Now that dollars don fall, how much? Does it charge with solar panels? What ratings and how long does it take to fully charge? How long can it power 32inches tv? . dollarnaira: |
Those ones are already in his pocket |
NERC, like Emefiele, is implementing the policy of the Central Government and never to be blamed. They only "convey " Tinubu's message to Nigerians. |
When some of us warned, we were tagged and called names. Now it has dawn on us all. Don't bother, this is just test run. When fully implemented we will know. |
You're even going far. Try the coke or Pepsi here in Nigeria and the one from nearby Cameroon. You see that the difference is more than 7-up IamAsiri: |
Band or no band, they're only test running the price increase to avoid serious public outcry from the people. Hence, they seem to target the "rich" but the truth is that the price increase will be subtily spread to other bands. This is Nigeria |
Food First! The rest na luxury |
Sure you are being sarcastic yarimo: |
Who dash monkey banana! NaMe4: |
The comparison didn't take age to account but the revolution It's a sad reality that the Youths of Nigeria are not ready nor willing to govern but to gain access to the leaders as PA, PA to PA, PA to PA to SSA, etc Pasako: |
I bet my yansh! He is already promoting PO to take over. Nigerians have finally learned and from the Senegalese stage, it has slipped pass Tinubu. |
If those rice are branded, it's not looting. They only get their share of the government loots |
Nigeria is a wonderful people. If Reno Omokri, FG and APC can celebrate Naira gain against the $ when there actually deliberately allowed its fall. |
Yes I am. I would be happy if your speculation works out. And I expect it also reflect on the living conditions of the citizens 7lives: |
Even the usual Sunday visit where you are sure of getting at least a bottle of coke don ceased, tankless of jollof rice. Beer for friends? Or the regular "relaxation" with pepper soup and beer or even chicken, etc no longer work since Tinubu took over Things are no longer at ease |
Hahahahaha. Trust APC at your peril. |
I don't understand the kind of people we are in Nigeria. So OP, is prasing Cardoso for the crash in FX even at N1300/$1? In the first place, who was responsible for its fall? Buhari/Emefiele? No. They handed the Naira at N700/$1 to Tinubu/Cardoso. So what have they done to deserve any accolades? another Reno Omokri! |
Any Int'l organization that operates in Nigeria is a rogue organization or else it will pack out irrespective of it's investment. How many of the children of our leaders, from State Parliaments to NASS, to the Executives do get the exit Exams in 2 or more sitting or generally failed these exams including JAMB? Now, another aspect has been added to this. Candidates admitted into professional courses such as Medicine and Law especially, are sometimes directed to pick alternative courses even after documentation while the children of the rich filled the vacant space. |
The reporter supposed to balance this article by getting Air Peace's side of the story. Anyways, the Isiagu regalia is still paining |
Who and who outraged? Where and how? We promote Nigeria. |
This is the way to go! Though not entirely perfect, let him up the game on security. According to him, Benue will witness a turn around by his administration and I pray God leads him through. pocom16: |
Sir, you've just succeeded in saying nothing. Read and reread my comment or take it to your Primary school teacher to interpret it. Tell us what HE Fr Alia is doing. You can cap that with pics, links, etc. That's how to defend your principal and not jumping from one post to the other accusing all of ignorance. How do we know if you don't tell us the much you know about Benue. Stop the Killings, first! Ikyor02: |
Development for the death or for the living? There should be a strong will to combat the "conquer and rule" Fulani invaders that has continued to to turn Benue State to a killing field. Once the people can sleep with both eyes closed, whatever development initiative will enjoy the support of the people. So much is expected from Rev Fr Alia because of his background training and calling. He can't afford to betray the people trust |
To avoid this kind question, Tinubu asked all of una not to celebrate his birthday but una no gree. |
Erisco shots himself on the foot. This matter is simple and would have afforded him the opportunity to build his business rather than scatter it. Chioma said in the review that the tomato paste is sugary. Chief Eric on the other hand, on the product label stated that one of the ingredients is sugar. And whatever contains sugar must test sweeter. So why's Chief Umeofia now annoyed that someone said the product is sugary. What's the nutritional value of sugar in a tomato paste? Asonaijaaso: |
EXCLUSIVE: Detained Binance executive escapes from custody in Nigeria Mr Anjarwalla escaped a day after the Nigerian government slammed a four-count criminal charge on him, Tigran Gambaryan and Binance. ByOladeinde Olawoyin March 25, 2024 Reading Time: 3 mins read Nadeem Anjarwalla, one of the two Binance executives detained in Nigeria for alleged tax evasion and other offences, has escaped from lawful custody, those familiar with the matter have told PREMIUM TIMES. Our sources said Mr Anjarwalla, 38, escaped on Friday, 22 March, from the Abuja guest house where he and his colleague were detained after guards on duty led him to a nearby mosque for prayers in the spirit of the ongoing Ramadan fast. The Briton, who also has Kenyan citizenship, is believed to have flown out of Abuja using a Middle East airliner. It remains unclear how Mr Anjarwalla got on an international flight despite his British passport, with which he entered Nigeria, remaining in the custody of the Nigerian authorities. FIRS Authorities are also said to be working to unravel his intended destination in a bid to get him back into custody. An Immigration official said the Binance executive fled Nigeria on a Kenyan passport. He, however, said authorities were trying to determine how he obtained the passport, given that he had no other travel document (apart from the British passport) on him when he was taken into custody. Another source said the two officials were held at a “comfortable guest house” and allowed many rights, including the use of telephones, a privilege Mr Anjarwalla is believed to have exploited to plot an escape. When contacted Sunday night on the escape of the Binance executive from detention, the Head of Strategic Communication at the Office of the National Security Adviser, Zakari Mijinyawa, said he would enquire and revert. He has yet to do so as of the time of filing this report. Mr Anjarwalla, Binance’s Africa regional manager, and Tigran Gambaryan, a US citizen overseeing financial crime compliance at the crypto exchange platform, were detained upon their arrival in Nigeria on 26 February 2024. A criminal charge was filed against the two executives before a Magistrate Court in Abuja. On 28 February 2024, the court granted the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) an order to remand the duo for 14 days. The court also ordered Binance to provide the Nigerian government with the data/information of Nigerians trading on its platform. Following Binance’s refusal to comply with the order, the court extended the remand of the officials for an additional 14 days to prevent them from tampering with evidence. The court then adjourned the case till 4 April 2024. Also on 22 March, the Nigerian government approached the Federal High Court in Abuja and slammed another four-count charge on Binance Holdings Limited, Mr Anjarwalla and Mr Gambaryan, accusing them of offering services to subscribers on their platform while failing to register with the Federal Inland Revenue Service to pay all relevant taxes administered by the Service and in so doing, committed an offence, contrary to and punishable under Section 8 of the Value Added Tax Act of 1993 (as Amended). The defendants were also accused of offering taxable services to subscribers on their trading platform while failing to issue invoices to those subscribers to determine and pay their value-added taxes and, in so doing, committed an offence contrary to and punishable under S.29 of the Value Added Tax Act of 1993 (as amended). TEXEM Advert ALSO READ: Binance: Relatives of top executives detained in Nigeria speak Count Three of the charges accused the three defendants of offering services to subscribers on their Binance trading platform for the buying and selling of cryptocurrencies and the remittance and transfer of those assets while failing to deduct the necessary Value Added Taxes arising from their operations and thereby committing an offence contrary to and punishable under Section 40 of the Federal Inland Revenue Service Establishment Act 2007 (as amended). The last count of the charges wants the defendants punished for allegedly aiding and abetting subscribers on their Binance trading platform to unlawfully refuse to pay taxes or neglect to pay those taxes and, in so doing, committing an offence contrary to and punishable under the provisions of S.94 of the Companies Income Tax Act (as amended). The Nigerian government had, in the past three months, been cracking down on suspected money launderers and terrorism financiers, some of whom it alleged are using the Binance platform for criminal activities The Nigerian government said over $21.6 billion was traded by Nigerians whose identities were concealed by Binance. The government also claimed its investigations revealed that unscrupulous elements were using Binance for money laundering, terrorist financing, currency speculation and market manipulation, distorting the Nigerian economy and weakening the Naira against other currencies Dangote adbanner 728x90_2 (1) The detention of Binance officials in Nigeria began months after the crypto exchange platform pleaded guilty and agreed to pay $4.3 billion to settle criminal money laundering charges levied by the US Department of Justice. Binance founder and CEO Changpeng Zhao, also known as CZ, pleaded guilty and agreed to resign. His criminal trial has been postponed to 30 April by a US court. https://www.premiumtimesng.com/ |
It's rather unfortunate that the Oshiomhole help to "kill" the labour movement in Nigeria. The Union we have after Oshiomhole is worst than useless. So the State emperors (Govs) now drive the Unions withersoever they listed. At the State levels, NLC has become a bargaining platform for political office. |
Bought N9,000 per bag yesterday, Saturday |
To thijk that we still have 3years ahead to survive this country is thought provoking |
You can't trust this government. Until a significant number of people key into the CNG market, price will rise such that the poor will not be able to afford it. |
It's hard to forgive but harder to forget yet hardest to live with the pains of unforgivenness especially when the other died as a result of our refusal to help. The Bible admonished us to live in peace with all men insofar as it lies within us. It's difficult, but who knows if that was your stepping stone/building blocks to greatness. |
