Redmi 7 comes with camera2api enabled just look for the Gcam for your device, Download, Install and Flex your phone. cool

I think someone has drop the link to the Gcam for your device here or the other thread.

If you use AEX rom on Vince/Redmi 5 plus.
Before you update or flash the May 10 6.5 update (Gapps variant recommended) , update your firmware first. Flash using twrp. Very important. Clean flash recommended

After three days of non-stop search through google, i finally succeeded in helping a friend of mine flash TWRP on his Poco F1 smartphone.

Normally, it'll be easy but drivers issue can be a pain in the axx.

ADB devices command was detecting the device but for some reason, ADB fastboot devices was not detecting the device while in fastboot mode. Finally saw a solution om google after searching vigourously.

Dropping the Screenshot here incase anybody encounters similar problem while trying to flash TWRP.

Good afternoon. When flashing a rom using Orange fox twrp, should I uncheck the force Md5 check on all zips or just leave it checked and install.

And do I clear dalvik and cache before or after installing the zip file

I'm just learning the ropes

Leave the MD5 as it is when Flashing all zip files except stated otherwise from where you got the zip.

Clear dalvik cache BEFORE flashing ROM Only (infact mark everything in advanced wipe except from internal storage and memory card if you have any).

You may or may not clear dalvik cache after flashing a zip file. Personally, I don't.

It's not a Google tin oga
It's Xiaomi. And they did it on purpose.
In the case of Whyred, it has ARB. But if you're using EU ROM, you shouldn't have any issue with downgrading.
So not all their phones has ARB (Anti Roll Back) present.

We aren't talking about a Xioami phone which is why i said "Google". We are talking about the essential ph1.

I know about the ARB protection on Xioami phones.

The rom boots up but touch freezes and screen goes blank.
The mistake I made was moving directly from Android q beta (maybe)
I'll flash stock firmware for pie then retry.

Was thinking same thing too about the Android Q beta to Android Pie. Seems Google really don't like people going back to previous OS.

Been long i posted SOT. WiFi all through.

Found out why QC3.0 doesn't work. It actually works but stops as soon as phone goes above 40°C. I think syberiaOS set it that way. Phone was so cold today thanks to the rain so i decided to try it again and voila it worked. cheesy

RR limit has to be higher as QC3.0 still works even at 41°C huh

You won't brick your device with an unlocked bootloader. My bootloader was unlocked with phone rooted and i was updating when i was using MIUI, no issues.
