My experience with the Air dot 1 was very bad, it do not last the 8hrs as advertised. Had to sell em off after just two weeks of usage.

Can you make a review on the 3 ? And what store did you get yours from ??

I like the design, looks more like the Samsung Airbuds Live.

8hrs advertised ? Does that include with the box? I'm asking because this Airdots 3 was rated for 7hours (and I'm assuming that's on like medium volume with not so heavy usage) on a single charge and up to 30hrs with a case i think. Tbh, if i get anything above 4hrs it'll be okay for me.

There isn't enough features about it to make a review about it but I'll be answering any questions people have here. I got it from jumia global ( took about 2 weeks to get here).

As for battery, been using it for about an hour listening to music nonstop on like 70% volume and it's still at 90%.

After a long period of searching and waiting, Redmi Airdots 3.

I just updated my RN7 to miui 12.5. Omo this update is the best from Xiaomi so far. It's very fast, the animation is smooth, the display and performance is very much improved. The cons so far is the removal of navigation pill, the long press options when apps are minimized that enables you to lock,float windows or split screen is gone. I just they will release another update that will re-enable those features.

Tap and hold one app(in the multitasking window) to access all that.

Update: after a series of bug-fest on Xiaomi's MIUI and a move to AOSP ROMs that just weren't as stable as that of pixels, I moved to the Pixel 4a yesterday, brand new, and I love it!!! Screen is same size as my former phone (iPhone XS), very comfy to use with one hand (I hope manufacturers continue to make phones that are 6" and below for people with small hands like me).

The Pixel 4a battery is solid (after a battery drain scare). 8-10% per hour SOT, just like the Redmi note 10 pro on 120hz.

I'm already adjusting to 60hz and the pixel 4a seems smooth still, and faster too. Apps stay in background (thank God)! Xiaomi phones are very aggressive with ram management (literally nothing stays in memory, my God).

Android 12 is even better.

Shockingly, performance is better on the pixel 4a. I know a lot of people will argue the Redmi note 10 pro has a better hardware, but there again, google showing us that software is as important as hardware if done well.

Camera on the 4a is on a league of it's own. The single len is enough and better than 4 cameras, again software is king! No Gcam mod is close!!!

These were enough pros for me to jump ship and rightly so, but for a bit steeper pocket.

It was a nice short time with y'all.

Edit: the haptic feedback is like what you get on the iPhone. Redmi note 10 pro? Yuck!

This is not a post to bash a phone I just used, and to be honest, the Redmi note 10 pro is a solid product for its price, but for a little more, the pixel 4a is better is every aspect except for the 120hz display which I find to be a feature that can be overlooked. And oh! Display quality is better on the Pixel 4a too.

You've said nothing but the truth here. I'm a Xiaomi fanboy but the miui is nothing compared to pure Android and who does it best than Google (pixel) themselves.

Stock Android have always been ahead of skinned Android nobody can deny. Even Xiaomi knows this and is working towards that. Miui 12.5 cut out a lot of bugs and bloatware and even the upcoming miui 13 has been said to make things even better in the optimisation department to make things run better and closer to stock Android.

With that said, miui still has some features that i personally can't live without which isn't and hasn't been on stock Android for a while. Although I'm using miui on my device, I'll definitely be porting to Stock android if and when it checks all the right boxes for me. Happy to see it has for you.

I was thinking about this but i have just one issue. The router from the YouTube video seems to only work with direct power - no light and it's not going to work.

Why the f are you still using Swift? Why not buy an unlocked router that takes a sim card and subscribe to large data packs from the GSM network with the best coverage for your area?

First, It gives you freedom should you decide to relocate from one area to another and the coverage strength changes

Secondly, you can share the same data package with your mobile devices when you go about your regular day...the big GSM guys now allow data sharing between multiple lines

No other ISP in this country has a truly unlimited plan with nearly the same coverage as swift. None.

The speed is slow quite alright but the peace of mind in doing just one monthly sub in that month is something else - regardless of how much data you use, it still lasts you 30days.

Other ISP like MTN, Airtel etc might give you 500GB for 25K which looks like a lot, but if you're a heavy user, you might actually end up use that in just 2 weeks and have to do yet another sub.

I have used up to 1tb in a month before with the 25k unlimited plan so I don't think they is a data cap.

The issue is speed. Whenever I used speed test it shows over 4mbps BUT my download on IDM and torrent can never pass 500kbps which is very annoying I've even reach out to there support they sent someone but the person didn't do shit.

Turns out 4mbps is actually 500kbps. They are just using the 4mbps to get people to subscribe for it.

They also sent someone to me who didn't do anything as well.
