This one is deceiving himself. He just want to trend at all cost. Oniyeye |
THE WAY OUT IS TO MAKE EITHER ATIKU OR OBI THE CHAIRMAN OF INEC. THAT WAY, INEC WILL BE NON PARTISAN. CONFUSED BUNCH OF INDIVIDUALS. |
This is definitely AI. Only the gullible and unintelligent ones will believe this. |
PDP on the verge of extinction. I wonder who gave them the legal opinion to go ahead with the convention. I will be surprised if Inec monitors the convention . big time error |
Is he resting from physical exertion or mental stress ? Someone that is not yet a president is already getting tired. In any case,, it shows we are all human beings with flesh and blood.. i just hope he is teling is the truth sha. Very interesting. |
Only a fool will believe what this guy is spilling out. How can one Claim Bihari’s government is better. A government that lacked direction. A government that plunged this nation into serious economic quagmire . A government that was printing money with reckless abandon. Perhaps if buhari has had the boldness to implement the twin economic policy of subsidy removal and fx liberalization, that Nigeria would have been better than this. The current government has direction nad must be supported. Tinubu only needs to check the level of profligacy in his government |
This is stale news. I wonder it is just been featured on this platform. In any case, the marrva order has been set aside though first bank is making efforts to appeal the ruling. Nairaland should do better |
Will it be shown on dstv or where can one watch the match |
Well deserved hinour. Congrats demola. Keep excelling. |
Ckngrtads lookman as you win African male footballer of the year award. You truly deserve it. Continue to excel ademola |
It is quite obvious most Nigerians never believe any good tbing can happen in this country otherwise how do you explain why people on this chat loop could believe hook line and sinker this report by Sahara reporters without even interrogating it. It is well with ny dear country. |
Kemi has achieved her desire to become the conservative leader. We must however remember she gained prominence in British politics by riding on her negative and disparaging narrative of Africa and Nigeria. This is a lady that is always quick to make reference to negative stories about her heritage . A lady that is not proud of her cultural heritage. No wonder she has been dubbed the black face of white supremacy. |
Olisa Agbakoba should go to court and ventilate his position. Anyway, the matter is before the Supreme Court. He should allow the Court to adjudicate on it rather than taking to the media to express his view. I wonder why Nigerian lawyers make comment on a matter that is already subjudiced afterall he has a right as friend of court to submit his position to court on the matter. |
What an interesting response from the former Commissioner. Quite surprising to read that the former state executive council suspended the airport project due to objection from traditional rulers in the state. In other words, the entire members of the state executive council lacked the wisdom to know the proposed airport project was not a priority to the state. who is fooling who? |
Actions have consequences. The mantra is if you can do the time, don"t do the crime. |
No one will be exempted if revolution erupts in nigeria including you Aisha. This lady needs to be cautioned. Some of us don't have two countries. We are citizens of nigeria and proud to be. Wait for the next election if you don't like the current president. |
The date on the letter reads 12th february 2024. i hope there is no mischief here |
Odinkslu is a learned person and one expects him to have a better understanding of the issues at stake in this matter. He is obviously being mischievous for reasons best known to him. I wonder why he will just trash the conclusion of the judgment without taking into consideration the body of the judgment which resolved all issues raised in the appeal on favour of the respondent. Clerical errors abound in court judgment and this is not the ist time. Let's stop overheating the polity. |
NLC is gradually losing its relevance in this country. Nlc can't continue to hold the county to ransom especially considering our precarious economic situation.. Strike should be a last resort and not the ist option to activate whenever they have issue with government . What concerns the whole county with the issue at Imo state for crying our loud. I hope NLC has not fully turned to opposition party |
By the time judgment is delivered, I hope you will all shun sentiment and reason with sound judgment. The way these people are handling this matter, it is obvious that anything short of victory for gringory will not be acceptable to them. But then, the law must prevail even if heaven will fall. |
It Is imperative we think deeply before commenting on issues and also put our sentiment in abeyance and react to issues objectively. As at today, no competent court either in nigeria or elsewhere has found Tinubu guilty of any drug related offenses. Again, the election tribunal is yet to deliver judgment on the election petitions before it. One therefore wonders the rationale behind the comment of Aisha. I feel so ashamed of this woman. |
ITS QUITE SURPRISING NLC IS CALLING FOR STRIKE OVER SUBSIDY REMOVAL. THE SAME NLC THAT WAS IN COMA WHEN THE NAIRA REDESIGN WAS INTRODUCED. NLC IS DEEPLY INVOLVED IN LABOUR PARTY AND CANNOT THEREFORE CLAIM NOT TO BE PARTISAN IN ARRIVING AT THIS UNPOPULAR DECISION TO GO ON STRIKE. THE SAME LABOUR PARTY THAT NLC SUPPORTED CAMPAIGNED THAT SUBSIDY WILL BE REMOVED IMMEDIATELY ONCE THEIR CANDIDATE IS SWORN IN. I WONDER WHY WE ARE BEEN UNREASONABLE IN THIS COUNTRY. THE EARLIER WE KILL THIS MONSTER CALLED SUBSIDY THE BETTER FOR US. THE PRIORITY OF GOVERNMENT NOW SHOULD BE ON PALLIATIVES TO CUSHION THE EFECT. TIME FOR NIGERIANS TO RESTRUCTURE THEIR LIVES AND FACE REALITY. |
As e dey sweet us, e dey pain them. |
Well spoken Festus. Very obvious some people are yet to get over the fact that their preferred candidate lost the election. I wonder where the clergyman was when buhari obasanjo Jonathan and Yar Adua won their respective elections and were sworn in despite the court cases challenging their victory. The man should think deep before opening his mouth. |
Peter obi won the election. Atiku won the election. Inec declared Tinubu as winner of the election. Who is now the authentic winner ? |
HE WHO LAUGHS LAST LAUGHS BEST |
He has not said anything we don't know already. I would have expected him to offer solution on how to stop this menace. That's what true leadership Is all about. Not just to identify the problem but to proffer solution. |
Good deed which God will surely reward. There is however no justification for breaking the law. There is no sentiment in the place of law. A nation without law will lead to anarchy. Lagosians should rise above sentiment and abide by the law to avoid chaos. |
The autopsy was done both in lagos and Warri. This shows transparency on the part of the government. This may not be the result the family of the deceased desire but you cannot condemn an accused for an offence he did not commit neither can you even prosecute without evidence to substantiate your case. I can understand the feelings of the family but they have to move on. I also feel for the accused boys and their family. I can imagine the psychological trauma they would have suffered. I hope they get back their lives. |
Down is own by Dr Phillips. |
If indeed this guy is a lawyer, I will suggest his victims should petition legal practitioners disciplinary committee for appropriate sanctions. Such a person does not deserve to continye to be a member of the legal profession. This step may not bring back your money but a level of injury will be inflicted on him. Final counsel...never invest in a venture you are not in control. It never turns out right. I've been a victim and so I can relate. |
There is no doubt that this write up was done by someone that has sympathy for BDC. it is a well known fact that BDC has lost their relevance to our economy. BDCS are not contributing anything to our economy but are rather being used as a vehicle to launder money and equally engage in round tripping. There are several BDC owners that have turned to millionaires overnight by engaging in round tripping. I just hope CBN will stick to their policy and ensure Banks make FX available to genuine users. BDCS should source for their fx from somewhere else and not from CBN. |
