benkings: both of dem on point!....bt wizzy son forehead nawa ooo ![]() Naija girls be like "age is but a number". Well so is money. ![]() I wonder where 99cents is, she should come and vote wizkid's son simply because he is darker. |
Garri_Activist: Why dis boy head come be like kilimanjaro na? No be wiskid head be dis o. U sure say headmaster no chop inside ogudugu kpomo? possibly. That is what they call hammer head of horror. ![]() The headmaster is going to make him a headboy. ![]() |
Freiburger: Me always getting missunderstood.Yeah, banning people for breaking rule 23 and they thinking you are just being an asss, perfectly understand. |
He really does need more pics to prove his point, from different angles, especially the VIP section which in the previous photos was as empty as hell. |
Frontpage, people definitely need this. |
tpia1: no, its not.Lol! He's joking. |
Pity you did not go on with this. |

eaglechild: OJORONah mehn, Ethiopia tried but they weren't consistent. This was fair and well deserved for Nigeria. |
Goalllllllll |
ifyalways: What a "clearing". When strikers become defenders. ![]() |
IceDude: Which fine babes? Those ugly tins?Even the commentators admitted that those girls were pretty. Or did one dumb you? Oya confess. ![]() |
guonno: Truth be told, ethiopia is good.Yup, but they haven't been consistent, and Nigeria was able to take advantage of that. Big ups to Nigeria. |
fckyourman: Bleep nigerian, idiot how come Ethiopia scoresI don't know, maybe because they deserved it. ![]() |
Goooooooaaaaaalllllll |
I_am_Sylva: keshi is all mouth and no actionDon't make assumptions with only this game. We won the nation's cup. Yes we are not playing well now but that does not mean you should use it to make such a bold conclusion |
alekside: The High altitude is really killing our game. The boys got tired before 30mins.We were dull from the start. No excuse from there. |
mikeansy: we need muscle in this gameWe already have muscle. What we need is sharpness. Our players are way too dull. |
bin gbagbo: i am happy nigerians themselves are admitting the referee is being unfairIt pays to be objective. ![]() |
sylve11: The ethiopians good o.As in, the way they are playing I will even want them to go and represent Africa. |
jaydacorsair: This pitch is very bad and d weather also....Excuse upon excuse, when will we admit that we are not playing well. |
cherieb2: Something is not just right, even if we end up qualifying, this team can't come out with something tangible in Brazil. We really need players with international experience 2 spice up the team.We have more international experience than the Ethiopian team, yet see how they are making us look like kids. |
Water Break, Nigerians confused ![]() |
adegwurulez: penaltyFor where, naija don do jazz for that referee. |

2 corners, this people mean business. |
striktlymi: This is not a chit-chat = friendly conversation about things that are not very important...linkYou implied it. You said his thread could be important if you make it work. That means you can make it important. I really do not understand why you deny this. Anyways, I don't have any ish with the selfish motive when it is geared towards meeting the need(s) of others. We are all selfish when we look at it critically. Those who preach do so because they want to make Heaven, folks in paid employment, work because they want to get paid, an entrepreneur saddled with the responsibility of need identification and satisfying same, do so because he/she wants to earn profit...it goes on.So it was God who gave the selfish instinct? I thought it was the devil o. That means Jesus and God must be selfish themselves. Brother please shed more light on this bold claim of yours. a) Gives new members a sense of belonging.a) The chat thread can serve that purpose. b) I doubt if today's recognized nairalanders of the religion section needed a thread for that. If you want to be noticed you will participate in threads. Only people who want to be "famous for being famous" will need a red carpet for that, and I am sure those are not the kind of people you want in the section. c) Please correct me if I am wrong here. I thought the thread was simply for welcoming new members, not for old ones to cry about why they are leaving or what they do not like about the section. That's why there is a complaint thread for that. Very good point but the chat threads are member-driven not 'admin'-driven. Aji's thread could give new members that added feel of being welcomed to this section by the Admin.Says who? Since when was welcoming of new members become the job of the admin? I know you are really trying to defend Ajibam although he even agrees with me but this just doesn't work. That thread was meant for all the old guys to welcome newbies, and that was what was happening, it was not limited to mods. And if the admin want to welcome newbies they can also do that in the chat threads. I believe you would have followed the link to the thread and confirmed that there is some activity in it, even after it was un-stickied.I honestly think this your only good argument. Anyway please may I ask when it was stickied? I am looking for consistency and relevance. I do not think it is relevant, and how consistent could it be? If his response are inadequate and you feel the need to get a redress then you take it up with the super-mods.Lol! So if my argument is proven to be better of the two, I still have to meet the super mods, but if his is (which I am sure you desperately wish is), then there's no problem. O boy you don find mugu today o. ![]() Anyway, as a well meaning nairalander, I would have to confess that your "this is not a chitchat " stuff makes you sound like a village headmaster. Please consider stopping it. |
striktlymi: This is not a chit-chatFirst of all, thanks for colouring my post, it looks much more attractive now. Now, the beef you think beef I have for the guy is non-existent. In the thread about him giving a month long ban I spent most of the time cracking jokes and arguing with the guy he banned. Yes I did not like the taste of his post when he said the ban was just a warning, but that did not create any beef. I was absolutely objective here and got really annoyed only because I thought the thread stuff was unfair. If anyone was being biased between the two of us, it would definitely not be me. 1) What do you mean by the thread is not visible? It's the most visible thing around. Anyway for some threads, like amanfrommars thread, I could understand it not being about posts. His thread is mainly for reference. But Ajibam's thread calls for participation. And if it hadn't gotten that since the 1st of September then you really have to question it's relevance. 2) Did you see the analogy with my secondary school? A new principal, a new uniform. What's the legacy there when it's only going to last for as long as you last. The mod after you will probably give some silly excuse and replace it with his own. And did you really read what you wrote? You don't have any problem with the selfish motive and you can make the thread important? No man, it's should not be about making sticky threads important but about making important threads stickied. And you should always have a problem with a selfish motive. 3) Like you said we can ask, but I do not think it is relevant. The chat threads can serve the purpose of welcoming. You do not need an extra thread to do that. 4) Please tell me how a sticky thread can be relevant without much activity in it? And by activity I mean both posts and views. And while you are doing that also tell me why threads are stickied in the first place. 5) And if Ajibam's reasons are inadequate, we allow his thread to walk, walk away that is. 6) Agreed |
