OGA, go and take several seats. Mark NEVER called himself a Christian and this post of yours doesn't even point to him being a Christian as Judaism is not Christianity and Mark belongs to Judaism which your post about him giving Jewish prayer lends credibility to

The Jews don't believe in Jesus

He didn't categorically say he's a Christian, agreed. But remember we have Jewish Christians. But all I'm concerned about is that he now believes in religion and he's no longer an atheist.
Remember he and his wife visited Pope in Italy 2016 as well given reverence to his teachings. Or does Pope practice Judaism?

..can u point to me where he actually said so..

I only pinpointed few of his conversation. Search for his conversations on net, you'll see it yourself. And as you can see he categorically said he's NO longer an atheist cos the scales the devil has planted on his eyes and heart has fallen off. Infact, he even ended one of his conversations with a Jewish prayer at Harvard University recently.

I catch myself humming church songs unconsciously once in a while though.

I so much love this part... No need to keep mincing words, I personally crave to see a notable personality like you back in Christendom which is the right path and I've been taking that up in prayers lol. Even Mark Zuckerberg of Facebook who was raised Jewish and later became an atheist is now a believer. He was asked December 2016: aren't you an atheist? He replied "No. I was raised Jewish and then I went through a period where I questioned things(making reference to atheism) but now I believe religion is very important."

Imagine, UI Zoo are looking for where to buy life Elephant and this pauper hunter just killed one in the South West region of Nigeria for that matter which is very rare. Must we kill everything in Naija? Common mosquito sef, we go kill lol...

Read below;Guys, on my way to Kaduna with four other people for a church programme, we were all busy making corrections on the flyer that we had to share at the venue...

The scariest part was the impact, can’t even explain it……….but GUESS WHAT? Five of us all came out alive...

When you're on God's course/mission, you're heavenly guided. I'll never forget the day the Lord delivered me from a ghastly accident on my way to Cannaland when our vehicles break suddenly failed on high motion while on 3rd Mainland Bridge and it almost swerved into the Lagoon, thank God for the pavement by the bridge and as well miraculously stopping the vehicle at Oshodi without any head on collision. It wasn't funny mehn
Later, some atheists will start accentuating God does not exist because they can't see any proof of His existence. May the scales in their eyes fall off in Jesus name. Amen!

Religion / Re: Is Atheism A Belief Or Lack Of Belief by psalmiel(m): 4:44pm On Mar 02, 2018
Seun:

If God wants to have a close relationship with us, it makes sense for him to start by doing things that undeniably demonstrate his existence. Would you marry someone who refused to meet you in person, talk to you directly on the phone, or even send pictures of him/herself?

Hmm... John 4 vs 24 says "God is a Spirit (a spiritual Being) and those who worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth (reality) AMP. And the dictionary defines a spirit as "the non-physical part of a being which is the seat of emotions and character"
So therefore, man can only relate with God through his spirit man which is invisible cos a man is a triune nature: he is a spirit, he has a soul and he lives in the body.

But only a believer (born again) can enjoy a sweet relationship with this invisible God as though He's visible. And that was why Jesus was saying to the unbelievers in John 5 vs 37-47 "And the Father, who sent me, also testifies on my behalf. You have never heard his voice, or seen His face, and you do not keep His message in your hearts, for you do not believe in the one whom He sent. You study the Scriptures, because you think that in them you will find eternal life. And this very Scriptures speaks about me! Yet, you are not willing to come to me in order to have life. I am not looking for human praise. But I know what kind of people you are, and I know that you have no love for God in your hearts. I have come with my Father's authority, but you have not received me; when, however, someone comes with his own, you will receive him. You like to receive praise from one another, but you do not try to win praise from the one who alone is God; how, then, can you believe me? Do not think, however, that I am the one who will accuse you to the Father. Moses, in whom you have put your hope, is the very one who will accuse you. If you had really believed Moses, you would have believed me, because he wrote about me. But since you do not believe what he wrote, how can you believe what I say? GNB

To cut the long story short Boss, the honest truth is that God exists and He speaks audibly with His majestic voice. I bet you'll be scared when you hear His majestic voice for the first time. Although God speaks in three different ways:
1. Through His Word(Bible)
2. Through the inward witness( The Holy Spirit) and
3. Through His audible voice as a man speaks with his friend.
I'm privileged to be one of the benefactors and I'm not cajoling you here and I'll like you to read this book by Kenneth E. Hagin "HOW TO BE LED BY THE SPIRIT OF GOD"
But I'm assuring you if you can rededicate your life to Him and believe He exists and then ask Him this genuine question from your heart: "Father, if truly you exist speak to me audibly" you'll be surprised I tell you... And mind you, there can never be an answer without a question.

I'd have love to share some of my experiences with this invisible God but it's gonna be long and time consuming.
Thanks

My evidence against the existence of God is that despite numerous efforts by religious people to prove his existence, they've failed. If God existed, proving his existence wouldn't be so difficult unless he was deliberately hiding from us. If he's hiding, shouldn't we stop bothering him?

Permit me to ask this questions;
What did you mean by the bolded words above?
Is it until you see God just like in person before you can believe in his existence?

I've never liked this Freeze of a thing but from my point of view, this movie is truly overrated and I was so disappointed the day I watched it cos it wasn't up to my expectations with all the hype. But to be candid, the black guys tried cos it's not easy.

The end of discussion is whether the movie is overrated or not, they've raked in their millions of dollars and still raking in...

Next time do your research before jumping to attack people. He was making reference to an Elsevier Ranking of Computer Science Research. Elsevier in case you don't know is where all universities drop their quality research work - including the likes of Harvard, Stanford and co. The particular ranking you were referring to is a 4icu.org ranking that is completely unacceptable by Nigerian Academia because it only measures the Popularity of Websites

Just imagine the energy these youths vested in a baseless argument. What is the point trying to prove which is better. Is there any Nigerian university in the top 500.

Let us try to better ourselves, challenge ourselves, and pursue self development..
Some of the people arguing can't even remember when last they picked up a book to read.

By the way I did a 2year dip in Uniben, but graduated from Cu. Both have their pros and cons, but I'll say whilst CU made me book smart, Uniben definitely taught me to be street smart and in a country like Nigeria, you need to exhibit both to go the extra mile.

But sis, we have a Nigerian University among Top 1000 which is UI and it's the only Nigerian University among Top 1000 Uni's in the world.

Education / Re: Public And Private University Students Battle On Twitter For Supremacyy by psalmiel(m): 1:11am On Feb 26, 2018
What's the noise all about? CU is the only Nigerian University among the Top 10 African Universities (Computer Science); and it ranked 3rd just behind University of Johannesburg (1st) and Cairo University (2nd).

We Nigerians just argue blindly without facts. Why will the lady's company hesitate to employ CU's Comp. Sci graduates when they are the best in terms of rigorous practicals and not just basics unlike Fed. Uni, exposure (most of them goes for summer camp in UK Universities during holidays), uninterrupted power supply to enhance effective learning since inception of CU amongst other...

If you own a company, won't you want to hire the best? Or you want to keep an intelligent fool on your pay roll? (but the bolded word in this context is not actually referring to Fed. Uni graduates alone) cos I'm also a UI undergraduate.

In conclusion, the honest truth is that, there are numerous Fed. Uni genius but CU's Computer Science Department deserves credit here cos they are representing this nation as a whole at the international stages.

But since you've been admitted on UI's portal, definitely the prob is from JAMB.

Oh.. Never knew sha.. All schools I know,( except for some private universities that do not even allow their students cook) allow the use of cooking gas in the halls of residence. It's the second choice after hotplates.

Leaves me to wonder why UI won't allow us to use hotplates and cooking gas.

Infact, they went extra mile by banning cooking generally. It was when students started their protest before it was reinstated but only limited to stove officially.

I don't think it's possible for clearance to be done online cos it's gonna give room for ...? You should know. So maybe what they're trying to depict is that the clearance date and venue will be posted online shortly.

Another thing I'll like to point out is that a lot of new students come into school with all the glory of the past. Fact is whatever you were(good student or poor one) prior to UI is history, a new phase is about to begin. I've seen poor students prior to UI thrive like never before & also great students capitulate. The choice is always yours to make.

One thing that has helped a lot of people like myself is learning from people ahead of you. When you stand on the shoulders of giants you'll see the world better. I'll tell a story of myself. I did a particular course in 100 level, a mathematical course. I was good in maths, so I thought there's no need to put in much effort, I didn't seek advice from those ahead of me. I ended with an average score in that course. While in my second year, I met two new students (male and female), gave them advice & got past questions for them. Guess what, both of them ended up having an A in the course.
Humble yourself and learn from those that're ahead of you, not those that'll discourage you but those that'll inspire you to achieve more.
Proudly a Uite, a Mellanbite. See u around.
Hope u learnt a thing or two.

Nice piece.
I'd love to be a Mellanbite as well cos I so much love history and Mellanby Hall is the first Hall of residence in UI and Nigerian Universities overall. Most of the notable alumnus have once lived in this spectacular hall.

You must be super proud bro...
