This is an open secret. i ve heard abt sanusi through a friend when he was an official of UBA phc. and i learnt he was really an adict to women. but what is he doing with this old woman? i think she is the one offering her self which sanusi could not resist. A clear case of "the price you pay to get a job, u must pay to keep the job" even when ur job is not at stake u think it is unfortunate. |
Norajones: God pls protect my dad over there oh,,,he shall return home safely n victorious,,amen....no boko boys shall see him,,but he will see dem n kill dem on sight,,,amen ooooI joined you in that prayer to say amen! He shall surely retun home safely in Jesus name. |
ZUBY77: You must be fetching 'peace' with drums and buckets. Keep some for me..Laugh wan carry me . Guy ur wickedo, are you sure the guy will take note of the spelling error the way u correctd him? |
@ndu_chuks pls learn to concede ground when ts obvious, thats what makes u an educated person. simple econs shows thers a direct link btw foreign researv and forex demand/ supply. there are other components to it but if there is an addtion and importers demand for dolars didnt arise the addition ll remain and vise versa. pls nigerans even foreign media ve been reporting abt this economy believe it. Southafricans are seriously moving ther pension/mutual fund to invest in nig. pls learn to save if u have up to 100k invest in banking and commodity shares invest in poultry farm, paint making etc or u will be overtakng by events |
Most of u that commented here apart from the ist person are most clueless. Did u poeple read the link? The maga university simply means a university that can take up to 150000 - 200000 student at a time instead of the current 30000 for few biggest ones. Do u know that all the nigerian universities take only 20% of people that sat 4 jamb, the rest goes to ghana, uk, ukriene japan etc taken a whooping $500m anually. out of the economy. Nigeria must move forward whether nigerians understand itor not |
E mm! Odumchi , ChinenyeN, alj harem and pagan9ja or so , Infact u people did a nice job. i ve already bookmarked this page. Though it reminds me of somethings i know before but the presentation is so interesting and refreshing. No matter what, it s still an asset to know your roots and culture. |
The topic no wonder justifies the reason behind nigeria being rated as one of the fastest growing economy in the world. There s a link btw infrastructure and economic developement with good policies. But my candid advise to nigerian youths is this; When there is economic boom, it favours creative minds that moves in the direction of economic growth drivers. therefore blue colar jobs and self employment move faster than paid employment. So people shld watch their enviroment to know where to key in |
Hi missy B, i just did a new post on akinwumi adesina and his revolution in rice production. Please i hope its on the right section? and if yes , can this make the front page pls cos i have other links to add to that |
Many international media including The economics have written articles on Dr. Adesina's revolution in rice production. Read this i'll post more later http://tribune.com.ng/news2013/index.php/en/component/k2/item/9163-fg-assures-of-enough-rice-throuth-local-production |
The promise in 2011 by the current minister for agriculture and rural development Mr. Akinwumi Adesina that Nigeria will attain rice production sufficiency by 2015 seems more ridiculous than real. But with unfolding events in that sector, even the worst critics and international obervers are begining to change their position in response to what i may call the greatest revolution occasioned by what Mr. Adesina called ATA agricultural transformation agenda. |
solomon111: For those who don't know; There 're implicit conditions attatched to winning nobel price, which analist suggested achebe my be uncomfortable with. research suggested, and besides his writing was sharp to upturn a decade of believe projected by whites, the same people that give nobel price |
[quote author=AwodwaGyanOniwe]@Otum By 2050 onwards I can assure u Nigeria will still be LEADING AFRICA IN POVERTY. BIGGEST NUMBER This sutesayer can you answer these simple questons? 1. why is s.afrcas economy is growing at 2.6% while nig at over 7% 2. why do nigeria presently has more employment opportunities than s.africa 3. why is it that economy of lagos alone is bigger than kenya the biggest economy in east africa 4. why is it that the biggest companies in s.afrca; the stanbc group, shoprite, tiger,sabmller... including Jacob zuma are heading to ngeria for investment 4get about the almajris actvities in the north it wont affect any thng going by the plans govt has 4 them |
[quote author=AwodwaGyanOniwe]Theres nothing to celebrate on this REBASING STORY. Other than its just crooked politicians who are just trying to u happy by this nonsense. This still doesnt benefit ORDINARY NIGERIANS. Number one spot with million of people living in poverty, poor roads, poor electricity supply etc.. This is a list of countries by electricity production per year based on multiple sources. Rank Country/Region Electricity production (GWh)[1] Date of information N/A World Total 21,325,115 2010[2] 1 United States 4,325,900 2010[2] must u quote this your(only fact u know to) stuff all the time? every postve thng abt nigeria you start disagreeing wthout understanding. theres unemployment in nigeria do u knw that unemploment in spain is up to 30% yet power generaton is far more than nig. how many job recruitment have taking place btw 2012 till now estimated over 3m jobs. if it continues gdp/capita ll n next 5 yrs hit $5000 then total gdp ll be ov $1tr nig economy is under estimated |
Why then do we have media? its to inform people abt what is happening. i travelled to my village i was amazed what govt is doing there. if for instance i didnt go and heard it ill be arguing. 10,000k is what you called social security, this the ist time its done in nig. may be you people ll beleive imf report on what this govt is doing . http://www.google.com.ng/gwt/x?gl=NG&hl=en-NG&u=http://www.ventures-africa.com/2013/03/nigerian-economy-to-experience-over-7-recovery-in-2013-imf |
Still on ngige , If u watch last election he got blocked vote from entire idemiri north/south . Yes he did wonderful there thats why the y keep voting him but he CANNOT win the entire state. do u knw that b4 now going to ekwulobia from onitsha once u pass nnobi its exact feeling u have when u pass asaba and enters head bridge b4 now. Frm glory to mud, now go to ichida, azigbo, igboukwu, oraeri, amichi, ekwuru, osu, ufuma, ajali, nanka, aguluzigb ufuma- amasea and see road. ngige my foot |
re@lchange:obi cant rule for 8 yrs and somebody from his kindred wil succeed. so akunyiri is going for senate. dont even mention ngige again, a man that doesnt think b4 he talks after okija shrine and chris uba saga went and constructed his LG roads go to nnobi and alor all lg roads are tared @ the expense of the entire state. |
I know most of you shouting ngige are from idemiri north/south LGA, u think thats where Anambra ended im sorry, mark my words ngige will not win anambra govenorship election soludo may win if APGA could not put their house in order. So its 1. olisa obaze sec. to state govt APGA or 2. c. soludo if he wins PDp ticket dont under estimate the power of Apga which is stil popular in anambra north, half in central and more than half in south, and obi recently awarded over 25b projects in those areas |
Victor ume is a confused man, power drunk, arrogant, selfish, greedy and above all a hypocrite. how do u think u can rule a political party as if its ur fathers biz while you re the eldest son? yet u ploted and removed okorie. A knight or day in the catholic church ROSSIKE, with due respect, (cos im not against ur belief) Victor umeh should ve quit his knighthood, leave christian religion alone. Anyway i only see what happend to okadigbo @ senate coming his way sooner or later. |
Former interin chairman of All Progressive Grand Alliance APGA Maxi okwu was this afternoon in Awka elected as the new chairman of the party alongside other excos. Nothwithstanding, the ruling of Enugu appeal court later today will put to rest the agelong crisis in the party. http://www.google.com.ng/gwt/x?gl=NG&hl=en-NG&u=http://www.channelstv.com/home/2013/04/08/maxi-okwu-elected-as-new-apga-national-chairman |
Really, How? no link or is just now God! its seems calamity is reigning this period in Nigeria Pls let everybody be careful |
Really, How? no link or is just now God! its seems calamity is reigning this period in Nigeria |
why is chudi ofordile crying like a alone voice in the wlderness. But his write ups always have undertone of grudges. perhaps his not been in the house or any political position is considered by him as obi's misdemeanor. but this is not ist time or may be he is seeking attention or may be there is something he know, only time ll tell. however the last time this kind of allegation came abt buying cars obi proved them all wrong with the records. lets see how this turns out. (election is near) |
The seats are done by a company in nnewi, they use Union battery made by ibeto, their AC is done by thermocool lagos their glasses are produced locally they produce other sundry parts in nnewi thats why nnewi people go to them to produce parts they cannt easily see over sea. once the base that has the 4tyre are produce and u fixe the body shelve the car is over 60% complete cos it can be driven every other thin is fix fix and paint you car is ready. pls let not limit our mind |
why is car manufacturing too complex to our mind to accept it can be done in Nigeria. i really felt bad how its difficult for ppl, evidenced they ve blocked their mind to remain underdevelop 4life. So coupling of parts is what over 4000 men are doing in nnewi and another 4000 in enugu. Mr chukwuma has said that the engines are from toyota cos ajaokuta steel is not working. the body shelves are done in d factory, dashbord, bumber inside plastic covers and other plastic compnts are done in enugu |
[quote author=esere826]1) FDI in Nigeria is not unprecidented as of today. Prior to the burst in 2007 is when we had unprecidented FDI I quite disagree with ur point 1. the FDI witnessed during 06/07 was more of portfolio investors no matter the value of such investment it doesnt count cos they dont add real value. u see how their exit collapsed the economy and NSE. right now there serious investors in rice prod. power, fabrication manufacturing. They add real value cos they cant easily pool out |
we can watch closely countries like malasia and thailand. if we want to move very fast to acheive v. 2020. its stil posible if we can adopt agressive policies.just litle moves by FG. FDI started trooping cos nig. is the market that holds the economyof many countris. so in view of any policy that ll change the game, they ll rather come in and ivest than to loose the mkt. in malasia duty for fuly built vehicle is 130% while in nigeria is 10 to 20% that alone caused revolution in their auto industry |
[quote author=ROSSIKE]Mr ive been following ur posting in this forum and and i can attest to the fact that u re a different breed of nigreians. I really respect ur intellectual capacity and reserched base comments. I somtimes wish that great number of Nigerians 'll think the way u do. Back to the topic i think GEJ has raised a lot of hope thru some right policies in agric. power, transport manufacturing trade & investment education. now let say that china and india hav outran us we can... |
Ubenedictus: read your link again, they will be reimbursed for what they spend.I stunble into the thread and perhaps felt the need to put the record straight. but u didnt read the link i posted b4 ur first comment and ignorantly asking me to do research which i had done. Then ur second post talkin abt reimbursment. go and ask the cost 5bilion in a yr then u know what obi have saved fg. pls i dont subscribe to those abismal mental exercise you poeple are doing here. Thanks. |
[quote author=Ubenedictus]Now dont tell me abt d onitcha road jonathan is constructing. This link proves my earliar posting http://www.google.com.ng/gwt/x?gl=NG&u=http://www.spyghana.com/anambra-state-to-do-portions-of-enugu-onitsha-dual-carriage-way/&ei=juFWU1EM6x1QavmYDoBQ&wsc=eb |
[quote author=Ubenedictus]sorry my dear, development can b found even in d outskirts of edo state And lastly, what roads are you talking about? You mean the one with open gutter and a capacity to burst your tires? Now dont tell me abt d onitcha road jonathan is constructing. Now i caught u jonathan is not constructing any rd in onitsha tha onitsha to amansea portion of the express is been done by Anambra state govt and it has pedestrain lane u dont expect other rds in the outskirts to have too |
food for thourth on obis style of developement. when buildings are completed or had been completed you can refurbish and do painting, but when buildings are non existence u dont have biz with paints when you have concretes and rods to deal with Again dividends of democracry is not for onitsha n awka alone though they can not deny it, but for every part of anambra and obi is giving it to everybody. We anambrarians that know more than awka n onitsha can attest to that. |
Its worthy to mention that anambra state govt is currently doing (bridge head-amansea portion of onitsha enugu express) with agreement that the Fg will pay back the state later. my phone cant do copy and paste but if you goggle anambra to do the bracket words you get it. just yesterday i got news that the gov awarded contract for the constructn of igboukwu ekwurumiri rd at the cost of 700m. and that is the ist road const on the road since God created their earth pls let anambra ppl tell dia story |
