouldn’t marry her. What advice would you give him in such a situation my fellow Nlanders ?

He not only wants to marry a retired Olosho (assuming say she retire true true), he wants to take her abroad where Nigerian women are showing Nigerian men shege. Advice him to marry her, some people are destined for knocks, there's nothing you can do to avert that.
