V7place: But dont many Nigerians with no option, no bank loan and no job start businesses with whatever they have? Whether its a web designer who only has 20k or pure water seller who only has 5k? For sure, people can start up business with even 5k. I've given out 10k and 5k separately to different people on thier demand. The first was to start moi moi business and be hawking it while the other started frying potatoes with ponmo in front of the house. But here we should be looking beyond just getting something to do but rather something to rely upon to take you to your planned dreams. Where you can save to achieve your dreams. Sustainability is not easy when it comes to this type of business. |

WaterPurifier: You grab
Online business model is what I'll advice any youth to start first. No time for running expenses and personal expenses like offline biz.
Most people in business you see are in debt but they wouldn't tell you. Sure. They will explain A B and C on how to run the business, but they don't understand that unforseen circumstances can occur, like giving you a wrong quality, rains can have effect on offline business, what about expenses and costs of running the business, you will still have to take care of yourself. They forget that offline business is not constant. I'm not discouraging anyone venturing into offline business, but don't try it with 50k...you’ll sink it. Online business is better with that 50k. |

WaterPurifier: 50k na small change to do business jare.
The business I spent 120k on sef only small profit was there... Nigeria Naira has no value Very true. Hardly any trade or production with 50k would last. You may start up with it but when you consider expenses in your business and personal expenses, you will run down in a short run. Doing online business with it just the best option because 50k is about $100 which is enough to risk online and thier are tendencies to make $10 per day which is about 5k. |
Business › Re: Can You Start A Business With N50,000? Prove It! by PrudencyFeats: 7:58am On Sep 30, 2020 |
V7place: Bishop Oyedepo once said something . I cant remember the exact words, but it was something like “ Give one man N20,000 and in 10 years he’s turned it into a billion naira business. Give another man N20,000 and he’s broke before the end of the day”.
I heard a story that in 1990, both Sir Shina Peters and Jim Ovia made and spent N10 million ; one built a manson which is still standing in Lagos today; the other started a bank in his siting room, the name of the bank Zenith!
So are you a Nigerian living in Nigeria and a member of Nairaland? Can you start a business with N50,000 or transform an existing one? What business is that?
If you think you do, then V7Place.com has 50k for you!
Simply do the following:
1) Briefly state (a) What the business is. ( b) How you intend to use the 50k (c) How you expect to make the money back. Make It simple without divulging your “trade secrets”. Post it here on Nairaland and v7place.com. We suggest not more than 5 paragraphs or 150 words.
2) Requirements: (a) You must have been a member of Nairaland for at least 30 days and must have had at least 1 post. (b) The winner consents to having their online username, name and picture publicly announced on the forums.
3) We will follow up to see if you did what you said you would and If you did, there's a prize for you.
On November 30th the winner will be announced. It was a comparison between Shins Peters and Jim Ovia. While Shina built a house worth 20 million naira in 1990 Jim secured a banking license with same amount in 1990 named Zenith bank - the largest bank in Nigeria today. Its good to be educated for knowledge on how to invest. |

Politics › Re: Naira Is More Valuable Than Dollar And Pound. Ignorance Is Killing Us. Wake Up! by PrudencyFeats: 11:38am On Sep 24, 2020 |
rottennaija: Explain how. He made a serious point. He said N500 will buy you a pack of bottle water right? Now how many bottle water can you buy with N500 in the US? With $1 you buy a pack of bottled water here! Therefore $1 = N500 Meaning there money is 500 times higher than your own. Hope you learn small here. |

Oracleforce: Edo no is Lagos and Lagos no be Edo....
Edo no be northern region and southwest regions
PDP can perform. their magic within southeast and south-south regions..... Lets be frank, its not about magic. In Edo, Oshiomole was drunk with power and believed in federal might... One of the reasons Edo was won by PDP For subsequent elections before 2023, you too can see how the country is being messed up by federal government in all aspects and since we don't have guns to push them out we only have our votes. The greedy old fools we elected to checkmate thier excesses to ensure balance have been bought over and made an ordinary rubber stamp. Group of men that the entire nation hope on. So pathetic. So seing their name on ballot again reminds us of failed promises 6 years counting.... |

They are regrouping and looting and you are celebrating them. Yesterday they are in PDP today APC and tomorrow back to PDP. Una no get sense for this country? As it stands now, PDP we now realised they are more of national party than APC. Yes we know they are the same and not free from curruption and looting. But we know the better one, where every Nigerian feel represented both in appointments and otherwise. From there we can restructure. Not a party that don't believe to restructure a failed structure. |

tesppidd: Stupid excuses and analysis.
It does not matter what caused what.
What matters is that the people are being led by a party they did not vote for.
That is the crux of the matter.
Bayelsa and Zamfara people are being denied true democracy because of the misbehaviour of politicians.
Yoy cannot call Imo a true PDP state and shy away from calling Bayelsa and Zamfara APC states. At the bolded... It means they are not worthy to govern them. My brother if you have 1 million naira in a bank and out of urgency you can't withstand the queue, you now rushed to the counter and took 200,000 to yourself with out normal procedures and told the cashier you have more than that in your account. Though its your money but you will be arrested and treated like a thief. Most of APC politicians see themselves as gods is their respective states and can call the presidency whom they know do not respect the rule of law. That is thier problem. Yes they were voted for but came in a crooked way. |

pquaver: Why are you not sad that bayelsa is pdp when the people voted APC? Or you not sad about zamfara? On Zamfara APC had no legally conducted primiries, APC shot itself On Bayelsa APC deputy candidate shot his party Their own matter was constitutional, no body is saying APC did not win there, even PDP knew they were defeated. But they did did fulfill all legal requirements. But that of Imo state was broad day light robbery by the Supreme Court.
Hope you understand the differences now. |

He have not finished paying his dues to Oshiomole and the Supreme Court. Check very well, he contributed Imo money in Ize - Iyamu and APC election recently. He will ever be loyal to his oshomole for fighting Rochas through and delivering him to Imo state through the Supreme Court with aid of Abba Kyari against the wishes of the people. |
