The writer mainly expresses concern on how the girl child has been programmed to take the back seat mentally and ONLY use her "talents" to get what she wants. You are very correct. A lot of shallow mindedness on this forum, judging from the way people are attacking the Op. Her message is clear, her concern is understandable. |

dominique: They know you're telling the truth but they wouldn't want to admit to the error from their end. God save us from Nigerian banks. You are absolutely correct. Several years ago, my brother went to bank and was paid N6,000 over the counter. He came back into d house beaming with happiness on the twelve (mint) notes of N500 bills he was paid with. I took a closer look at the notes and said bro, these are fake notes. At first he was like, how cud dat be possible, at a cashier's desk!! I told him I'm surprised too, but dat unfortunately is the fact here. I educated him on the notes in his hand and advised him to immediately rush back to the bank and raise hell on the cashier. He did so, and summary, the cashier changed the notes in a manner that suggested she knew what she did. |

dingbang: FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Question : What accounts can I access on the First bank Mobile App?
Answer: All the accounts you have with First bank. This may include Current, Savings, Domiciliary , Visa Dollar and Naira card accounts.
Question: Is the mobile app secure?
Answer: The app is situated in a highly secured environment to protect your account on the App. The App is PIN protected. The PIN is uniquely linked to the App on your device. All transactions on the App are validated by either a transaction PIN known only to you or the Bank's issued token. All these are in addition to the security measure put in place to ensure that your transaction information is protected from intruders.
Question: What can I do on the App?
Answer: You can transfer funds to accounts in First bank or any other bank in Nigeria, pay utility and other bills, buy airtime from any GSM operator in Nigeria for any number, search, book and pay both local and international flights, save beneficiary phone and account number, manage cheques and keep up with your lifestyle through the loop
Question: Do I need to have an account with first bank before I can enjoy this wonderful service ?
Answer: Yes, if you do not have an account yet, kindly locate the nearest FirstBank branch and open a bank account with ease.
Question: I have forgotten my m-pin, what should I do?
Answer: You can reset your m-pin on the app by choosing a new PIN and answering your security questions correctly. For you to reset your m-pin, please click the get help icon on the sign in page of the app and you will be asked to input the answers to your security questions.. Easy.
Question: Why do I need to register security questions and answers?
Answer: You will need your personalized security questions and answers to reset your mPIN , transaction PIN, manage beneficiaries etc
Question: With the introduction of Transaction pin, do I still need a token for my transactions?
Answer: Token will only be required when you exceed your transaction limit of 500,000NGN for the day.
Question: What if I change my mobile phone or phone number?
Answer: You can install and activate the App on up to 10 devices. Lets say you buy a new phone, install the First mobile app in the new phone and click on Activate this device You will be sent an OTP, input it and other information required and click save. The transaction limit without token initially was 50,000. This made a lot of people including me to apply and be issued a hard token at a cost of N2,000 plus. Not long after, FirstBank now reviewed the daily limit to 500k, making the expensive token to be next to useless for many. Why is the token not returnable and the charge reversible?? |

snipesdam: Kazeem Friend. OP don't try it ooo!!! You can only use engine oil in a case where you have a bad power-steering which is leaking badly. Instead wasting money on ATF you then use used engine oil pending when you change the unit completely. Ok bros. No leaks, the level in the reservoir has been constant. The steering has also been working smooth and perfect. Tanx a lot. |

adanny01: It does happen that the compressor could go bad. However, it is unlikely because the compressor is usually inactive without AC on. The clutch may not be engaged so only the pulley of the AC compressor is spinning. Unless the is a clutch problem.
Any of the belt driven parts that is making the sound can be checked by hand after belt is removed. All the pulleys spin normal & noiselessly wen the belt is removed. I'm just being very careful with these our mechanics, with what I experienced with d other car. A heavy & embarrassing grinding noise from the same region, worse than the present case. The mechanic said the power steering pump is dead & needs to be changed. That was after changing about four different engine shocks at my expense. The second said d same thing. It was d third that examined the pump pulley and saw dat one of the 13mm nuts is missing; he replaced it, and everything became perfect and smooth again till date. I'll make a thorough check before replacing any component. Thanks a lot. |

adanny01: If its a whining sound, then it is caused by either short in ps oil or air in the system. Usually, air gets in through the sunction side which is usually starting from the reservior to pump. A broken pipe or dried oil seal are usual causes.
If it is air, you will notice the reservior foaming or bubbling
The pump also has a bearing and it could fail.
To check for this, remove the belt and spin the pump pulley manually observing the noise. Thanks brother. It's a grinding noise, not whining. The belt was removed & the pulley checked: it seems perfect. I'm tempted to think the noise is from the AC compressor (below the steering pump); but the noise is d same whether or not the AC is on. |

Can the gurus in the house help me plz.
My car is having this low cracking noise in the region of the cluster of pulleys. A mechanic said it's the power steering pump. My friend confirmed this but said since the power steering is working perfectly, I don't need to change it, that all I need to do is to drain the power steering fluid and refill with a particular brand of engine oil (whiz).
His reason: something of a gap in d steering pump which makes the power steering oil too light for it; that the engine oil being thicker/gummier will take care of it. He said he did exactly the same thing in his car (w201, same as mine) and the noise disappeared, and d car has been working perfectly.
I need advise please. Thanks in advance. |

MrMcJay: It's Sahara Reporters again! The nemesis of thieves and looters.
In Nigeria, once you are accused of an offence and being tried in court, you are presumed innocent and the job of the prosecution is to prove that you are guilty. Even if you keep quiet in court the prosecutors mess up their case, you win.
One innovative way to fight corruption cases is that persons accused of offences related to corruption should be presumed guilty. It is now left for the accused person to prove beyond reasonable doubt that he is innocent. Lol. Your last paragraph sweet me eh. Something close to strict liability offences. Once you have or live larger dan your means, you must prove ur innocence. The Inquisitorial. Maybe we need it for the time being. |

Ikenna351: It appears it you didnt undesrstand my ealier posts here. I said, do not buy and pour in anything that has "injector cleaner" stamped on the label. I never said dont ever use injector cleaner.
Most of the injector cleaner you see in car parts shops and some filling stations are mere chemicals mixed together to destroy people's vehicles. There is a popular brand i do not want to mention its name, but what is inside is just some colours and stuffs that will try to clean off dirt, but will after create more issues. There are so many of them out there. Some have good reputable brand names, but they never came from those companies. You should understand me now.
My point is, if I want to buy TOTAL fuel system cleaner, i will visit any of their stations and buy it from there. I wont buy any brand that is not Total in that station, neither will i will buy the Total fuel system cleaner from the market or car parts shop, because what may (most times "is" , not be from TOTAL. TOTAL will not sell you a product of theirs in their station that will bring bad name to them and kill their business. But if you buy another brand from TOTAL station which is not theirs, you are on your own. Workers or managers of some filling stations bring in their goods like the injector cleaner to sell to customers when their company own goes out of stock. Some will even advice you to buy the one without their company's name, even when the company one is available, staring back at you as you are refilling your tank at the pump. Been there.
Even in US, a lot injector cleaners that dont work are their in their market. Techron is of the best so far acknowledge to be safe to use and will do a thorough job. From reviews, others were reported to clean the injectors, but would cause more havoc after. Techron might not be the only good one out there, you will just have to find them.
I dont see how your injectors will get clogged when dirts are not getting there. Thats the work of fuel filter. Yes, an injector cleaner will decarbonise your combustion chambers, only if its a good one.

Christianity Etc › Re: Why Nigerian And Ghanian Churches May Soon Be In The Shoes Of Turkey by Provie(m): 11:52am On May 15, 2016 |
timibofa: Turkey is in the present day Europe and partly in Asia. •Apostle Paul was a citizen of Turkey because Tarsus exists in Turkey. •Christianity existed in Turkey for about 1,023 years while Christianity has only existed in Nigeria and Ghana for 172yrs starting from when Rev. Birch Freeman came to Badagry in 1842. •The seven churches Jesus spoke to in Revelations 2 & 3(Ephesus, Smyrna, Pergamum, Thyatira, Sardis, Philadelphia and Laodicea,) existed in the old Turkey. •The disciples were first called Christians in Turkey(Antioch) •Turkey once had the largest Christian auditorium in Europe called Hagia Sophia in Constantinople. •Mary the mother of Jesus was taken to Turkey by Apostle John and till date, her room has become a tourist centre.
TURKEY TODAY
•Present day Turkey now has 96% muslims & 0.02% Christians(less than 130,000). •The Hagia Sophia(once largest church in Europe) was taken over by muslims and converted to a mosque for over 400yrs and later used as an Islamic Museum
WHY CHRISTIANITY COLLAPSED IN TURKEY
•Emphasis on doctrinal differences weakened the Turkish church. •Rivalries amongst denominations •Petty politics in church coupled with ethnic biases. •The Turks were building big cathedrals instead of building men. HOW IT HAPPENED
•Osman Ghazi discovered the disunity amongst Christians and used it to fight a Jihad that led to a mass genocide of the Armenians, the Hellen and Turks of that day. In fact, the weapon of war used was designed by a Turkish Christian. •Many Christian women converted to Islam to save their lives and some were raped and killed. •Osman Ghazi started the Ottoman empire which gave muslims political post and made it a religion of the state.
IS NIGERIA/GHANA HEADING THE WAY OF TURKEY
•Virtually all the mistakes the church in Turkey made, the Nigerian/Ghanaian church have made it. •We are building Cathedrals at the expense of discipling men. •Disunity amongst churches •Ethnicity in the church •Denominational rivalry, etc. •Sharp division along doctrinal lines MORE FACTS
•The spiritual foundation of Turkey is stronger than that of Nigeria/ Ghana and Christianity existed for over 1000yrs in Turkey unlike ours which is just 172yrs but Islam Radicalism uprooted it. If it can happen in Turkey, it can also happen IF we are not careful. •The menace of Boko Haram has destroyed a lot of churches in the Northern Nigeria and it may take another 200yrs to evangelize Borno State alone. •There is a secret agenda to Islamize Nigeria and other African nations as contained in Abuja declaration of 1989.
DON'T SAY IT CAN'T HAPPEN HERE, IF WE DON'T RIGHT OUR WRONGS AS A CHURCH.
SOLUTION
•HEART-FELT Intercession •Aggressive evangelism- the terrorist reached out to the youths in the norths first and gave them AK-47 and bombs, if we had reached out to them on time, they'll be carrying BIBLES today. •Mission support:-God is holding the church responsible for Boko Haram, yet we are blaming the government. If we had supported missions and missionaries, we would have those insurgents to Christ long ago. •Unity of the church is key in winning this battle. The last but not the least christians should be actively involve in politics. Enough of these muslims political office holder with islamic adgenda.
