Gordinho can't stop Aalborg defeat
Kaizer Chiefs defender Lorenzo Gordinho featured for Aalborg BK in a 2-0 friendly defeat yesterday as part of an overseas trial.
Gordinho played 90 minutes against German club Hoffenheim but was unable to prevent the Danish team from going down to their Bundesliga opponents.
Aalborg’s official website reports that “already after three minutes had guest performer Lorenzo Gordinho cleared the ball on the line, and shortly after the Germans once more had a shot attempt over the crossbar”.
The club also reports that “head coach Morten Wieghorst had chosen to start with a good mix of young and experienced forces for today's test match in which they were playing a total of 20 players”.
Hoffenheim dominated a one-sided game at the Dietmar-Hopp-Stadion in Sinsheim, and Gordinho was kept busy throughout. The Germans scored from an Aalborg defensive mistake and then on the counter-attack, and were 2-0 up before half-time.
The Kaizer Chiefs defender is hoping to win a contract at Aalborg after spending time training at English Championship side Fulham, with Portuguese passport simplifying matters should he win over coach Morten Wieghorst by January 17.
The centre-back's Amakhosi teammates Ryan Moon, Siyabonga Ngezana and Emmanuel Letlotlo have returned to Naturena following their spell at Craven Cotta

Proverbz, oga, NDA officer didn't scam you. My younger bro got the admission last year-(68RC). I could remember he was in Whatsapp group of 68RC applicants then EK16 ( 16 names came out initially on the list) then EK13 (13 names that got admitted after the interview)
Did you join any Whatsapp group for JOS NDA applicants, candidates? if you did, it's possible that one of the guys in the group must have scammed you and it may be remote.. You can sue NDA.
nah am not in any of such group tho
I only suggested that it could be a possibility
the moderator who pushed it to front page completely changed the heading and every body wants to kill me
Jobs/VacanciesHow A Nairalander Was Scammed By A "Nigerian Defense Academy Staff" by PROVERBZ(op): 2:47pm On Jan 10, 2017
OK today about 10am in the morning , my dad rushed back from work called me and then handed me his phone, the man on the other end of the line claimed to be an officer by name ayuba working at the nigerian defence academy in Kaduna,
we was saying something about the school re inviting me again for another interview after I had already been disqualified by the board earlier last year.

My dad had put in a lot of effort in order for me to get admitted. into that school so that it was a great news to us more like a second chance for us we drop all our suspicions of the call being a scam when the caller mentioned my full name and the name of my dad, at this point we were willing to do any thing cuz the news kind of sounded true.

The caller now asked for payment so he could buy us form we live in jos so it was a relief because he said the administration would stop selling the purchasing of this form as from tomorrow

We then enquired how we would make the payment, he said we should send mtn recharge card of 3000 naira and send to him

My dad knew how much I wanted to be at the academy so he didn't want the blame on him may be because he didn't do enough so he bought the card and sent it to him

Then we asked him what's next he told us to wait he would get in touch with us, after some time he called back again saying he had to do something about medicals and it required 7000 naira now my dad began doubting him as he refused to give us his account name and number for payment he was insisting on payment in form of recharge cards my dad refused

Then he became furious and said if we don't believe in him we should just forget and he refused to refund the money we sent to him earlier on

We tried calling him since then but his phone has been switched if since then
I don't understand how people live by scamming other people

The surprise about this is how he got my contact information I only submitted this to Nigerian defence academy so this scammer must be somebody who works at the academy

If Nigeria was a better country I might have considered sewing them to court

I think the point he's trying to make is alot of 9ja people you meet in Nairobi want to speak to the locals in pidgin. We don't speak pidgin in these parts. Our pidgin is called Kiswahili, and is spoken by virtually all literate kenyans and Tanzanians. Half of DR Congo speaks it as well. Add to that number a significant number of Rwandans and Burundians. Few Ugandans but a growing number of South Sudanese born and bred in Kenya and who live in Kenya more than they do in their own country.
That makes kiswahili the only truly African language that has many cross border speakers, regardless of colonial history. The only truly African lingua franca.
I understand its not as if pidgin is a Nigerian thing but I bet u all those countries u mentioned know what pidgin sounds like

Very well said.
In fact, here in Kenya, u would be deemed mad speaking that kind of English. I'd say it's perhaps only the Nigerians (West Africans in Kenya) who are excused to use that brand of English, but even then I have noticed in certain cases some Kenyans getting quite exasperated with the West Africans talking like that cos they find it hard to understand what they are saying. Some Kenyans associate that language with criminals (ie the drug-dealers,smugglers, forgers).
And it is quite unfortunate that too many Kenyans associate Nigerians with these sorts of vices. Would any right thinking Kenyan parents permit their children to talk like that? Never!

Pidgin, Nigerian or Jamaican.......is strongly frowned upon here.
who do u want to believe this now

aiee I could pull out many pictures and videos of people from this region jumping and rolling on the floor even fainting

when nigerian artist host concerts which they always sing in this language

be it Kenya Tanzania what and what

are u telling me Kenyans don't want to be profiled as touts smugglers

but worship and adore this same set of people well not like I give forks

pidgin is a phenomenal thing here in west Africa and oh yes ave also seen musicians from those regions trying to sing in pidgin

they guy hasn't even made any appearance yet

good thing there is this oda Togolese player at rivers united he also got called up if the teams can fix their pitches and we get more TV time our league might go places under shehu dikko

waiting for government to fix bad pitches is a waste of time they can start raising funds for DAT buy hiring musicians to host shows and the profits would be used for DAT

think think

Which major sports? You must be deluded, when it comes to sports Nigeria is not our peer

Correction: you do not have the second best movie industry. It's the third biggest in sheer volume. You guys produce 5O movies a day and all of them shhty. South Africa has movies with Oscars and many are screened on international movie festivals, clearly you might be big but we arte the best
