Transit from the truck crossing into niger Republic is 1.5 million cfa. It is not just possible because of the cost of transport. Most of the rice are coming from the Chad Basin where Cameroon niger Republic and Chad have a lot of huge rice farms and I mean huge rice farm you can find rice farm for kilometres on end. Yes some of the rice border between niger Republic and Benin Republic they are small good but most of the rice cause from Chad Basin where niger Republic Cameroon and Chad has huge rice farms I have been there and the farms are huge. If you stand on top of the roof of your car you cannot see the end of the rice farm

please before you type you need to think. Niger Republic is above Nigeria and it is totally landlocked. Somebody will take the rice from Benin Republic all the way to Niger Republic which is above Nigeria and bring their rice down to Nigeria again does it make sense when you can just use Benin Republic of Cameroon to do the job of the rice. The biggest rice market in Nigeria is in south west and East region. It does not make any sense somebody transporting Their rice all the way from Benin Republic through niger Republic down through the north of Nigeria down to the south of Nigeria it will not be profitable.most of the rice is coming from the Chad basin or lake Chad . I just wish you could read French niger Republic plants 10000 Hector's of rice around the Chad Basin
