The government simply incite the crisis. A very simple approach would have suffice here. But lo! they are more interested in blood than peace. But why is it that the protest seems to centre around #Tinubu, #Lekki? The Miyetti Allah, barely 24hrs opined Tinubu wants to topple Buhari's government, killings ensued |
Please, all the mods in NL do justice to this post. Push it to FP so that the world can see what is going on in Nigeria. |
HAVE PAID FOR THE DARKNESS OF PHED WITH MY BLOOD. Fellow Nigerians, I live in an area in Uyo, Akwa without seeing electricity supply. The area is Off Idoro Road, Atai Obio Offot, Uyo. Most people here make use of generators. I came back home late on Friday about 12am. Surprisingly, I saw electricity light. On Saturday, about 4pm, I was still home, waiting for my wife to return so I can go out. As soon as she entered, we heard a knock at our gate. I went out to check, and met a man who said he came from Port Harcourt Electricity Distribution Company, PHED. I received him, we exchanged pleasantries. He asked for my electricity bill. I told him that nearly a year now, they don't bring it apparently because the area has been covered by darkness shortly before lockdown was imposed in Uyo/Akwa Ibom State. He then said I should "show me love" which I later understood to mean that I should give him money. I told him I do not have such money; that when they bring my bill, I will go to the office and pay. He said his boss wanted money, I repeated that I didn't have. He then asked me to come and meet the desperate boss. I went inside my house to get a shirt. Upon coming out to where the "boss" sat, they had already brought down the wires I bought by myself to connect light into my house. I was not happy, and complained. They said "shebi you said you don't have money." I expressed annoyance. This is a weekend, must it be in weekend! And when they wanted to go with the wire, I attempted to get back my wire. That earned me the beating of my life by men dressed in NSCDC's uniform. Six of them in addition to eight others supposedly working for PHED. They shot sporadically with live ammunition and everyone ran for safety. The Civil Defence guys hit me with their guns, my head had a deep cut, and serious wounds in other parts of my body as well as my shoulder that has dislocated. I bled unconsciously. They "arrested" me into the Toyota Camry which they used for the illegal job. They also disconnected the wire of a neighbour who is using prepaid metre because he didn't give them the money they requested. I mean he is not owing the useless PHED because he is using prepaid metre but they insisted he has to give them money. My wife and my parents were equally assaulted for attempting to rescue me. My cousin and my neighbours defied the gun shots and came for me. That delayed their whisking me away like a criminal. I began to regain consciousness and put calls to the Chairman of NUJ in Akwa Ibom State and my lawyer friends. I was about to dial the number of the PPRO in Akwa Ibom State when they snatched the phone from me. They told me repeatedly that they can kill me and nothing would happen. And they were on the way to their mission accomplishment. I was dripping blood. My red T-shirt saw red blood. When I asked them where they were taking me to, they said we were going to "cell at NEPA office.' Till now, I don't know where that is. PHED also has a cell? But the calls had achieved some effects that I used my hand to open the car, came out without their interruption. But they had already dispossessed me of all the money in my pocket. When the residents came out again, they disappeared with the speed of light. Neighbours said taking me to the hospital was more important than pursuing them. So, they ran away with the act. I was taken to Itam Police Station to incident the matter before going to the hospital from where I now fully regain consciousness to narrate my excruciating ordeal in the hands of alleged agents of NSCDC bankrolled by the worthless PHED. This is happening to me when the mood of Nigerians is still sad due to the havoc by SARS. Please, I am in pains, and I beg for support to enable the perpetrators get punished for taking the laws into their hands. Thank you. Below are the amateur photos of a brave neighbour who saw everything. It is the pictures of the actors from NSCDC and PHED.

Na lie you lie oooo! He simply wants to key in to the protest. He never meant it. Because na him go loss! They've budgeted over 120b naira for the Rubber Stamp and he cannot stop to sign the budget. Who is he fooling? Nobody cares about their budget. It has never been helpful. They only allocate funds to their purse. Who Nigeria budget epp? |
This may not go well with Nigeria. In fact, in the fist place, the protest is against the police in general, so using the same police to quell the protest may be disastrous. |
What a time to be alive! This is a tweet between Peter Obi and Keyamo. trying to upload the captured tweet but NL is not responding. Modified: Image uploaded

freeborn02:Ok. Done. Please can you quote the post(s) that pissed you off? But I still maintain my stand that "some Churches are reservoirs for Hell ". This is not disputable! It is factual. For example, just a couple of weeks ago, a court in Ondo State sentenced a Prophet over a missing child in his church. And you tell me that such a person is preparing you for heaven? Don't be so bitter, Old Prophet. |
Valto:Apart from the ceiling fans, he can just apply my friend's method, on the fridge during the day time when the sun is up and off it by 4pm. Thus, he can still have his cool stuff. |
Are you sure the feature is available on all Android phones? |
freeborn02:I don't think you even read through my posts before coming forth to attack. Please kindly go through them again, you will be glad to know that you are actually misfiring. It doesn't take much to read. Please read between lines. Maranatha! |
Nigeria is not like Islam where threats and oppression holds members to ransome. Certainly, Nigeria will break sooner or later. Nothing lasts forever! |
I don't know why anonymous hacked CBN website without credit alert to my account. I wish they do so asap |
Homeboiy:Ayade is defined as the professor who governs Cross River State with "large and big" grammar as well as high profile projects with none to show for the past 5years of his government. |
When the environment is right, things like this is sure to happen. Imagine a Nigerian student who offers chemistry as a subject but had never known how the chemicals(compounds) he quoted the formula look like. |
Let's hope you mean it. According to our Constitution, Nigeria is a federal state. Meaning, it is made up of units that are being united. Thus, by that, each federating unit ought to have a certain level of authority in the management of resources at her territory while paying tribute to the central government, this time, the Federal Government. 2. The Federal Government would only be in control of the Armed Forces, Int'l (External) Affairs, etc. 3. That rather than the FG sharing allocations to the federating states as presently practiced, the reverse would hold. 4. Each state will not wait for others or best be dragged by others. That is, rather than the present practice where most states rely on the central government for funds, they would rather explore measures to generate and grow their IGR. 5. Thus, they will explore areas of their advantage such that those with vast Agricultural land can boost agriculture and end from same while those with mineral deposits, will also earned revenue from it. just as Zamfara is currently managing the gold deposit in her territory. |
What was the essence of hacking CBN website without credit alert to my account? Anonymous should try that CBN again. Thanks for the Airtel. |
freeborn02:Sadly enough, you may not even be able to speak where I am. It is freedom that you are enjoying. Text, type and comment. I may be a hypocrite before you but telling the truth has never been synonymous with hypocrisy. |
freeborn02:Are you sure you are responding to the right post? In all my comments, I have not made mention of any church, sir. Aside what we profess to be, insulting others is a clear sign of immaturity and ill- upbringing. |
compwizard3:eehe! What do we do next? condition, Price and location? |
This man is another Lai Mohammed but very skilful. He uses grammar to confuse his citizens and threat to silent the few audacious ones. Super Highway, he has not done anything Rice Nursery or whatever, still in progress Now, again! But all these has already swallowed several billions of naira. |
And that is the least of the problems of an average Nigerians. We are not under compulsion to own DStv or Gotv. It is a choice of the affluent. #EndAllTheEndables |
Myer: Myer: That is simply one opinion. Churches that preach such are also preaching from the bible. If you have ever spent the time to read your bible you will realize that God called Paul and Barnabas to the uncircumcised. And all they have to do is have Faith in Christ and they are seated with Christ in heavenly places. Not of works but Faith. Galatiana 2:7 But contrariwise, when they saw that the gospel of the uncircumcision was committed to me, as the gospel of the circumcision was to Peter; Who are you to judge them when the log in your eyes is far bigger. Only you know your own sins. Myer:Not judging any? I acknowledge quite well my sinful nature and how condemned I stand before God save for the blood of Jesus Christ that was shed for the remission of my sin. Howbeit, you cannot be a member of a group (Church) where their practices are not at par with the gospel or do not care about the spiritual affairs of their members and you tell me you are better. |
freeborn02:By their fruits, you will know them. And this is the kind of "Christian" we're talking about. They are open to all forms of doctrines to practice them, calling on the name of God but in their heart they are filled with filth. God have mercy! |
Buhari should tread with caution. This protest may snowball to full-fletch #Revolution |
We all will not live to see the beast or his number (though the present Nigeria, is more of a hell than a country). But one thing is sure, we must end someday, somewhere. So, the best for us is to live with the end in sight. Prepared! Ready! That such time do not take us unaware. Maranatha! |
They should bring on the hack that will cause all ATM to vomit every Kobo in her belly. I dey queue now. |
