PoliticsRe: New Igbo State To Be Created In Virginia, The United State of America-CISA by Proxytalk: 2:59pm On Mar 28, 2013
History they say evolves, i can't really figure out their ultimate agenda but one thing is certain. if igbos world over can begin to maitain their identity and be known as igbos first, from nigeria. then the igbo contribution world over will soon made igbos a strong force both at home and abroad. And again bringing in such people as innocent chukwuma, pat utomi and edem duke as chairman and special guest rsp points to thier agenda which is not extreme, but to globalise igbos thru their contribut
PoliticsRe: Did Chinua Achebe Actually Do Anything To Promote Development In Nigeria? by Proxytalk: 1:41am On Mar 24, 2013
I know this tread was created out of jealosy, but of course jealosy is a tribute mediocres pay to heros. If i should educate you a bit achebe was not an executive governor but his pen was sronger than gun. He as a matter of fact contributed so much to nigeria s development chief among them is human capital and intelectual development his first book remains a compulsory read in all colleges in the united states. His councils were as if they r from the gods yet nigeria govt did not heed
PoliticsRe: Chinua Achebe's Obituaries - A Compilation by Proxytalk: 1:30pm On Mar 23, 2013
Im so overwhemend by eulogy and encomiums being poured on late literary icon, Chinua Achebe.
The greatest lesson nigerinans especially youths should learn from him is to LIVE FOR SOMETHING,
One of the quotes that s mind blowing and perhaps most consistence is from Nelson mandela who described achebe as "a writer in whose company the prison wall collapsed"
Anambra aga enwe zi kwa udidi mmadua ozo?
still pondering... and shatterd about his demise and future of Anambra great minds

one of the most celebrated exageration in African literature .
Adiue we 'll miss u but thanks for blessing the youths of the whole wide world with ur God given wisdom thru ur books.

PoliticsRe: JTF Kills 52, Arrests 70 Insurgents With Arms Cache In Borno by Proxytalk: 9:17pm On Mar 09, 2013
Fed govt should mobilize all military formation to borno state and fight this batle once and for all. The aqim-alqaeda in the north Africa planned to penetrate Nigeria just as they did in mali startin from borno- yobe, but didnt know that Nigeria is too big for them. Now that french and nigeria troops have send them parking in northern mali including their trianing camp they lookin for where to pitch their base. So eradicating these extremist from borno may mean end of boko haram menace in nigeria

PoliticsRe: Obi Announces Plan To Build Malls by Proxytalk: 11:33am On Jan 24, 2013
Mr. Globe:
He's merely trying to save his face. AFTER 8 YEARS OF NOTHING AND NO WORK, .

No governor of anambra has done up to 30% of what obi has done may be what he is doing is not what u want to see . but ur re not beta than emeka anyaoku okonjo iweala and min of nat. planning that has rated him among best in development indices or go and check the meaning of the word 'development' its not jst putting street light
PoliticsRe: Obi Announces Plan To Build Malls by Proxytalk: 10:43am On Jan 24, 2013
Obi is a diferent politician i think. the conventional practice for nigerian governors has been to work work, towards the end of thier tenure they slow down probably to siphone funds. But as obi's tenure is ending he is becoming more aggressive to work
PoliticsRe: Anambra May Soon Be Like Lagos by Proxytalk(op): 5:37pm On Jan 13, 2013
Ok pics, may be next time i'll travel i will try and snap places.
But i ve not praised obi in onitsha. Again those towns he is opening up eg nanka rds, obeledu ora eri igboukwu rd. ichida neni azigbo road adazis rds and ihiala rds (the ones isaw with my eyes) are not ripe to have pedestrain lanes with which resources. He should do that in onitsha and Nnewi. But what i noticed in Nnewi was more of demolition may be work will start work there this yEar
PoliticsRe: Anambra May Soon Be Like Lagos by Proxytalk(op): 3:03pm On Jan 13, 2013
Sorry not curse really but sites around upper iweka and adjoining roads and touts was very appalling nevertheless i noticed from uga junct to ekeson park is quite ok and awada road i sited i think mgbemena.
But he must give upper iweka a face lift cos everybody passing through Anambra must pass upper iweka and may never have opportunity to enter inside the state to see his real developement
PoliticsAnambra May Soon Be Like Lagos by Proxytalk(op): 1:38pm On Jan 13, 2013
If the pattern of developement adopted by curent administration in Anambra state is sustained, then the state may soon be like Lagos. But being like lagos does not mean that the state ll soon boost of sky scripers in vI and marina, but in terms of disappaerance of typical villages and emergence of more towns. last time i visited onitsha i feel like cursing obi but not dis time that i visited my village, solid tared roads with drainages that cuts across towns. in my villa i saw shops springing up
PoliticsRe: Obi Shuts Onitsha Bridge-head ‘markets’ by Proxytalk: 11:38am On Jan 13, 2013
My dear you have to fold your sleaves forget government house awka and stay in onitsha for 2 -3 months to acheive results. if yuo leave it in the hands of task force those biz peps are raedy to bribe them and continue.

I visited Aba on the 19 of last month,to attend a friends wedding. And what i saw baffles me. But my major concern was not just state of the road and gullies that have araedy developed in many parts of Ph-park-factory rd axis(no wonder i didnt see better car) rather the height of various hips of refuse along the road and streets OMG! the trauma hasnt left me, as i tot abt the state of health of residents. Infact iv not seen anything lik that in naija not even during mbadinuju tenure. May God help

CoxyB: Whathuh? UBA? Smh
dont worry by the time time you want to transfer money to your brother in Gabon, Ghana or Mozambique, you must be forced to enter any Uba branch. thats why it the bank of choice in Africa.
BusinessRe: UBA Named 'African Bank Of The Year. by Proxytalk: 8:39pm On Nov 30, 2012
pple dont understand the criteria. gtb is a local bank based in nigeria while uba is a regional bank that has presence in over 18 african countries new york london and paris, maintaing each countries capital base, oiling busnesses through remitances and transfers across africa with the rest of the world that is the criteria. gtb my be best in cust. service, but it cant win african bank award cos they are just nigeria bank

Akpabio looks so domineering. few times av seen him on teli he start and talk all the talk and conclude all be himself. Lesson: dont say to a man u cant do any thing cos a man will always do something.
Any way kudos to Mr ekere, some persons would have keep their head dow .bn no matter what as is the case with nigerians
PoliticsRe: PHCN : The Darkness Is Slowly Creeping Back by Proxytalk: 8:26pm On Oct 31, 2012
Nigeria is a funny conutry. what do you expect when the only min whose score card probably was rated excellence by opposition and GEJ haters resigned or asked to the resign. Then some people that have been managing the illusion called PHCN started jubilating. i even hrd dat some went to church to do thanksgiving to their god/God i am yet to know. Now a question. why were they sad and agrressive while power was improving and have now calm down when the whole thing is gettn worse ?

PoliticsRe: Mimiko’s Victory, End Of ACN In South-west – Afenifere by Proxytalk: 8:53am On Oct 25, 2012
I used to think tha ACN is our alternative party until recently during the local govt election in Lagos state. A party that can not get it right during election is not set to advance democracy and can not win the heart of Nigerians as alternative to ruling party. and that might affect Fashola come 2015. The only democratic institution so far in nig. is GEJ
TravelRe: Dana Wins Best Domestic Carrier For 2011 Award by Proxytalk: 3:09pm On Oct 22, 2012
No wonder it crashed, because of their customer service policy of "never delay customers" they were poised to fly faulty plane. Yes they won the award but that policy caused Nigerians over 153 lives
PoliticsRe: Chinua Achebe: Why Nigerians Hate Igbo by Proxytalk: 4:38pm On Oct 20, 2012
Achebe is saying the obvious, but im still surprie that non igbos of nigeria are yet to see this truth or are they pretending? achebe mentioned change, individualism and competitiveness as been igbo advantage. where were yorubas when igbos crossd river niger edo to come and take advantage of wharf installd by colonial masters. why are goods moving from onitsha to nig instaed of lagos to nig. lf you talk abt economy de sectors that has witness real change telecom- engr ernest ndukwe next pge

I am humbled and feel sober. This is not pretence, it reminds me of Jesus christ when he had compasion for weak and hungry 5000 men and decides to feed them with the only available food left for him and his disciples. It can only come from real empathetic heart
Congrats to Edo ppl cos they ve not had it so good.

PoliticsRe: Reconstructing Nigeria For Prosperity By Charles Soludo by Proxytalk: 8:53am On Sep 08, 2012
I just stumbled into this tread, Soludo rightly pointed out that the problem with Nigeria is not just leadership but unproductive structure as well that was instituted out of fear of losing Nigerias unity. But our experiment over the years has prove that continuing in that line will actually mean heading to the rocks. This generation need to do somthing to save our unborn children from this unsecured and unproductive business. And its becoming too late.

enioladeran: undecidedGEJ always going to places you are not need. Please try going to places that needs ur urgent attention. e.g Benin/Ore road, Collaped or about to collape bridged, Flodded area etc. That will make Nigerian really proud of you and have faith in your Government.
Benin ore road was awarded yesterday evening at the cost of 65.8 b to be completed in 36 months. so he is going places
PoliticsRe: Tanker Explodes In Abuja, Kills Two, Destroys 29 Buildings by Proxytalk: 3:47pm On Sep 02, 2012
please please when would evil and disaster stop in our land?
today flood, tommorrow boko haram next is accident another armed robbery. chei everyday disaster must happen.
All these boils down to the fact that safety is far fetched in Nigeria, carelessnes, our beleive system puts everything on luck instead of facts and raelity. Then economic gain paramount than safety(manage it till it dies) mentality/procastination. Its high time we consider safety of life before any thing that we do.
