I dey laff. I tot Nuhu ribadu and El-rufai started out. Today, El-rufai is governor and Nuhu ribadu is trying to champion a Change reform in a PDP camp.. You can't preach an APC message in a PDP gathering.. Nuhu ribadu should just do the needful, Dump their sorry-ass in the PDP and join his man El-rufai in the APC. PDP can never change.. If I was David Mark, I would have resigned with Goodluck Jonathan's departure, but our shameless greedy politicians never resign. |

BossAyuk: Even when there's a thread on Front Page to enlighten stone heads like you, you've stubbornly decided to be foolish. What sense does it make if President Buhari/Yemi Osinbanjo declare their assets to the public without due confirmation of their assertions from the CCB??
If President Buhari publicly declares his assets today, is it you who will confirm if his assertions are true or false?? What's the essence of declaring your assets in public to Nigerians without confirmation from the CCB when you can lie about anything??
You TANoids on this forum are finally confirming our fears that PDP as a party will constitute a very useless opposition.
Boy go to this thread and be wise --> https://www.nairaland.com/2348337/onyema-responds-buharis-critics-over
*Modified* The wise thing to do is wait till the CCB is done with evaluation of the contents of their Asset Declaration Form, when this is approved and released and Buhari doesn't read it out in public, you can now continue your "opposition struggle" by opening numerous threads.
Your current rants are baseless boy. It's barely 48hours President Buhari/Yemi Osinbanjo declared their assets to the CCB. The §aid guy in question Ís an ignoramus. Just let him bask in the euphoria of his folly |
Politics › Re: Asset Declaration: Buhari Should Stop Being Clever By Half by PStacks(m): 7:02am On Jun 02, 2015 |
barcanista: I find it repulsive when supporters of the government and APC try to play fast on our collective intelligence. I believe that it is patriotic to set the record straight with respect to Asset declaration.
Declaring of Asset With Code of Conduct Bureau According to the law, EVERY category of public officer MUST declare their asset before CCB.
This every government official fulfilled. The CCB Chairman in 2012 confirmed that exPresident Jonathan declared his www.vanguardngr.com/2012/09/jonathan-has-declared-assets-bureau-chairman/
This is EXACTLY what Buhari and Osinbajo did...
Note: that it isn't mandatory for assets to be declared in publicly, but mandatory to do so with code of conduct
["Public" Asset Declaration(PAD) Unlike CCB declaration, PAD declaration is subject to the wish of the office holder. Musa Yaradua in year 2000 first declared his asset PUBLICLY as Governor of Katsina state. Details of his asset and liabilities was published. In June 2007, against the advice of CCB he went ahead to publish details of his assets and liabilities and those of his wife Turai yaradua. (nm.onlinenigeria.com/templates/?a=10124) He never waited for CCB to publish it neither did Yaradua tell anyone to make demand for it by invoking the FOI law. CCB only does verification, they DON'T publish asset as declared.
For the record, even before the passing of the FOI, any citizen can petition CCB or get a warrant from the Court for the release of asset declaration form of a public officer. It doesn't translate to "public declaration" [The "Not so Smart" Buhari: While campaigning, Buhari made a pledge to Publicly Declare his asset...
Rather than public declaration, President Buhari did what every public officials have been doing by ONLY declaring with the CCB. To add salt to injury, Buhari through his Aide Alhaji Shehu Garba said Buhari has "fulfilled his promise". In his own words...
He went further to say that Nigerians can "invoke the FOI" if they want details which is not different from the norm.
For the record, there is no law that set time limit for public declaration of asset, neither is there any law that illegalise public asset declaration.
Buhari Has No History of Public Asset Declaration, Yaradua Does Buhari has served in various capacity as State Governor, NNPC boss, Petroleum Minister, PTF(special) boss and Head of State yet never has he declared his asset publicly. Buhari has no history of open asset declaration unlike yaradua.
As Governor, Yaradua never promised to declare PUBLICLY his asset in 2000, yet he did. He repeated same as President in 2007.
Finally, Buhari and his followers should understand that the image of the President will be affected if he continue to insist that "he has fulfilled his promise" by not doing what he promised to do
May God bless Us All Thank you. We have heard you sir.. Í prefer a cÓrrupt Buhari to a "Saintly" Jonathan and Ù can't do nothing about it |

Do you think the wife of a corrupt general (that was accused of stealing $2.8b in 1977, N25b during Abacha's tenure and the man that said Abacha wasn't corrupt) will wear "Aba made" watch? This is a woman whose kids are in choice schools in the Uk, this is a woman that donated over a hundred and thirty million naira to IDP in Adamawa state. This is a woman that is a "beautician" and a woman whose husband has vowed not to declare his asset public.
Pls don't be deceived, Buhari is a con artist Atleast u'l give him the benefit of doubt first. Why are u crying mÓre than the bereaved. I smell hate in what u spuke.. Just go to otuoke and GEJ would give u a boys quarters in his mansion, stop being Malicious in public space and respect ur self. |

HzRF: http://www.vanguardngr.com/2015/06/amnesty-december-termination-date-draws-ire-of-n-delta-youths-ex-militants/ The Truth is, if we are one-Nigeria like one militant commander claim, then every Nigerian needs to be trainned abroad and paid monthly stipends too, some people can't be enjoying training and stipends because they threathened the govt while some other ones watch and look and people think they are docile.. If na like that, I don't support Buhari to halt their Amnesty programme oo, but it would then mean the Amnesty programme must be extended to each and every Nigerian.. Let's face it, we all need some sort of Restitution.. We all need amnesty. Now Change has come.. We all need to change our ways, our psychic, our orientations, We all need to change our perceptions and adopt proven Nation Building Mentalities. If this country must experience Change, let's face it, I'm a die hard fan of the General, but the truth is, he's in a hard time ride of his life, I pray the problem of Nigeria won't be too much for him, cos millions of unemployed able and capable youths too that are not from Niger-Delta needs Amnesty too, cos any how you look at it, Unemployed angry youths are just a keg of gun powder waiting to explode. If Niger-delta Militants Threaten War, then let everybody kuku Head for war then, nobody is afraid of war, let the country kuku go to war and that is the end of Nigeria.. Never again will a segment of this Nation hold any other segment backward. Enough is enough, anybody that wants to leave the union should leave. If u want Biafra, go to Biafra.. If u want Lower Niger, Go to Lower Niger, If u want Arewa, Go to Arewa. And If you want Oduduwa Nation, Go to oduduwa Nation, But it would not be tolorated for one segment to hold the other segments to ransom and hinder their progress becos of Greed and selfishness that are not virtues of Nationhood. No Great Nation in the world was ever built on Greed and Selfishness and corruption. Great Nations are built by Tolerance and respect for one another. Great Nations are built on sacrifice. Great Nations are built by patriots. I think all of Nigerians Need Amnesty. Let everybody either be given Amnesty of if the pieces can't be put together, then we'l watch it put apart. If these people are trying to prove we can't Hold a Center, then thing Must surly Fall Apart. If we are One Nation Under God! Everybody Must be treated Equally.. |

What's his problem talking about probe.. He shouldn't even have mentioned it, anyway, now he has mentioned it, the probe won't be witch-hunt, it would be thorough even down to 1960, they will probe every govt but probing must start from the most recent,
